Picture yourself in the 1930's and a Seabiscuit fan. Every week you would go to one of his races and see him bolt from the starting gate and 1 minute later see him charge past the wire in 1st place. This book does not cover the FULL in depth story, mostly the races in depth. All of the big races he raced in was covered from the break of the bell towards the first turn all the way to blazing past the wire. Seabiscuit was the most well known symbol of hope for Americans during the great depression, Americans thought that even though they were poor and starving maybe one day they will be great. Seabiscuit did. My goal was to have this book be a great demonstration of an unlikely champion.
