When Emmet Met Oliver

Rate this book
Oliver Reed has a decent job, but no life, and very few people he can call friends. Same old, same old, boring life, where nothing really changed. Until the company Christmas party. Emmet Donovan just moved back to the town he was born in. After being thrown out by his parents as a young teen he was rescued by his grandfather. Now he's owner of his grandfather's bar, but prospects for a relationship aren't that good in this town. Then he meets Oliver. CONTENT This is a HFN title.

I have to admit I'm quit confused about this story, I'm not sure what the point was other than two lonely guys meeting and having sex? The story didn't flow for me, it was too step by step for me. This happened, then this and then this. No warmth, no wow or pull. Then it just ended, I'm assuming because Emmet and Oliver are still together that's good but there's no real story. The author only scratched the surface of each character and then nothing. It just ended. 2 - 2.5 stars review by upallnightreadallday.blogspot.com
