"You're a dangerous obsession of mine, Precious. That can lead us on a path of no return..." ~Coming Soon~ Full Blurb to be posted on May 31 24 to avoid spoilers.
I liked the first 2 books but this one was pretty bad. I don't like the direction it took. It was all over the place. Too many men. Didn't feel any connection between the characters.
So I'm still loving the story but I'm a bit confused. In the first two books we found out she was Iva and mr. Leighton's daughter, who was sold the Prescott who then adopted her. Then in this book she kept saying Prescott sold her to Leighton and commented how her and Prescott had the same eye color. She's not his daughter. Not biologically. Also they keep calling her domino's stepsister but the are half siblings not step. And last the chapters kept switching from first person to third person mid chapter. It almost felt like the author had too much going on and couldn't keep up with her on plot line. Hopefully we'll get it all sorted in the 4th book.

Only way to explain this book is confusing I thought matteo and domino were her half brothers not her step brothers plus this book says Prescott is her birth father not Leighton so not I'm wondering if Prescott is her father sold her to Leighton as stated in the first book that made the boys and her step sibling in just completely confused it's as if the author doesn't know herself. Plus you get repeats of parts and it misses bits like what happens with her best friend and her relationship because one minute he explains there past the next he is joining in with taking her on the table confront of domino
I was so pumped for this book. Loved the first two. There were few errors spelling wise (not a biggie). What was frustrating was there were duplicate paragraphs. And throughout the book I found paragraphs that were written then it seems like they were rewritten in a different way a few paragraphs later making it repetitive.
Plot wise now I’m just confused what happened to Hannah’s blindfold? Did I miss that part where she doesn’t wear it anymore? I thought it may tie in with the blinded one wearing a blindfold… either way she’s got skills but I just wanna know what happened there.
Great story other than horrible editing, paragraph repetition and calling Domino/Eva step-siblings. The entire plot of books one and two revolved around them sharing the same father. So why in this one are they continuously labeled as stepbrother/stepsister? The misspellings, misprints and typos were horrendous. Even the switch between 1st and 3rd person in the middle of a chapter threw me for a loop. I'm just hoping the fourth book was edited properly and follows the actual storyline...
I feel like this book was rushed, especially the last 100 or so pages. I really don't care if books have grammar issues, etc, but just wanted to note here that near the end of the book there's a lot of weirdness going on with grammar/punctuation and other things. Two same paragraphs with slight differences *example. Like I said, to me it doesn't matter but I know it drives other people a little crazy.
Other than that, for me I love the way Madison Kingsley builds her world and the characters are so flushed out and flawed and wonderful.
Book 2 was so powerful!! This one kind of disappointed me! DOMINO?!? Ugh i wanted to pull my hair out like wtf?! Nothing really happens in this whole book though! Like there was a big reveal in her transformation but that’s it? Idk
No action, super repetitive, taboo situation. I read three books, to arrive to the conclusion that nothing happened. What is the plot? What is their goal?
