As the title suggests, this book involves the recollections of Warren Corning Wick, who lived on Cleveland's Millionaire's Row, Euclid Avenue, with his extended illustrious family members. He goes on to detail much of the specifics of life in and around the turn-of-the-century amongst the upper strata of society during Cleveland's heyday.
Amazingly insightful book on Cleveland's bygone era of the Gilded Age. For a book as short at this one, it is filled with a multitude of historical points of interest that only springboard off into numerous directions if one is so inclined, hence it took me an extended period to finish. The wealth that once existed on Cleveland's Millionaire's Row was truly astounding, although it only lasted for a very brief period of time.
