Let me start off by saying this isn't for a young audience it is aimed for 18 and over. This story has everything. Paranormal, mystery and BDSM. Whats a girl to do but sit down and devour this book in one sitting. There has been a long history of subs going missing and ending up dead. Theodore has no clues and is at his wits end. So he does the only thing he can do , and the last thin he wants to do . He calls Artyisn, to repay the debt . She doesn't want to head back to the fold but she wants to get the debt paid and Theodore out of her life forever.
She is partnered up with 4 of the hottest men/ paranormals out there. We have a hell hound , an elf . a demon and an angel. Lets just say these men will be in your dreams for a few days afterwards. I so know they will be in mine. But I digress now back to the review.
She has to teach them the fundamentals of the lifestyle, so they can find this sick creep. They have to enter the place she doesn't want to go back to. They go on the hunt and find out some truths and start unraveling the mystery. The sex scenes in this book are scorching hot. I mean four hot men all submitting is just about the sexiness thing out there. Again I digress
Khai can sure write some great scenes. The scene in the club had me wishing my hubby was home. She lets you feel the fight that Artyisn is going through , trying to push the men away from her. She is just one tough broad. But these men need her like she needs them . They will eventually come together . I can hope. They are great with whatever you call them.
If you want a great book with a great paranormal twist. with dark flawed characters this is the book for you. This is a book you will stay up late for. I know I would of if I didn't finish it this morning. So please check it out. I don't think you will be disappointed. Trust me hubby might like that you read this book hehehehehehehe

OH MY GOD!!! This book is the s**t!!! I am in love with this book!!! I’m so used to reading books where the dominant is a guy, but Artisyn is so bad ass, I really couldn’t see her as a sub. She commands such a presence; I’m not surprised that pretty much all of the men in the book are willing to lick her boots.
This book really blew me away and not just because Artisyn is the “Queen of all Dommes”. The story is really intriguing and sucks the reader in. With just the right mix of suspense, hot scenes, and violence I was glued to my Kindle.
The characters are awesome (my favorite is Artisyn, if you couldn’t tell) but I will tell you that I loathe Theodore, you’ll find out why but I just can’t stand him. The book really just played like a movie in my head. The characters and the story were just that vivid. The author does a great job of bringing the reader in to her “fucked up imagination”.
Overall this is an excellent read. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone (over 18 of course) but just remember her disclaimer.

There's not a correct word to describe Indebted, it's mind-blowing. Khai's characters are gorgeous in so many different ways, their strength, weaknesses, and turmoils comes out of each and everyone of them perfectly. This story line runs smooth, with just a enough sexual battle to leave you fully sedated. If your looking for a smooth running story, here it is.

Khai L. Bayne has weaved a creative paranormal story with all the elements to capture your attention—suspense, high emotions, sexy (Oh, yeah), steamy (Oh, my God), heat scorching sizzling where you burn and blush like you need to jump in the cold waters off the coast of Alaska (Hell, yeah) and nail biting tension. I loved Artisyn’s strong alpha female character and how she commanded her team of four men both inside and outside the bedroom. I felt for Theodore who was trying to right his wrong with Artisyn, and I was sad that life didn’t work to his advantage.
As far as the writing, there are areas for improvement. Throughout the book there were either words missing or repeated in the same sentence. This tends to slow down a reader. Another proof of the book would be well warranted. There were also instances where there were several people in a scene and at times I couldn’t tell who was where. Some characters even appeared out of nowhere and I had to go back a few pages to see what they were doing or where they came from.
Overall, I’m interested in the next book as the ending indicates. Finally, I was extremely moved by the dedication of this book. Authors do put in an enormous amount of heart and soul into their writing and it’s the people around them that ride their journey with them.
This book is not for the faint-of-heart. So reader take note of the author’s warning.

I can’t express my shock and awe for both books. Simply amazing. Khai pushed to the limit and more. I was enthralled with the characters, story, and well, the whole package.
I completely fell in love with Artisyn. By far, my favorite main character I have read. Which I have read more books than most people do in a decade. If there was one female that made me question my gender attraction, it would be her. Tingles in your tummy. I get why all men love her. Artisyn and her life she has lived is enough reason to read both books.
As for the men. My favorite four. Mouth dropping. Eyes bugged out. Speechless. I am not the usual person that would read a story line that blurs the line of sexuality. Khai proved me wrong. How can you love that many characters from a book? It has never happened to me.
I cannot describe how much I loved the books. If you are a person that is shy and only wants sparkles and sunshine at the end of the story, move along. Or, make an exception. Both books will blow your mind.
I will lose my mind waiting for the third book. Reading the third book will be a necessity. Each day after reading both books, I can’t help but think of scenes in the book. Moving in all the right directions.
I rate both books a 5. That is how good both books are. Sigh..

Indebted is a book for mature readers. There is violence and sex.
Artisyn Daniels is an ex-special operative agent that was in a self imposed exile for the last two years due to an assignment gone terrible wrong. Her former boss calls in a favor she is indebted to him to come work an assignment to find a killer that is brutalizing his victims before killing them.
When Artishn reports in she finds that she is expected to work uncover with four men in the BDSM scene, which she knows all too well. She has a month to train the men and infiltrate themselves into the club where some of the victims were last seen. Sounds like it should be simple and straight forth. It was anything but simple. Not to mention that the wall that Artisyn has put up to keep from getting close to people is slowly coming down with her "team"
Sound interesting, so far? Add in a heaping spoonful of betrayal, violence, very steamy sex, heartbreaking loss, mythical and legendary creatures and an emotional roller coaster ride and you have Indebted.
The writing was good, scenes flowed smoothly. I either liked or hated most of the characters. Although at times I wanted to shake Artisyn! Overall its a well written and interesting read.

I was very privileged to Beta read this story. OMG is the first thing that comes to mind. Artisyn is one lucky woman to have not one but four men at her beckon call. When Artisyn gets the call from Theodore that she needs to come see him, you know there is some type of "past" between them. When she gets to the compound, she gets a "surpise" as to what Theodore wants and who he has waiting to meet her. Abel, Niall, Dionysos and Kheleb shift changers that were gonna work with her on this task. Damn they are hot!!!! Niall is my favorite with Dionysos in close second. Mmmm the things Artisyn does to these men to get them trained for the task at hand is hot steamy and a few places, dripping wet panties will happen. As much as I would love to let you in on the hot steamy scenes, I don't like to give out spoilers, so go one click this book and read for yourselves. But just know that you WILL be changing your panties at least once or twice during this book.

I was given a gift copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. How do you piece yourself back together after having endured a terrible event? How do you continue to live when you feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders? This is how Artysn has felt for the past few years of her life. When she is called in to repay a debt she has one goal in mind get in get out and get GONE. Like everything else in life however fate has a different plan for her. She is teamed up with a group of men for his mission and soon realizes that she maybe in way over her head where these gentlemen are involved. This story has a very bud BDSM element and is not for the faint of heart. However if you enjoy a plethora of paranormals and can handle BDSM this is definitely the book for you. It has a little=le something for everyone epic fights, evil villains, horrible betrayals as well as healing this was a fascinating read I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

This was an amazing read by a debut author chalked full of mystery, intrigue, BSDM, supernatural beings, passion and ultimately love. If you love paranormal books, then this one will be right up your alley! I won't go into any details since you can read the blurb and I don't want to give away anything. You just have to read it, it will be well worth your time.
i felt as though she grabbed my hands in the beginning and took me to places I have never been. This novel is filled with raw emotions that have you gripping the pages one minute while swooning over the supernaturals characters the next. Khai did an incredible job creating very unique characters and you feel as though you get to know all of them very personally by the end of the novel. The flow is excellent and keeps you moving forward. Khai is definitely an author to watch and I look forward to reading more from her.

This is a review on Indebted by Author Khai L. Bayne
This book has truly taken me by complete storm. Artisyn comes back to a town she though she had left for ever. She has to go in undercover in her old Club where she was a dom. She is after a killer who uses. his paranormal ability to slaughter girls. They have got to find him and stop him. She is given a squad of 4 men that as time goes she is ready accept Fate that she must show them the perks of being with the best dom in the business.You get drawn in by the sadistic Murders, Until you realise you ,you are waiting on pins and needles to see if Artisyn comes out alive and will she be set with her ring of men.. You have got to read this I cant wait for her next book

What a HOT wild ride! I love how this book has a really strong woman Artisyn Daniels as the main character. Artisyn gets called back by Theodore to help with a case that only she can do. Along the way Artisyn gets paired up with four hot men to be on her 'team testosterone' as she refers to them as. She never thought she would ever get the feelings that she does for these four men and is not sure how to really deal wth the feelings that keep building every day. In the end they kick butt and every one ends up getting their heart broken one way or another. Ths is a great book with all kinds of unique characters and lots of action.

Exciting..Amazing..Enticing..Khai is brilliant! I was hooked right from the beginning.. A paranormal story with a twist,that is filled with suspense and extremely steamy scenes. Artisyn is thrusted back into a world she tried in vain to forget.Now she is on the path to catch a killer. To help her along are four incredibly sexy beings. Fustrations run high as the killer continues to be elusive, but so does the sexual tension between Artisyn and her men..I thoroughly enjoyed reading how this story unraveled. I also found the need to fan myself quite often..Hot!! Hot!! Hot!!

This book was different from a lot I have read, however it was well written with characters who make you feel their emotions. A group of paranormal investigators who are of the supernatural world band together to help Artisyn, and to take down a murderer.
Team Testosterone also helps Artisyn heal the tragedy she has went thru and has been dealing with for years. They allow her to find herself again.
Great job by the author keeping the book interesting and did I mention, Hot??

I will not waste your time by posting spoilers or telling you the same thing that others have already said about this book. I will get straight to the point. Indebted: A sin from Ashes is a great read. It grabs your attention from the beginning and holds it throughout the book. The action in this read is amazing! The story and characters are well written and well developed. Bayne did a wonderful job with this book. I look forward to reading more from this author and I recommend this be added to your TBR list. If you are not a fan of violence, sex or blood, then this book is not for you.

This was an awesome book! I became so engrossed in the story, I love that there are so many different types of paranormal creatures who all co-exist with each other and I love the fact that it was four men submitting to a female dominant which was really hot! The reveal of the bad guy towards the end of the book totally shocked me! I was so not expecting that. The ending is a bit of cliffhanger which makes me excited to read the next book in the series.

Wow this book definitely pushes your comfort boundaries to begin with but once you really get into the story and connect with the characters yes you may blush but this isn't just a naughty book it's about love, determination and the unknown. This book has suspense, intrigue, surprises, love, some very blushable moments and the supernatural so really what more could you want! I would not have bought a book like this myself, but damn am I glad I had the opportunity to because I am now addicted to this series and need to see what happens next!

Sexy, erotic and full of suspense
Wow! Get your fan ready as the h/H's will leave you hot and bothered. Not only that but it's also got a great storyline of suspense to keep you on your toes.

Blowed Me Away
This is the hottest paranormal book that I have ever read. It had some aspects to it that I really wasn't expecting but was an awesome surprise. It did have an dark element to it so it's not for the faint of heart . I loved the rawness of it, the frankness, I'm not a size 2 or ashamed of my body part of it. Oh hell, I just loved the whole freaking thing. This book so rocked and I can't read to read the next one. A must read.

Not my typical choice of book, have never been a big fan of special ops forces or BDSM. I had the met the author and adored her, so I was determined to read the book anyway. I was not disappointed, this book drew me in and kept me going back for more. I am now a big fan of Artisyn and need more.

It was ok. The Amazon page mentions the book was recently (2015) edited, but it still has a long way to go. If you can get over missing words, incorrect punctuation, and switching from present to past tense all the time, go for it. Luckily for me it was a freebie.

Not for me
It was good. Not what I was hoping for. The back in forth in the chapter of POV of characters got confusing who was talking or thinking.
