Very comprehensive and a good overview, but a bit jargony and technical for the average horse owner. I'm all for research findings and some details, but this feels like it was written for vets.

Recommend a skim of the photos but would not recommend reading.

Includes working anatomy of the horse and many symptoms and illnesses for horses. “Complete” seems like a bit of an overstatement but definitely a good introductory text for non vets.

I wouldn't be reading this book if not for my upcoming exams. If you really love horses and want to learn about them, this is your book!

This is a good reference but I have found others that I like better.
