A sexy category romance from Entangled's Brazen imprint...
He’s not who she thinks, and he has seduction plans of his own…
Danielle Kastien is done with powerful men. After months of near-saintly behavior, she’s determined to use the company costume party to have her wicked way with every delicious inch of the sexy-but-sweet mail guy she’s been meeting for coffee. Though her costume is designed to send him into a haze of blind lust, Danielle quickly realizes Grayson is not the kind of man she can control.
Grayson Harper is used to having his way at work and in the bedroom. He’s dominant. Commanding. Obeyed. He’s been patiently biding his time with Danielle, enjoying spending time with someone who sees him as someone other than the CEO of Harper Industries. But before he can confess, he has Danielle right where he wants her. Where he’s wanted her since the day they met. And he’s in far too deep to risk his claim on the one woman who makes him hard with need...

Katee Robert is the queen of flirty seduction. With sexy secrets and delicious liaisons this story had me begging for more. I was surprised at how invested I was with these characters after such a short book so it goes without saying that this author is on my hit list for future releases, Here's the rest of my thoughts ...
What's it all about? Danielle Castian is not a fan of powerful businessmen in fact she goes out of her way to avoid them, what she is interested in is the developing relationship she is finding increasingly interesting with the mail man where she works. With a plan in place to finally take it a step further with the mysterious but tempting Grayson, Danielle is ready to put her seduction skills to the test. Grayson Harper is tired of attracting the 'wrong type' for the 'wrong reasons' so when his attractive employee catches his eye it's easy to fall into the lie that he's the companies mail man instead of the truth of his CEO status. As things heat up between the couple the real test will be if this attraction will turn into something more or will a lie ruin any chance of love even before it gets a chance to develop? Jump into this sexy, sweet novella brought to us by the fabulous Katee Robert.
what did I love? Katee Robert does it again, this book delivered one sexy CEO and a flirty, feisty employee as soon as I started this novella I instantly thought "bring on the office romance". This short story had more than enough to keep me interested, the secrets were believable and amusing and the sexual chemistry arrived by the truck load full. I loved the alternating point of views, and I couldn't resist but fall in love with this couple. Everything about this story was sizzling hot and filled with more than enough hot bedroom action but it also delivered on the sweet romance. Those who like to read stories that are low on the angst and high on the seduction will definitely be happy with this short story, I'm ready to read more from Katee Robert.
Why not five? As with most novella's that I read I needed more, what I read was fabulous but not tempting enough to be crowned a full out five star. Short stories tend to leave out the building connection between a couple that I enjoy so much, so with that being said it's rare that I'd give a five star out for a novella. But don't be mistaken I loved this quickie for what it is, a sexy, simple loved up soirée.
Final thoughts ... If you need a super sexy, quick fix and you enjoy an office romance affair type book then Katee Robert is your author. I love when I can grab a short story and feel thoroughly entertained and this book delivered. The brazen collection continues to be a favourite of mine, I really can't help my addiction. Don't forget to grab the quickie on release day. Enjoy, kisses.

Wowee this is a hot short story, the tension between Grayson and Danielle sizzles off the page from the get go. I loved that although this is a novella, the build up from them actually meeting to then getting together doesn’t feel rushed.
Things progress to the point where the flirting and innocent touching are not enough, and they both decide to take things a step further at the company Halloween party.
“I won’t do anything to you that you don’t beg me for first.”
Danielle is under the impression that Grayson is the mail room guy. How wrong can a girl be!
Grayson is worried that Danielle will run a mile when she finds out who he really is, seeing she has major daddy issues, and he actually epitomizes everything she believe she doesn’t want in a partner…… and he is pretty spot on with his assessment. However the Phantom of the Opera is an insistent fellow, and what ensues is pretty damn excellent.
The quality of Katee Robert’s writing in this novella has definitely pushed the Come Undone series to the top of my TBR list.

This was a really predictable book. The heroine has daddy issues so she's not a fan of rich/successful men. I didn’t like her character at all. She just seemed whiney and immature. She thinks she's been talking to the mail guy from her office over coffee for a few months, but........its really the billionaire CEO who lets her believe this because he knows she has daddy issues. I mean come on. Did she never ask this man his last name that she's been having coffee with for months? Surely she knew the name of the CEO of the building that she worked at. Grayson is not a common name. Could she be that much of a dumbass??? Things like this just made this read ridiculous for me. Throw in a masquerade ball. Some really hot (but demanding) sex and this is what you get. The story and characters did not feel realistic at any point for me, and they had absolutely no depth. If you are just looking for a quick book to read with hot sex, then this might do the trick. The hero is a control freak though. I usually like a touch of bossiness/alpha male behavior, and even BDSM but I just really DID NOT care for it from him. When he was demanding I didn’t find it sexy at all only annoying.
He would say shit like this: She grabbed his arm. “Hey, I asked you a—” He spun her around and pressed her against the wall. “And I didn’t give you permission to speak.”
Um no.
This was just a disappointing read. Lame throughout. Glad it only cost .99. I will still check out some of this writers future work, just not this series.
This story could have been the best out of the 4 books in the Come Undone series. And I mean it in the sense that the plot was believable, the characters had more believable points of view etc. Such a shame the author decided for this to be the shortest story. Also it's a shame her wittiness and sense of humour disappeared after book 2.
This could have been a stand alone book in his own right. Especially since the relation between the MFC and the characters in the other books is very flimsy.
Very hot. I enjoyed how the main character was very headstrong and defended herself. The fact that the male she was with was dominant made this an interesting dynamic. I was really hoping there would be more spicy scenes because the chemistry between the two was very sexy. This was a fun, quick read.
I know that this is just a novella but damn did I really like this. I just wanted more from this couple! I liked the story line and the chemistry that radiated throughout this book. I was craving more of was just more content, meaning the coffee dates and a little bit more groveling. I felt like the ending was so quick which most novellas are, but with there being a third act break up, it just seemed rushed, but also, the characters didn’t really have time to communicate about why they wanted to get back together.
I didn’t realize that this was the last book in Come Undone series, so I will most definitely be reading from the beginning, starting with Wrong Bed, Right Guy.
¿Me gustó?
audio - 3/5. I panicked when I didn't have an audio on queue and picked this, and it wasn't the best choice. Pretty much exactly what I expect from a billionaire novella, and killed the time I needed, but really would have been better served in print format, for me at least.
Lolll me and Ash just listened to this for our car ride and it’s so short I’m not gonna rate it but it was not great. They’ve both got issues, most of it takes place in one night, but it was a good laugh to have with my friend

Grayson Harper is the CEO of Harper Industries, and an all-round corporate hard-ass. He is a workaholic who suffers no fools, and, as a consequence, finds little time to really court the ladies.
Danielle Kastien is a good girl. She’s completely intimidated by her father, which has its own way of dictating the opinion she has of men in powerful, commanding jobs.
She has been enjoying coffee rendezvous with Grayson, having met him in the mail room. But she’s keen to take it further, and what more of an opportunity would she need than the company Halloween party that’s approaching.
Grayson has thoroughly enjoyed his mistaken identity with Danielle. Her naturalness, her vulnerability, her allure is unlike any other woman he has encountered, and he wants it…permanently.
I thoroughly enjoyed this short, steamy, story from Katee Robert’s Come Undone series. Just like the others in this series that I have read, the author has a great way of combining seriously hot encounters with just the right level of joviality.
25/11/2021 3 ⭐ I definitely had no idea this was set in the middle of a series but yeah I think I'm considering going back and starting at the beginning and reading the series through.
4.5. Seriously hot novella. Mistaken identity office romance. Female leads father is a neglectful 4 star general, so she has some major issues with powerful men. Male lead is a CEO, but she mistakes him for a mail guy when they first meet. He allows the mistake as he's excited to not have a woman after him for his money & power. They keep meeting, and their attraction grows, along with his knowledge she will run when she figures out who he is. There is hot seduction at the office Halloween party and after, with some light bondage/submission. Great emotional development for a novella, and seriously 🔥.
4*s It was great to get Danielle's story, she made a huge impact in book 3 so I was excited for this and whilst it did not disappoint, I wanted more.... tbh I think she deserved her own full length book but saying that, I thought Grayson was perfect for her, he was just the kind of man she needed - even if she didn't know it - and they smouldered off those pages with one particular office scene being very smexy. Great HEA fix from a great series though and all of them equally as good.
If you have read Katee Roberts Come Undone series, then you won’t be disappointed with this addition. That said, it can easily be read as a standalone. We met Danielle in Two Wrongs, One Right and this elaborates on her budding romance. I loved Greyson and their chemistry? Oh it’s sizzling.
I originally read this as part of the ‘Lovers Unmasked’ Anthology
Rating: 3 stars What I Liked: This is an enjoyable little book. There’s nothing really complicated about it, I read it in one sitting and found it quite cute and sexy. The romance is simple with a little bit of angst, and there’s some steamy, well-written sex scenes as you might expect from one of Katee Robert’s books. What I Didn’t: I would have liked it to be a bit longer - some of the angst felt a bit heavy for a novella of this kind as it didn’t have the space on-page to really delve into Danielle’s issues. Overall: It’s fun and cute and sexy, and was enjoyable to read. Would I Recommend It?: Yes, if you want a quick, sexy read with a mistaken identity plotline and some mild BDSM. Would I Read Something By The Author Again?: Yes. Content Warnings:
Not one of my favorite from Katee. I usually really enjoy the stories she writes, but I really just wasn't convinced with this one. It was a VERY short story. Danielle has issues with rich guys so when she runs into the "mail guy" at her office and he's sweet and kind, she thinks she found the perfect guy. But of course the "mail guy" actually owns the company and is a dominating guy who isn't going to let her escape.. which of course she tries.. It just felt like Danielle's dislike for rich guys was a bit over dramatic and her reaction to finding out.. what's his name, actually owns the company was over dramatic and his insistence on getting her back was over dramatic. It was just a whole lot for a very short story.
