Gael fell in love once and swore never to go through that pain again. But what happens when the one who broke his heart reappears?
Gael Clarke has never forgotten the pain of his first heartbreak. It left his life a wreck, cost him his family, and nearly ended his life. Vowing never to take that risk again, he’s dedicated himself to his work as the manager of the new Omega Youth Center, a safe haven for Omegas that is shielded from the pressures of the outside world. It’s the perfect place for Gael to hide away from the world.
The perfect escape until Heath Kincaid arrives, that is. Heath is a rich, powerful, and handsome investor, looking for a new charity to support. He's also the man who broke Gael's heart all those years ago, leaving him broken and desperate. When Heath discovers Gael now has a child, he does the unexpected and asks for Gael's hand in marriage.
Heath already destroyed Gael once, but he offers the safety and security Gael lost all those years ago. Can he accept Heath's offer but withhold his heart? Or will he foolishly fall once again for a man who only proposed marriage to fix a past wrong?

This book is low-angst, feel-good fun. It's the perfect next book to this delightful series. Gael is an omega who has recently been promoted to the manager of the Omega Youth Center, a new branch in the organization that supports disadvantaged omegas. He's a single father of a 9 year old son who is doing well, but he's also struggled financially, been homeless for a while, and is estranged from his entire family. Heath is a wealthy young man who works for his father's tech business. He was Gael's first love in high school, but believes that Gael abandoned him when he disappeared ten years ago. He had no idea that Gael was lied to and bore his child. When their paths cross again, they get a second chance at love. Can they make it this time? This is a very enjoyable book with a beautiful love handled just right.
3.5 stars. I felt this could have been a little longer and the ending with the alpha’s family was a little too easily resolved but I love this author’s ABO world and will keep reading the series. So ready for Basil’s story!
3.5/5 *shakes fists* Just like the rest of the stories I’ve read in this series this had all the makings for an amazing read but left so much to be desired. It still has the typical OTT villain and super easy resolution to the main drama.
I wanted Heath’s POV. I wanted more conversations. Heath claims to have never stopped loving Gael, has he been looking for Gael? Gael hasn’t been with anyone since Heath but what about Heath? Has he had many lovers even tho he claims he’s never stopped loving Gael? What was Heath’s reaction to listening to the recorded conversation Gael sent him between him and his dad? Why wasn’t that a bigger part considering that’s all the answers to how they lost contact in the past. Where’s the anger of being kept away from the love of his life and his child?
I loved Cliff! He was adorable. I love the characters, the A/B/O world it just bums me out that if everything was fleshed out more it would’ve been so good.
I gotta take a break from this series tho, it’s starting to feel too same-y. The same dirty talk from the alphas and the late love confessions from the omegas are becoming difficult to distinguish them apart. 🤷🏻♀️

Gael Clarke's son is his world. As a single dad and the manager of the new Omega Youth Center, he has struggled since becoming a teenage dad but their life together is good. Abandoned by his son's father and disowned by his own family, he was homeless and heartsick, and if not for the help of Dr. Walton his life may have become a tragedy. There may not be any extra money but he's made a good life for his son. Then his son's father makes a surprise return to his world. He's offering Gael the life he always dreamed of but Gael isn't sure he can trust his heart to Heath once again.
I found this story to be delightful. It's low angst and feel-good. It's one of those stories that restore your belief in true love and makes you think happily ever after is possible. I loved Gael and Heath and really enjoyed Cliff. It's tricky adding a child into a romance but this one added an extra layer of love all around. I also loved that El and Mrs. Kincaid have become close friends. Now bring on Basil. I do love the Omega Outreach Universe.
It’s been 10 years since Gael’s heart was broken by his best friend and lover, Heath. He learned he was pregnant and, deciding to keep the baby, was shunned by his family AND Heath’s.
While struggling to raise his son, Heath walks back into Gael’s life. When he learns that he has a son with Gael, Heath vows to make things up to hm by proposing. The sparks are still there on both sides.
I thoroughly enjoyed their story. There was plenty of heat and Cliff, their son, was a prominent part of the story, not just a background character.
***** POV… first person (Gael)
Standalone or series… book 7 in series CAN be read as standalone
This is another sweet story in the series. It takes you down a road that one family member thought best for his family and not caring how anyone else felt. But at it happens in real life, that person was only looking out for themself. Luckily, Gael and Heath find their way back to each other and overcome obstacles thrown at them again. Their son, Cliff, is a wonderful young man of almost ten. He takes in information like a sponge and keeps hold of it until he asks questions about it out of blue. Smart and looking identical to his father, Cliff brings a reality to the book about young love getting a second chance after not knowing why someone disappeared years ago.
This was quite a simple and easy read, with a very low level of angst throughout the story. While I genuinely enjoyed the book and found it charming, I couldn't help but feel that it could have benefited from being a little longer. A deeper exploration of the characters or a touch more drama could have added even more emotional depth and made the journey even more engaging. That being said, I still loved the story for what it was and appreciated the cozy, feel-good experience it offered. It was a light, heartwarming read that left me smiling by the end.
It was crisis-free, simple, cozy and relaxing time. Two people reconnecting, discovering their feelings again and good smart kid in background. sometimes on forefront but I didn't feel like Cliff played main role in book although he is getting to know his father. he accepted Heath in a heartbeat. The bad guys didn't do much in this book, their nasty doings already happened by the time book began and they were "defeated" easily in the end. really it is simply good story with nice pacing and writing. this was my first book by this author and I think not last :)
I liked this one for what it was. I'm a huge fan of O'Dare's TailsxHorns series, but this series just doesn't quite hit the same. But, if you're looking for easy feel-good ABO, it does the trick. Would've liked to see more "falling in love" on page, but it wouldn't have made much sense for their story.
I wish I could give this book/series more than 5 stars - and you all have been warned to not start reading at bedtime because you won't get any sleep all the books he read have all been read in one setting each time!!!! I love this story watching an entitled rich kid have a come to Jesus moments!!! Thank you one again for a great book - Lori
This is one of my favorite books in the series, Heaths father is a total asshole, so many years lost because of him , am happy he and Gael had a second chance at love with their son cliff as well. Happy A/O Family 😊✨
This one was simple, but adorable. I usually don't vibe with fast paced stories and romance, but this one had something that made it different and actually enjoyable. I adored Gael and his son, Heath was a bit too perfect but hey, they deserve a good man after going through so much.
