3 DO NOT JUDGE ME stars

The secret to enjoying this book is not taking it serious at all because it’s like these authors wrote this on a Nokia 3310 while high asf. This started as if I was supposed to know these characters and their backgrounds already(I don’t know if there’s a book with that but this is a standalone so… 🤷🏽‍♀️). So many plot holes in the already none existing plot. Characters whose already personalities was being rich
I almost DNF’d this at point but once I stopped taking it seriously and trying to make it make sense I started enjoying it 😂
On the positive side, it was a quick super steamy read 🥵
I was gonna rate it lower but it just don’t feel right to me. Don’t ask me why….I DON’T KNOW! 😂

***I just wanna start off by apologizing for being such a negative Nancy! I swear I am not usually this pissy or critical with most of my books. It’s just here lately I’ve been reading from a list of books written by authors that are attending a convention I’m going to instead of just picking whatever I want to read and my reviews have been suffering because of it. I feel like people are going to start thinking I hate everything. 😩😭

Sooooo…. I’d be willing to bet my left pinky toe that Willow Winters heavily influenced the first half and M. Robinson was more involved with the second half. Why? Well, because there was a blatant lack of “asymmetrical/asymmetric” smiles, grins, and/or smirks. I’ve observed that this is Ms. Winter’s favorite description of a mouth. It was EVERYWHERE in her Tequila Rose book and by 8% into this one, the description was used THREE times already and was used numerous times after that until about halfway through when it, thankfully, mysteriously disappears. Additionally, around this point, there was actually a little emotion written into the characters which was not really present in the first half of the book.
I’ve been on a mission to find something that Willow Winters has written that I like and I’ve been failing miserably. At least with this book I think I was able to pinpoint what throws me off so much about her writing. 🤷‍♀️ I cannot stand the way she writes heroines or female characters in general for that matter. This is the third book that I’ve read and I disliked the FMC in every one of them. They’ve all been selfish and willingly ignorant. Not to mention in this one, the heroine’s best friend came across so demanding and snarky at first that I thought for sure it would be revealed that she was one of the ones plotting and hurting the MC’s behind their backs. But no she’s just a bitch that the heroine loves like a sister and will be the heroine of the next book! 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️😬
Anyway, all that aside, this book was a frickin hot mess. Wrong words used often (i.e colored instead of collared), missing words altogether, quotation marks missing from dialogue, a character’s name changed within a scene (poor Mr. Michaels out of nowhere was referred to as ‘Jonathan’ twice in the heroine’s inner monologue after solely being referred to as ‘Mr. Michaels’ the entire book) and what I found so unbelievable was that not once but TWICE was a scene messed up because the characters started out one way but then were referenced differently later in the scene. The first time, our heroine greets the hero in a little white nightgown and not too long after he’s taking off her dress… I at least tried to give the benefit of the doubt there. I was like, “Well maybe some people refer to it as a dress?” 🤔 But when later in the book, the hero opens the door wearing ONLY silk pajama bottoms and then when they start getting it on within the same scene and our heroine is struggling to get his belt off, throwing it on the floor then precedes to unbutton and unzip his pants…. I knew then that nope, the author duo was just not paying attention to their own scenes and apparently no one (them or anyone else) was proofreading behind them.
I struggled so much to connect with these characters. There was nothing compelling about them, nothing that made me sympathize with them and their situation. So, essentially, I didn’t care what happened to them.
I know I should probably give a break down of the characters and a summary of the story, but I’m just over it and pissed off that I wasted more time on another dead end, unenjoyable story.
I finished, so 2 stars, but would not recommend.

Unfortunately this one did not work for me at all. I love M Robinson but I didn't feel the characters connection, there's some things that he says to her that didn't work for me at all. It felt just gross to me. Also, there was not truly a plot, mostly spice, I love my spice but it needs to have a plot for me. I think it's good as a palate cleanser as it's a super fast read !

This is the ultimate guilty pleasure book!

The story takes place in New York and has a little bit of gossip girl vibes. They are both a part of the elite society. Brooklyn (22) is 13 years younger than Ronan (35) and a student at the university where Ronan works. After a steamy one-night stand, a sex tape is distributed to the board at the university where Ronan works and Brooklyn’s father is the dean. To save Ronan’s job Brooklyn agrees to pretend they are engaged. However, things quickly spiral out of control.

The tropes are:
- Age Gap
- Fake engagement/fake dating
- Professor/Student
- Rival Families
- Forbidden Love
- Forced Proximity
- Billionaire MMC

I almost read the entire book in one sitting. Once I started I just couldn’t put it down. It was fast paced and very enjoyable. The plot wasn’t all that complicated, but it was entertaining enough to keep turning the pages. I really enjoyed the plot and wished there would have been more of it or that the authors had dug a little deeper on it. But part of what makes this book such light entertainment is that it’s so fast paced and a short read.

The emphasis in this book is on the developing relationship and the chemistry between the main characters. There is spice from the first page, literally from the first sentence. And it continues throughout the entire book. So if you’re a spice lover who wants mostly spice with a little bit of a plot, this is it.

Forbidden. Explosive. 100% Addictive.

Come Here and Kiss Me starts off with one heck of a bang and never looks back. This story is forbidden, sinful, and downright delicious. From the moment you meet Ronan and Brooklyn, you will be instantly hooked. Their chemistry is scorching and will leave you desperately wanting more.

Not only was this story filled with lots of sexy good times, but it also had plenty of drama added into the mix. I mean, what can go wrong with a dysfunctional family dynamic and a sex tape? Come Here and Kiss Me definitely kept me on my toes and I couldn't wait to see how this story was resolved.

Come Here and Kiss Me is a sexy and entertaining read. I absolutely loved getting swept up in Ronan and Brooklyn's story.

I can't wait to read more from this duo.

This is my first M.Robinson & Willow Winter book.
It's my first contact with both authors and my God they delivered, and they did it in the best way possible.

This book has everything that I wanted, needed, and then some more.

I said it before, and I'll say it again, I am not a fan of age gaps, but this one ate.

The book starts with a BANG. Literally... it was hawt, hawt. The kind of s*× I want to have in my life, but don't 😒 ( I swear with each passing day I realize I'm too single for the books that I read )...

The characters were amazing, individually & together. Their chemistry was spectacular, and I love how even tho' it was kinda like a marriage of convience kinda thing it wasn't at the same time. I don't want to elaborate more on this cuz I don't want to spoil the fun for anyone.

I loved how he was unhinged and possessive. Once I started this book, I took my feminism and threw it out the window cuz these two ladies came to play. They threw in this book everything that I love about an MMC. Everything. Gimme a man like Ro already cuz Holly hell... can I order one like him from somewhere, or... they don't do this model anymore?

The story was fun, with a bit of a Gossip Girl vibes, and I couldn't ask for more. I am so curious about the next book in this series, and I hope I'll see more of Brooklyn & Ronan in the future because I am NOT done with them.

This was a 5✨️ for me, and it is a deserved one. I am glad I had the opportunity to read this book before it came out today. Go grab a copy. You will NOT regret it.

Brooklyn Chambers is the Dean’s daughter and needs to follow his rules to keep her trust fund. Ronan Wolf is a Professor at her father’s university that she always had a crush on. One night between them could ruin them both or change their paths forever! This is more of a faux relationship than professor/student romance bathed in a “s” fest with a twist. A fast paced read but I did feel this almost started in the middle of their story and was hoping for more buildup “want/connection” between them. However, fans of high heat and loads of “s” scenes will enjoy this one. Told in first person and dual POV.

One word: deception. I couldn’t care less about what happened to Brook and Ronan. They had little to no personality besides being rich and self important.

Girl meets man, falls in crush. Years later, they sleep together–no idea how it happened. Man is the girl’s father’s enemy. They fake a relationship. And that’s it. That’s the depth of the story. Even the mystery part is resolved off page.

Even the characters themselves are self deprecating, Brooklyn seeing herself as vapid and dependent, and Ronan admiting his mistakes. They neither change nor repent, they just accept who they are. The only evolution is Brook kind of standing up for herself in front of her father, and Ronan letting passion and love override his carefully planned future.

The sexy times weren’t even that sexy. I felt like I had read those scenes before–maybe even in one of the authors’ books. I guess humiliation and dominance aren’t my thing anymore.

There were a couple of interesting scenes, at least. Ronan losing control was one of them; it may have been the only time I felt something for the characters. Also, Mr Michael, a side character, had nice interactions with the main characters, kind of like a mentor.

It feels like both authors parodied themselves. I’m not sure I’m interested in reading the next book.

Quickie

- Series: standalone
- Hashtags: #billionaire romance #age gap #enemies to lovers #fake relationship
- Triggers: emotional abuse, mention of cheating
- Main couple: Brooklyn Chambers & Ronan Wolf
- Hotness: 4/5
- Romance: 2/5
- + the passion Ronan sometimes showed
- – poor little rich girl

With this cover I sort of expected something else...

The positive thing is this book is a quick and steamy read 🔥
It starts off with MCs having sex, which is a bit unexpected, so immediately I thought it would jump to the past in the following chapters. It didn't - there were couple of flashbacks but aside those, nothing. Chemistry between MCs is therefore practically nonexistent and both of them aside are super unlikeable. To my utter disappointment there was no middle ground, where they would develop deeper feelings for each other. It jumped straight to the 3rd act breakup, both suddenly acting like they are in love. He went from calling her his whore (which I liked btw 😇), whom he didn't even trust to her being all of sudden love of his life. From 0 -> 2000 in 5 seconds, mindblowing change, I'll tell ya... 🤯

The idea for this plot is pretty interesting - the taboo of him being a professor, and her his student... Well the execution failed. There are even some inconsistencies in the scene details, obviously because two authors worked on it. Better pay more attention to the edits next time...

I spread her legs open for me, licking my lips in anticipation of what was to come.
Her.
All over my face.

After Ronan and Brooklyn's one night stand they find out someone has been filming them and send their sex tape to the university where Ronan is a professor at, while Brook's father is the dean of and his daughter is about to transfer to. In effort to blow off the scandal, they decide to pretend to be engaged.

I was so in love with that premise. Unfortunately, it didn't give me what I would've wanted or expected.

I definitely warmed up to the story as it went on. At first I thought Ronan is just an asshole and a prick and I hasn't a fan, but he really grew on me and I ended up liking him. Brooklyn, on the other hand, I was having a hard time trying to empathize with her. She really didn't want to be percieved as a spoiled brat, but she wasn't doing much to change that. And she honestly was just a rich girl, in my opinion.

I think, because I just didn't like Brook, I couldn't see why Ronan started to develop real feelings for her. I honestly don't see a quality in her that would be worthy of falling in love with. To me, she wasn't giving him much of a reason, but love is blind, I guess. (I really don't like spoiled rich people if you can't tell.)

I'd like to see more of a relationship development, I think the story would really elevated if the characters were given more of a backstory, and not just tell and no show, like we got here. I just don't think that Brook and Ro knew each other enough to be so in love. I'm just not entirely convinced.

Enough complaining, now onto the things I enjoyed. The romance reading scene was 🤌🤌🤌. I think it was fantastic and I hope to see more authors implement such micro trope in their novels.

The angst was so good. It really upgraded the story for me. It made me feel things, the hurt, the distress. Just amazing.

Overall, I've read it in one sitting, which is unusual for me. The story is fast paced, very smutty (pretty rough sexy times). If a lot of lust in the book is your vibe then I'd recommend.

What to expect:
- billionaire romance (they're both rich)
- fake engagement
- professor x student
- age gap (22 & 35)
- Gossip Girl vibes
- family drama

I’m a big fan of both Willow & Monica so when I heard they were writing a book together, I was so excited and let me tell you… they have delivered an incredible, seductive, delicious and downright dirty story that had me hooked from page one!

Brooklyn is a young rich socialite and she is also the daughter of the Dean at the University where she’s enrolled and Ronan is a professor at the same university. He’s very well known and has an extremely wealthy family who socialise in the same circle as Brooklyn. There has been some tension between both families for a while. A family rival.

This plot was an Insta-list/love. The story starts with Brooklyn and Ronan hooking up.. not knowing they are being recorded while doing so, which leads to the recording being released to be used against them. In an attempt to save their reputation and to save Ronan’s teaching job, they come up with the idea to lie and fake an engagement.

While faking this engagement, they set out to find out who is against them and trying to bring them down, but the more time they spend together, the more their attraction, connection and chemistry grows between the two of them. Is there more than just sex between these two?

This book was STEAMY and the plot was thick. Which is why I love both of these authors. They bring the heat but also know how to add in a plot that will have you feeling every one of your emotions.

This book was AMAZING! I cannot recommend it enough!

5 STARS!!!

If I didn’t have work, I would have finished this in one sitting!!

Come Here and Kiss Me follows Ronan Wolf and Brooklyn Chambers. This is an age gap (10+ Years), fake dating, professor/student (she wasn’t his student), family rivals, enemies to lovers trope. I enjoyed the book. Rich kid school with a scandal, trying to figure out who released the scandal to the school and to the other people in their world.

The book had 30 chapters and I felt like there could have been more with how fast paced it was at times. By the time I was done with the book, I was left with wanting more.

I loved the steamy scenes and well just the scenes with Ronan and Brooklyn together in general. I definitely felt their chemistry starting with the prologue but the I love yous felt… off to me. Maybe because it was too soon and too fast paced at the end?

Thank you Wildfire Marketing, M. Robinson, and Willow Winters for providing me with this ARC for my honest review.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“You bought me a star?”
“I named it after you.” …. “I wanted to buy you a constellation, but they said they don’t allow that.”

I want Professor Wolf too,ok. He bought Brooklyn a f***ing star, played a book scene with her…and more 😄

I love it!! With very first chapter…first sentence even, it got so hot. 🥵

Ronan and Brooklyn are amazing.
Ronan, a successful man, powerful, uni professor, also enigma.

Brooklyn, a student so determined to prove to everyone that she is more than what everyone thinks of her - before scandal and even more after. Scandal that born her fake relationship with Ronan but soon the whole thing became so real.

Both fought the invisible war with someone who wanted to destroy them but at the same time with their own feelings…and s.e.x was never a problem. They were addicted to each other that they needed „a storm” to get them to the point where they knew that being together is what is right. That together they are stronger….against anyone and anything.

Quick and steamy! I liked it but it was hard to love the characters, it felt like there wasn't much plot and the authors wanted to focus on the spice instead.

Brooklyn and Ronan are both from the NY elite and their families hate each other because of some business dealings in the past. They had met a thousand times before but didn't really interact or know each other. Now Brooklyn is attending the university where her dad is the dean and Ronan is a professor. It all starts with them hooking up one night at his bar after hours and the next morning there is a recording of their sexcapade that's sent to the board. Honestly, it was all a little confusing even at the beginning, I felt like I missed a prequel or something.
Anyway, to save face they pretend to be engaged, move in together when Brook's dad takes away her apartment, and go on with their relationship that's fake but the great sex is very much real.

I could get into it even after the slightly confusing beginning but there were some annoying plotholes and I couldn't care less about the MCs character development, because it was disappointingly not much.

Ohhhhh.
This book. (fans self)
It starts off with such a bang (literally)
Once you come down off the high of one of the hottest scenes I have read in a looonnnnggg time the story picks up pace and just keeps running all the way to the end.

Brooklyn and Ronan are layered and complex characters in a world that is trying to make them very very flat people. They should both be flawed people that are instantly unlikable without any redeemable qualities or worth, yet, you see from the get go that there is more to each of them that meets the eye.

The layering of the suspense, stalking, and whodunit is also utterly gorgeously written. I'm a mystery/thriller fan, fully raised on Agatha Christie novels and this book had me guessing, solidly landing on a suspect, rethinking myself, coming back to the suspect I liked and then the plot twists. These authors as a writing duo are an utter power house.

I enjoy these author's works on their own, but writing together these women make an phenomenal pair. This book hit all of my wants and needs in a book and all of the things I look for in my seemingly unredeemable unlikable characters and then some.

Here is what worked for me character wise.
Brooklyn is a college aged blonde Gossip Girl like character; or at least that's the role that her social circle and her father have allowed her to play. Even Brooklyn isn't sure what she is capable of or of who she really is. Frankly as a reader I wasn't sure of who or what Brooklyn was capable of either until about 70% of the way through the book. I knew that she has an incredible heart with the capacity to love, forgive and see others for whom they are. She has never been asked what she likes, or what interests her. Ronan begins to be the first person in her life who challenges her in these areas and asks these questions. When she doesn't have ready answers, he is okay with her not knowing. Even her closest best friend doesn't allow her this grace and instead pushes her off as a failure and a ditz. I also liked how Brooklyn's anxiety, her depression and her coping techniques the good, the bad, and the ugly were all portrayed. This is a woman who has been told her entire life she is a worthless pawn on a chess board that she doesn't own, will never own, and could never in her future even perceive to earn a true spot on. In all reality this is a person who should be in one of two places - either deep into addiction and in need of some long time inpatient therapy, or exactly as Brooklyn in portrayed on page. My hats off to the authors for the research, the writing, the grace and the kindness they granted Brooklyn and her character arc. It was brutal. It was truthful. It was raw. It was real. THANK YOU.

Ronan is another character that I swung back and forth on as well. He took longer for me to like. I really wanted to push him off Aspen's balcony a time or 15. His character arc took much longer to play out, but again, these authors held him very very true to his own demons. In true theater tradition they wrote Ronan to character which is why I did wind up loving him so much. Ronan and Brooklyn aren't so different at the base of their origin stories. Both are children who are raised being told by their parents how unworthy of love, time and human compassion they are deemed.
These are humans who are raised behind closed doors being told in every interaction exactly how worthless they are from the minute petty spiteful levels up to the harsh large range vocabulary words that a doctoral level English professional would use. They both also see their parents gaining joy, happiness, and utter fulfillment in taking from others, destroying others, and being as destructive as they possibly can.
Again both Ronan and Brooklyn had a few different ways these upbringings and model behaviors could have swung them. Brooklyn self withdraws and has other self based behaviors that she turns to.
Ronan turns outward, which is the more standard of behaviors we see in society. Using his anger, rage, and ruthless intellect, he begins his early adult life mimicking his father. Ronan however soon learns the lesson that - empty doesn't fill empty. Where his father never grows beyond the petty and the spite, Ronan slowly begins to grow into self actualization and changes his ways of doing business and treating the greater world. That is about the point in his character story that this book begins at.

Then the master use of the suspense and the mystery of who would want to so brutally and horrifically destroy not only Ronan, but Brooklyn as well, swells and builds around this. I'm very thrilled, delighted, ecstatic and the rest of the thesaurus that these authors held fast to this line of their story and didn't let it waver, didn't let it fizzle and indeed made it as strong as the romance they were writing.
These women have written such a strong suspense with their romance that it is a jewel. They then turned it and used it brilliantly in both of their main characters' arcs and used it in such a well crafted way to bring about rock bottoms, grovels, forgiveness. I could only wish that my mind might turn out something so.....devious, simple, twisty and yet - something I never expected was coming. SO well done.

These things added in with the side characters and a world frothing with other people you shouldn't want to like but now I'm curious about and I'm hooked like the romance junkie that I am.
I want and need more.

Luckily for me, the authors have noted at the end of this novel that they will be writing a second stand alone in this world.
I have that noted on my TBR as - addicted romance junkie.

Well done ladies. So well done!

The spice started right off the bat on page one!

Brooklyn, the dean’s daughter is caught on a sex tape with Roman her professor. Who leaked the tape?

Both Brooklyn and Ronan come from terrible, domineering fathers that have tried to control them their entire lives.
Now they have gone too far!

A fun, quick read filled with angst, spice and a sweet romance story.

From the eye-catching cover to the intriguing synopsis, Robison and Winters deliver a steamy enemies-to-lovers romance in Come Here and Kiss Me. Filled with secrets and betrayal to keep you hooked from beginning to end.

Having grown up among the wealthy elite, Ronan Wolf, is used to getting what he wants. Until he first laid eyes on Brooklyn Chambers, that his life starts to take a different turn. Not only is Ronan a professor, but Brooklyn also happens to be a student at the university he teaches. Though their relationship goes way back as their two families have had a feud with one another for many years. It only took one night together to threaten Ronan's career and for the feud to start unraveling before their eyes. But as he slowly begins to trust in Brooklyn, the harder it becomes to let her go. He has to make the tough decision in order to keep her safe no matter the cost.

Brooklyn has always been attracted to Ronan, he is an enigma that keeps pulling her in. She is aware of how their relationship will be frowned upon by everyone around them and Brooklyn is ready to stand up for herself, no matter the consequences. She slowly begins to trust in the only person who has stood up for her and realizes that she could end up getting her heart broken in the end.

I really enjoyed reading Come Here and Kiss me, the characters were raw and their relationship was magnetic. It’s evident of how much they like each other from the very beginning, then they are forced to face their pasts and those around them. They don’t quite trust each other and it takes them time to slowly rely on one another. Ronan becomes protective over Brooklyn while she starts to feel free around him. There are obstacles that they need to face and they are able to overcome them in the end. All in all, the story was solid and I would recommend checking it out if you like the enemies-to-lovers trope. :)

Come here and kiss me

Brooklyn, the deans daughter. Ronan, the hot professor and her (should be) enemy. After a night of what they thought would be a secret hook-up is exposed to the university board, Ronan has to decide if he is going to ruin his career or use his exposure to his advantage to get under the skin of the dean of the university.

While Brooklyn and Ronan act like they can’t stand one another, that can’t be further from the truth. They take their exposed night of passion and turn it into a fake engagement that eventually turns into love. The chemistry between these two is fire but of course, coming from M. Robinson and W. Winters, I expect nothing less than explosive chemistry and fiery passion from their characters.

This was a fast paced novel and I read it in a night. I loved Brooklyn and her sassy personality and Ronan with his stoic personality. They were opposites that absolutely attract and I highly recommend this book if you want a quick and spicy read!

““You’re nothing but the forbidden fruit I want to fuck,” he whispers against my lips.  I open them slowly and wait for his to open before responding. “And you’re nothing but a mistake I can’t get enough of.””

This book was a spicy age gap romance between a professor and the Dean's daughter.

I thought this book was okay! It had plenty of spice and touched on interesting themes, such as feeling neglected by parents. Despite their commonalities, I didn't feel a deep connection between the main characters. They have been longing for each other for years, but also don't trust each other because their families are at odds. It was a bit conflicting and hard for me to believe at times. I didn't see how they could both have a crush and think the worst of the other. I also didn't love the miscommunication trope. The FMC is young and doesn't express her true feelings at times, and the MMC who is 13 years older than her does the same. Ughh.

Overall, it was an alright read. A spicy and short age gap romance!

Brooklyn and Ronan are forbidden for so many reasons but temptation has never been so sweet!

This duo doomed to fail from the start! There was no way that these two could deny their attraction. Their push and pull was so angsty and when they finally gave in….DANG! It was beautiful! So much heat and sexy times I couldn’t get enough! If only the ones who wanted them apart could just go away!

This duo was a fabulous pairing because they wrote a phenomenal book with amazing characters! Cannot wait for more!

I enjoyed this story.
Brooklyn and Ronan share an intimate moment and get the ultimate betrayal. The revenge starts out as fun for Brooklyn and a way to help save Ronans job.
The events after turn serious fast. Not only in their feelings for each other, but in betrayal. Both characters get screwed over repeatedly, but through the horrible actions going on around them, they grow closer together.
Excited to continue with Aspen’s story.

I loved this forbidden romance! Professor Wolf is every college girls dream, and Brooklyn wants to keep him. You keep guessing who leaked the video and what they will do about it. I melt for a possessive mmc and hea. I'm always looking for an easy read to fill in the day before a book I'm waiting on releases. This is perfect and extra spicy!!

Come Here and Kiss Me💋

Okay, first up I loved Brooklyn and Ronan’s story…but I want a Mr. Wolf of my own❣️

This story starts out a little differently but takes on a whole new emotional spin as lies and betrayals are uncovered. Kept me enthralled and I can’t wait for Aspen’s book next😍

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my honest review❤️

I was really looking forward to this book. The Queen of Angst aka M. Robinson is always an author that I read everything.

Unfortunately, I found the book was bad. At least it was a quick read. The story, the romance between Brooklyn and Ronan, felt off. I didn't feel the connection whatever. Also, there is a name he calls her, and for me in noway, can it be a positive when it's derogatory and degrading.

I loved this book! Gives me gossip girl vibes! Loved the pet names! Spicy from the first page! Loved Ronan and Brooklyns story! The plot was not complicated but entertaining and kept my attention! My first read by these authors! Will be reading more of their work!
