Finally. Meg and Jared’s simple-and-perfect island wedding is about to take place … even if Meg’s mom would prefer something a little less simple, and a little less island.
Lacey’s on her way home and Slate’s coming to the island to perform bridesmaid duties with Austen.
The village hall is booked, Betsy’s on pie duty, and the islanders are ready to celebrate with Meg and Jared.
Until weather warnings go off at the same time as a tornado touches down.
With roofs blown off, barns collapsed, and cars flipped Meg knows the focus needs to switch from wedding celebrations to disaster recovery.
But do the islanders agree with her?
Catch up with familiar people – and horses – in this final book of Tudor Robin’s Island Series.
Meg and Jared plan a simple wedding with all their friends and family. Circumstances try to prevent this from happening. Every other character from the series and related ones are here too, and their stories are neatly wrapped up. As expected with a book about a wedding, it's often very emotional, in a good way.
This final Island Series book centers on a wedding that brings the ensemble cast together. As the characters prepare for the big day, past conflicts and misunderstandings resurface, briefly testing friendships and romances. There’s a focus on planning, supporting one another, and personal growth, giving each character moments to reflect and resolve lingering issues.
Horses remain a part of daily life, appearing in training and small interactions, but they are more a backdrop than the central focus. The equestrian element adds continuity from previous books while keeping the story grounded in the familiar island setting.
Overall, the book is gentle and comforting, highlighting community, connection, and healing. Relationships are mended, romances are solidified, and the story ends with a sense of closure and happiness for the series’ character
Slightly confusing and all over the place due to a change from first-person perspective in the previous books to third-person in this one, as well as following four different character's perspectives. However, a really lovely conclusion to the series where you got to see how all the previous main characters ended up. I'm a bit sad to say goodbye to these characters, especially Meg, and would've loved to see more of the side characters be explored, for instance Alanna or Lyndsay.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and wish I had read all the books that came before it in the series. I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.
This book was very good and brought the couples and friends up to date. The wedding was pure bliss. I was really impressed how the community came through after the tornado damage. I enjoyed this book from start to finish.
What a story! I love that all of our favorite characters are in one place in one book, and FINALLY Meg and Jared! I won’t spoil the book but it’s nice to have happily ever after even with the complications that real life and real tragedy throws in the path of everyone’s life. Heartwarming…
