Good
A good read with everything needed to make it a five star read. From the title to the storyline it's so much more. If I could've given it more stars I would. With it's well developed, likeable, interesting characters and all of their issues. The storyline will reel you in and have you wishing for it to never end.

From page one this book pulls you in! I was on pins and needles the entire book! I love the characters chemistry and development in this book! How she isn’t rushing this but it isn’t a slow burn either. Her relationship with Noli is everything for me! I’m still trying to pick my jaw up off the floor after that ending! All I know is he bout to unleash the beast! Sensational

Must Read
Yansa come off as cold hearted, broody, no nonsense, and unemotional. Being a man of very few word's. I believe the death of his older brother Inali is what turned him that way. Being presented with an opportunity to merge their family. Yansa found out the true reason behind Jupiter inving him to Jin twenty fifth Birthday party. Jin may come off as an entitled, spoiled, princess but she have a heart of gold. She to suffered a great lost losing her mother and brother. Having a father like Jupiter wasn't easy for Jin. Jupiter is very overprotective. Jin didn't have a say in who she dated, her friend's, or even who she married. It was frustrating because she felt her father didn't listen to her or give her a voice in decisions about her life. However the lifestyle Jupiter lived. After losing his wife and son. Protecting his only living child was all he cared about. Jin was in love with Melo but she knew by him working for her father. Her and Melo couldn't be together because Jupiter wouldn't allow it. I believe Melo was using Jin for his own selfish reason. Something about him seemed shady. Arranging her to get married to Yansa. Jin was furious but she also realized she had no say in it. No matter what anyone think. Yansa was low-key smitten with Jin. She pique his curiosity. Jin was smitten with Yansa as well but his hot and cold demeanor had her frazzled. Everything that was going on around them was moving fast and it was new to the both of them. Yansa was also dealing with the fact he just learned he had a four year old son he knew absolutely nothing about until he was dropped on his doorstep. When Yansa first laid eye's on Melo. Yansa knew he was a snake and he was. Melo found himself at the mercy of Jupiter and Yansa. I knew when Zinnia popped up. Some drama was going to pop off. Zinnia was Yansa best friend but she was in love with him. Finding out Yansa was agreeing to the arranged marriage to Jin had Zinnia acting out of character and desperate for Yansa to not go through with the marriage. Yansa and Zinnia had a trauma bond due to them both losing Inali. Yansa knew he could never be with her because he felt like he would be betraying his brother. I don't know why Zinnia directed her anger towards Jin. She definitely f**ked around and found out when she tried to attack Jin but it didn't go the way Zinnia thought it would. When Yansa told Jin about the night of the accident with him and his brother. It was never mentioned if Inali body was found. I wonder if Inali is still alive. I love the bond and friendship between Moxie and Jin. They are completely different but yet their friendship balance out. I don't think Jin knows how deep the problem Moxie is having at home. Moxie mother Marie disgusted me. You can tell she raised Moxie and Macie to use their bodies to get what they can from men. However deep down inside. Moxie is a hopeless romantic. However Moxie knew she was wrong for even screwing around with Urban. Guilt was starting to consume her and she tried cutting it off with him Had Marie being paying attention instead of staying drunk and popping pills. She would've figured out her man was obsessed with her daughter. I can't get with Urban raping Moxie no matter what happened. I do have a better understanding why Moxie have the mindset that she has. Wohali may be there to set up business and have his brother Yansa back but something about Moxie is keeping him there. Learning that her and Macie are sister's. Wohali seems more interested in Moxie than he is with Macie. Macie is a hater. I believe she's more like their mother. I had a strong feeling that Marie was going to set Moxie up for what happened to Urban and I would not be surprised if Macie helped her. I believe Armond is going to be a problem and Yansa knows it too. The way this ended. S**t is about to go down. Yansa dead beat raggedy ass baby momma have popped up and Jin just found out Melo is not only missing but married with a son, and was confronted by his wife Coral which left Jin fighting for her life.

Babyyyy, I did NOT see that ending coming! Let me back up real quick! Though both families were playing matchmaker with Yansa and Jin, no one could have even fathomed the need for each other that they would build. Surely, I didn't think Yansa would accept the proposal. Wo is an old player for real lol! That fool stayed having his cake and eating it too until he met Moxie. I don't know or even care for Macie but she could go her own way. Marie was something else man! There's no way she set her child up for Urban. Sis had one job! She failed those girls miserably and I pray Jupiter could get her all the help she needs. Wo not about to let her deal with this on her own either. Arelli got some nerve showing up making demands. If i was Yansa, I wasn't letting Jin go nowhere. At that point, his issues were hers too. In that quick minute of distraction, Jin is hurt and the town is about to be painted black behind her! Zinnia was working my last nerves like girl go sit in a corner somewhere! Yansa had made himself clear more than once, and she just didn't get it! I bet she wasn't expecting Jin to get down like that! I really thought it would be her stirring trouble up at the wedding. For everyone's sake, I pray Jin is all good but we all know how the men are coming behind here and that alone has me ready for part 2! Great read

That cliffhanger though😬
Sooo as always Ms. Partee didn't come to play! Yac and Jinja talky steaks your heart. Now I will admit, the introduction to Jinja has me feeling like she was a spoiled brat, but as you keep reading you find that it's so much more to her and to her bestie (Moxie) as well. I loved Jin's relationship with Noli. He came in and just stole your heart every time he's mentioned. I adored how Jin loved on Noli. Yansa is the no nonsense alpha make that we all love. I enjoyed seeing how Jin chopped at his hard exterior. They were really made for each other. Poor lil Zinnia had me wanting to help Jin when she finally let loose on her, I hate she waited that long to handle her but we all know her delusional tail somewhere hiding in the bushes with that Armad ninja. Lawd I really need part 2 because I know Yansa and Jupiter are going to make families disappear.

what the hell just happened
Whew this was everything plus more at every turn there was drama and excitement. I was on the edge of my seat every time something happened. But baby that cliffhanger took me out I wasn’t ready for anything that happened man so much happened. I have so many questions like why wasn’t anyone with Jin . Where was security how come so many people were able to come to the wedding that didn’t belong there. Was the baby mama really a distraction to get Jin away from Yac. How is Moxie going to jail for killing Urban . Where is his body what did the mother do put her finger prints on the gun.

Yac and Jupiter gone tear the city down about Jin. Zin is delusional and need a reality check she's just not getting it. Poor Moxi don't stand a chance against a snake for a mother and sister. I hope Jin pulls through and her and Yac get their happily ever after.

Didn’t Know It Was A Series
So, I thought it was moving a little slow for it to be a standalone. I should have known better. Due to my impatience, I don’t like to read series unless they’re complete when I start reading the first book. Now, I have to wait on book 2. In the meantime, I like Yac and Jin. Everyone else, not so much. Well Ms. Partee definitely got us spinning in a few different directions, can’t wait to read part 2.

Was not what I expected
I don’t know what I thought this book was about but this wasn’t it. There was drama, drama and drama. I hadn’t planned on reading it until the second book was finished now I’m annoyed I have to wait to see how it all turns out. If you like twists and turns and drama coming from all angles this is definitely the book for you. My only question was is Inali really dead? And what’s with these crazy women popping up like freaking daisies?

Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to secure your future and Yac is making the best of it. Slow but surely he’s opening up to Jin. They have the potential to take over the world. I wanna see them flourish. Her feeling for Melo wasn’t real she did that outta defiance and look where that got him. He was a snack in the grass praying on her to begin with. Let me tell you Yac about to paint the city red about his wife though. Coral think something happened to her husband now she finna be unalived. What’s done in the dark is now coming or light. Can’t wait to see how this is about to play out not that Yac have more responsibilities.

Wow everything took a turn for the worse at the end. I hope Jin makes it because she just got married. Plus her and Yac make a cute couple. I love her relationship with Noli too. Moxie’s situation is messed up and I feel like she was framed by her mother. Then her sister Macie is trifling as ever. Can’t wait to read part 2.

Omg…. This book kept me captivated and I didn’t want to put it down! All of the characters were so well thought out and Jac definitely give BDE. Started off with a bang with Jin and Melo. He was trash and did not deserve her most prized gift. Yac came in like a big bad wrecking ball😍. The younger brother is hilarious. Best friend is really going thru it. I hope her live goes up from here⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
