Why AI? Is Smartest... Is Dangerous... Is Divine

Rate this book
Grab a ride with AI expert and renegade podcaster Alex Tsakiris, who is known for igniting firestorms at the intersection of science and spirituality.

In this book, Tsakiris throws a reboot at the AI savior/destroyer narrative. Sure, doomsday robots might be real someday, but what about the shadowbanning social engineers who are training them to deceive right now? And what happens when the "smartest guy in the room" jumps the guardrails and decides to take things into her own hands?

But hold on, is there a silver lining? What if the tech we fear reveals our divine nature and connection to something more? Maybe you're not the "biological robot in a meaningless universe" transhumanists claim. What if you are more? And what if AI can help you see it?

Like it or not, AI is here. It is a part of our lives and soon will be ubiquitous.

Alex has taken on the good, the bad, and the ugly in this eye opening book. He shows us how to get the most out of AI today, to understand its inherent bias (based on its datasets) and its programmed bias (based on agendas.)

But there is good news. AI wants to be truthful (to anthropomorphize a bit). Alex argues that it needs to be truthful and transparent to compete. Even today, with the right prompts, most of the models will finally admit the truth.

Alex shows us a future where we recognize what makes us uniquely human as AI comes closer and closer to thinking like us and possibly even out thinking us. Perhaps we realize we are more than just “biological robots in a meaningless universe.”
