I thought this would be a silly IP book that Disney commissioned to get more money from Star Wars fans. And maybe that's what their intentions were, but, boy, did they hire the right writer and illustrator for the job. I genuinely loved this book for its message, silliness, nostalgia, and illustrations. I highly recommend it for any Star Wars fans.

Gorgeous! I'm swooning for the lush illustrations and crying over the heartfelt words. The "voices" of Han and Leia are perfect. Their tone. Their banter. Their tempers. Their passion. It's all saturated into this compact story.

Perfect for a wedding, anniversary, or any opportunity to tell someone you love them. Recommended too as a companion to The Princess and the Scoundrel also authored by Beth Revis.

This is marketed in the children's section...but to hell with that. This absolutely gorgeous work of art & writing is a reminder that we geeks and nerds first learned the lessons of love from a scruffy looking nerf herder & a beautiful princess...and we are all eternally grateful.

The art, y'all. THE ART. I definitely picked this up because of that cover and was not disappointed in either the rest of the art or the reflection on love. Han and Leia have always been one of my favorite ships. Though, I will admit (is this still a spoiler? I don't know, anyway...) I will admit that this little book hurts more knowing that, for Disney canon, Han does leave her. That they can't make it work. So I'm choosing to believe this book is set in the old Legends EU where the two of them work it out and stick together (LIKE THEY SHOULD HAVE IN CANON, DISNEY). This beautiful picture book is definitely worth picking up for any Star Wars fan.

One of those classic quotes from the original Star Wars trilogy turned into a cute children’s book about love. Such a sweet read that all Star Wars fans would enjoy and appreciate, told from Han’s POV . The artwork is so pretty and the story is really cute. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend for any teacher’s looking for a possible non-traditional Valentine’s Day book or parents who love Star Wars and want to influence their children into enjoying Star Wars too!

I could not love this book more. I love the Princess & the Scoundrel so I was super excited for this kid’s book. As a cosplayer who cosplays Leia and specifically wedding dress Leia, I will consume any Leia content. This book is so cute and adorable. It’s a must have in that Star Wars book collection

Idk about you, but I feel a little cheated that we never got to see Han and Leia's wedding onscreen. Enter: this book! Re-live the nostalgia of the iconic couple's love story with breathtaking art and plenty of adorable Ewoks. This Star Wars book is very short, but it's A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! The words are sharp and very carefully chosen. The artwork is to die for! And there are a few surprise cameo appearances too! (Including an appearance by one of my all-time favourite characters from the expanded universe.)
