Oh it’s dark, baby it is DARK! But I think it could’ve been stretched a little to fully close up some open questions. This leads to a book 2, but that final chapter whoa. I’ve read a lot of dark romance and psychological thrillers, but I have never out loud said holy SH!T. Read the triggers, thinking oh it can’t go that dark- yes it can! But it has a good hook, closes some story lines but leaves some things open. Even though open story lines it was a good stop.

Wowzah! This book is sexy, depraved and gross all in one book. I love it! There's a little mystery in here and I liked how that made me want to know more and more and more...I ended up reading this in one sitting and I may have skipped a night of sleep for it. Oops.
Now the end was a surprise. A surprise I usually hate, but not in this case. This book ends in a cliffy! So I hope we get to see more of our little group.

First off, the cover is intriguing, I was captivated by it since its reveal. One look at it and I knew Into The Night would be good. This is DK’s debut novel and it delivered. Three morally grey masked men stalking a seemingly strange and introverted woman, cornering her in a haunted house!? Say no more. For a quick read, it packed a punch. We started one way and ended the other. Harley, Motley and Weston had plans for their angel, but those plans changed along the way.

I was pulled in from the beginning and I’m curious to read more about this story eventually.

The themes in this book are dark and heavy, beware of the tw before diving in.

Fantastic debut novel by DK. This is an immersive, well paced story that keeps the reader entranced from start to finish. It is incredible to see a new author with such talent and eye for detail enter the book world.

I'm blown away by Winver's strength! Also, love how all the guys have their own personality and dynamic.

Arc review:
This was a quick and fast-paced story with a solid plot and so much steam and spice. As soon as I got fully into the story, I just breezed through it. There were a lot of twists and secrets being unfolded along the way, and just as I knew what was going on, another twist was thrown in.
I really enjoyed the haunted vibes that fit the story perfectly without overshadowing it. Instead it became a part of the story and a way to bind the characters together.

Shattered glass doesn't break a mirror, all it gives you is a hundred more reflections.

The FMC, Winver Sage, left an abusive manipulating ex behind and is now starting owner in a new state. She loves Halloween, until she enters a specific haunted house, and suddenly 3 masked men are after her. I really liked Winver, she was strong and feisty, and even though she was still healing, she also wouldn't back down and be a victim again.

The MMCs, Harley, Motley and Weston, are best friends since childhood and also so much more. At a party suddenly everything changes and now Harley and the guys are at the mercy of a mysterious 'boss' who wants them to stalk Winver.
From the blurb I knew something wasn't right, but getting the full reason for the guys' involvement was just crazy! Truly psychotic… That made the revenge plot that much sweeter.

The dynamic between the guys was just great. They each had their own personalities, but the bond between them was everything - also very believable. Adding Winver to the mix was like the sprinkle on top! Seriously, she was so great - strong and feisty, sassy, she could handle her own, and I loved seeing her with the guys on their own and all together. When they were all together it just made perfect sense. And who doesn't want 3 masked men, that is all obsessed in their own way and slightly deranged?
The character growth was great, and I really loved seeing the guys (especially two of them) realizing their misjudgment of the situation and Winver and turning around. Winver was truly their angel, their light - the missing puzzle piece.

"You look so fucking sexy covered in the dirty floor. But you're going to look so much sexier covered in our filth."

There were quite a bit of banter that added some lightheartedness to the story. Overall, however, this was mostly a steamy and fast-paced story. I mean the spice!!! The group scenes were spot on, the different kinks of the different guys (Motley's kink, whew is it hot in here?!, IYKYK) and then the scenes with the guys together *chef's kiss*!

Some things could be a bit more developed but I still really felt the depth to the characters, understood their actions, the trauma of their past and really rooted for the fight for vengeance. And then the small, but still significant cliffhanger…

Winver moves to have a restart at life after enduring some pretty brutal trauma. But she later realizes this new home of hers has her being stalk€d but not one man, bit three.

The twist and turns this book takes you on are absolutely mindblowing and keep you on the edge of your seat.

I loved these character so much! Each and every one of them are so different from the other, but are perfect together.

Winver comes out in the end as a super woman. And I want to be her when I grow up 🤣

I'm 110% angry about the ending and feel like I'm face planting over the side of a mountain right now. Not sure how I'm going to withstand not having more instantly lol.

Oh this was a wild one! It wasn’t what I expected and I am so glad for it! This isn’t your typical RH romance either. Winver, despite everything that’s eventually disclosed, is a strong female lead and she doesn’t let the men just run her over.

Harley, Motley, and Weston are amazing, they are all different but together they take care of each other and eventually come together to be who Winver needs.

En réalité le livre que j’ai lu c’est “Into the night” de Theo Turpin, il n’existe juste pas sur Goodreads. J’ai pris le premier livre venu avec le même nom mdr.

En tout cas l’écriture est très poétique avec des réflexions intéressantes. C’est très descriptif mais pas trop non plus. La plume est légère avec des coupures assez saccadées mais qui font sens, c’est un peu sous forme de nouvelles mais ça se rejoint. C’est compliqué à expliquer car la construction est bizarre mais j’ai adoré ça se lit tout seul.

Jsp pourquoi mais ça a une vibe de film de Wong Kai Wai. Ce qui est loin de me déplaire :)

This has been my most anticipated read of this year by far. Let me tell you, DK did NOT disappoint. Set in a small town during Halloween, a haunted house becomes more than just a fun time of getting jump scared with friends.
I’ve been on the street team for awhile and she managed to keep SO MUCH hidden from us while still feeding us bits and pieces and I’m honestly so glad she did. I ATE this book up. I’m in love with are FMC and our MMCs. there’s three 😏 the spice was spicy while keeping some sweet pieces and aftercare sprinkled in. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. It’s still insane to note that this is a DEBUT Novel and I’m so proud of her.

Halloween lover Winver picked the wrong haunted house to go to…. Or did she?

This was a fast burn, enemies to lovers, why-choose/poly. Harley, Weston, and Motley are all best friends but they are also involved with each other. These boys have filthy mouths and it’s glorious. In comes Winver who is scared of her masked men but also not.

The plot was good, even had a PNR-ish twisty twist with Harley’s mirror lady.

Great debut novel by DK.

This was an amazing debut novel! I loved the story and the characters. The enemies to lovers was strong with this one. Winver held her own and was fully capable of keeping these men in control, even if they thought they were on top. The stalker element was well done without being over the top, and the guys kept such a good eye on her. Or did they? Fun plot twist at the end. The spice was so good! A why choose/mmmf will always be top tier to me. All of their relationships were ferocious and hot! Every naughty scene brought the heat! This was an amazing first book by DK, and I can't wait to see where she takes this group and anything else she may have cooking.

Wow I devoured this book. It's so deliciously dark and really got me in the mood for Halloween and all things spooky. This book had a definite 90s campy horror movie feel to it and the playlist was perfect.

Ohh and that cliff hanger?! I need book two!

This book is just WOW 🫨, I don’t even know what to say…….AMAZING!! I will forever fan girl for DK. This is her debut and she really killed it! 🙃🥰Winver is a badass FMC, she’s been through so much and refuses to let anyone break her. Harley a tad wounded and the “ringleader” of the men. Weston is such a good boy 😉 and Motley just helps tie it all together. All four of them together is perfection 🤌🏼 Like most great books that stick with you….this one will have you looking at minced meat a little differently. I devoured this in one sitting. It really will have you in a chokehold, so be prepared to cancel your plans or stay up all night. Totally worth it by the way!! Depraved, delicious and a little mystery sprinkled into it. I was not prepared for that cliffhanger.

Baby this was dark, twisted, and depraved. And I loved every single minute...well except for ch 20 because that was 🤢. I loved how everything that happened in everyone's past was connected one way or another. The spice was very spicy. I loved that Winver, Harley, Motley, and Weston got their revenge on the man who ruined all their lives. Or so they thought because at the end of the story, they find out that another enemy is lurking in the shadows. Can't wait for book 2!

This was incredible for a debut. This world was so fucking twisted and dark. I could not put this book down. I love a masked man and to have 3 with different personalities made this experience so much better.

Winiver is such a badass fmc and if i love one thing, its a revenge plot. She took everything with, dare i say grace? She owned every little moment until the last and I can’t wait for the next one!

Those three men have my heart going. I love Motley, Weston, and Harley so badly. Motley is so perfectly crazy, I eat it up! Weston is such a sweet little angel compared to the other two and I adore him. Harley is so dark and tortured but you can’t help to absolutely adore him anyway.

Overall, I had an amazing time!

And our FMC was a badass Queen! Her level of resilience and strength through her traumatic experiences were handled with such grace and badassery that I can only be in AWE of her. That cliffhanger is going to haunt my dreams till I get the next book

I was enjoying this book till everything was wrapped up astonishingly fast. It seemed like there would be a second book (I’ll get to that part later) with the pacing of the story till about 15% of the book was left. So many unanswered questions with the best friend, she was never mentioned again after being drugged. And why did her character slowly disappear from the story, considering how close the FMC and her were. Axel the villain was defeated easily and FAST. The plot twist of him being ian and the boss predictable. The random plot point of her dad being corrupted as Axel didnt make ANY sense, like why? What was the point of that?

I also didn’t like how the FMC did not fight AT ALL, her way of thinking was like “if i give away my body I can get some answers” which is pretty cool in the first place but the author makes it SEEM like she’s a badass w a revenge plotline, but spoiler alert it fell flat. Honestly she wasnt the worst FMC ive read, but what the author tried to execute didn’t work.

The guys were mid, like one dimensional. The hatred they had the FMC didn’t even make sense when their motive was revealed. Like your telling me youre stalking this random lady for this “boss man” that youve NEVER seen, n is threatening you with murder charges. But these murder charged have no evidence cause the bossman was the one who CLEANED it up and DID the murder in the first place…..yeah that completely checks out. Like I get he was very manipulative but you really and throughly believe you murdered her because when you hooked up she was taken. Even though through that other MMCs povs you were constantly fucking ppl in relationships. NOT to even mention not only did you believe that bs but you directed YOUR hate into an innocent woman you had no idea existed before. The women that so conveniently is being stalked by SAID man that gives you these orders without ANY explanation. Mhmmmmm this random women I am tasked to stalk and keep constant updates to give to my boss, that murdered his gf and is blackmailing me totally HAS to be the reason my life is this shitty like in what world does that even make sense.

Dont even get me started on the random “I forgive you and I’m in love with you” trope that happens not even AFTER it was revealed the FMC was a victim to Bossman but AFTER one of the MMCs had to speak up n STATE that “hey guys we shouldn’t be mad at each other, let’s all apologize to Winver (FMC) about make her life a living hell because we had no one to blame but the random women we are stalking for no reason given at all” no kidding this was an ACTUAL scene.
Dont even get me started on how the FMC holds NO malice towards them for their behavior (she does lash out sometimes about them being shitheads but that is overpowered by the “magnificent” orgasms she receives). I HATE HATE HATE in dark romances that the FMC always ALWAYS forgives or justifies her abuser just cause the sex is good or that the sex just magically overpowers her thinking. It’s actually just a lazy way of getting the characters to get together without all the lengthy plotlines to make it happen in the first place.


N finally where is the next book? Im only saying this not because I’m dying to read what happens next because there is not “next”. The villian is defeated, the characters are together, they are happy blah blah blah UNTILL dun dun dun SOMEONE ELSE IS GIVING CREEPY MESSAGES TO WINVER????????????? Oh noooooooooooooo, no cause actually why did the author add this in as a cliffhanger for another book. Like what, why drag a story with no substance to snort on? Either way there are no updates on this “second” book n I say second with quotes because the author made ZERO announcements, this is their FIRST book (no shame just stating), and their tiktok is PRIVATE. So is this book gonna happen or what, it was published May or march idk 2024 so it has been a year. Not even goodreads has this book as a part of a series.

That is all. WAIT also fym Harley and Winver can see the ghost of the dead girl in the mirror n this said ghost communicates w them and acts like this time capsule for the villain’s showdown. N it isnt mentioned again that they BOTH see a ghost, like how does Winver know what she looks like without ever seeing her. N why is it so overlooked that there’s a ghost, is this supposed to fly under the radar orrrrrrrrrrr what. Cause ik for dam well this book isnt paranormal.

Where do I even begin on this book..
I knew this one would hook me from page one, I was hooked at the first page of trigger warnings.
Who doesn't love masked men?
Add in the spooky aspect and this one is a ride!

There was A LOT to this story and it kept you going to want to know what is coming next. I never ever expected it go the way it did.
Winver and her shadows as I called them from the start, are what make this book what it is.
The unknown, the hatred, the unwillingness to give up, and of course the damn spice.
Winver will catch you by surprise after her past comes to light but also once Harley's comes out as well, phew then you are in for it.
Winver is that friend we all want. The one who will worry but also encourage you. She's confident in herself to be herself after being the subject of something that happened to her in the past.
Harley hates her. Hates his angel to no end but can't do nothing about it until.. he does. She went to them, their territory. She's free game now. Nothing will hold them back now.

The spice inside these pages was so damn good & yummy. I haven't read a why choose in a hot minute and this one made me miss them. There is so much in this book that I have barely touched the surface of it.

This is likely the worst enemies to lovers dark romance I've ever read. There's no romance, "dark" tropes that are purely for shock factor with no background or depth.
I wanted to love this book but I just can't.
It doesn't make any sense! There are a million plot holes and things that just aren't explained, the ending is rushed af AND they don't even have a good enemies to lovers shift!! It just all of a sudden goes from them hating her to bam they're in love and everything is fine with a simple "sorry" from all 3 of our MMCs!?
Also sorry but they drugged her after the trauma she went through but because they apologised AFTER finding evidence of the shit that Axel did to her she's just absolutely fine with it!? Girl WHAT!??!
Don't even get me started on the "training" they did. He held her over a balcony 20 times by her ankles to teach her... what exactly? She did TWO DAYS of training which isn't used for a single second, and then magically right as they finish training the villain shows himself and even though he knew the mmcs had turned against him he still let them be free to stand with him and gave them the drugs they needed to knock him out?? Make. It. Make. Sense.
It was such a good set up, to be let down in the last 20%, it really felt like the author had to finish writing it within a day and just rushed the ending to get the book finished.
Another part that had ZERO connection or depth... Axel is a cannibal and his name may or may not be Ian? So he kills a random waitress who's boyfriend is desperately searching for her... FEEDS THE MEAT TO THE FMCS BEST FRIEND and nothing comes of it whatsoever, our main characters and the best friend don't even find out before they kill him??? The best friend doesn't even know who Ian really is or get any kind of closure? It's not even addressed that her boyfriend would've just vanished off the face of the earth???

Winver, our FMC finds herself separated from her friends during a spooky haunted house escapade. But this isn’t your run-of-the-mill haunted house situation. No, no. It’s more like a “masked men threatening your life” kind of night.

Now, let’s talk about these masked devils. First up, we have Harley-the shot caller, the green eyed tattooed troublemaker. Then there’s Weston, the sweetest of the bunch. He’s the overthinker, the one who might fret about leaving the stove on while in the midst of a kidnapping. And last but not least, Motley-a lil’ cray, a lot dangerous. Knives are his love language, and Winver is about to learn that firsthand.

These men like to cross swords, and I like to read about it! Together, they form a devilish trio that would make any angel blush. And speaking of angels, they’ve dubbed Winver their “Angel.” Why? Because she’s the cherry on top of their revenge sundae. Sweet, vulnerable, and oh-so-playable.

The spice be spicing, regardless of the order and amount of M's & F! (MM/MMMF/FM). However, sometimes the writing feels rushed, like they’re sprinting toward the climax (pun intended), and sometimes feels immature. It also feels like there were a few plot holes.

Just when you think you’ve got it all figured out, DK throws a curveball. Twists? Check. Turns? Double-check. And that ending? It seemed like a standalone, but apparently not!

“Into The Night” is a dark and intense thriller that delves into themes of survival, desire and emotion. The novel is centred around the protagonist Harley. Harley is driven by a intense need for control and revenge. Throughout the story, we follow Harley and his friends as they navigate a world in which they are being tormented by a sinister figure, leading to power imbalances, dangerous situations and deceitfulness. Harley is torn between his dire need for revenge and his need for survival. Motley and Weston are Harley’s friends. Motely often acts as the voice of reason while Weston is a more enigmatic character.
The female character in the novel is Winver, she offers a different perspective to the chaos occurring throughout the story, when compared to that of Harley and his friends. Along the novel we see her try to make sense of the chaos surrounding her, highlighting her resilience and perseverance throughout these difficult moments.
The novel has a number of spicy scenes in which the dynamics between the characters are explored as well as the character’s motivations. During these scenes the power imbalances and complex unique relationships are depicted. The novel is a fast-paced, gripping read, with each chapter compelling the reader to read on thanks to the cliffhangers are the end of chapters.
This novel offers a deeper insight into the dark and complex aspects of human nature. This is portrayed through its well-developed characters, intriguing and gripping plot as well as spicy scenes. This read is perfect for fans of psychological thrillers and dark romance, although as always do read the Trigger Warning’s before staring this astounding read. Definitely a five star read and I can’t wait to read more of D K’s work in the future!

Not only 1... not only 2...BUT 3 HOTTIES IN MASKS? I would run just so they could catch me, or would I just run to them? The possibilities..🤤

This story had me on the edge of my seat on every page. I jumped into this without reading any trigger warnings (I never read them anyway), and let me tell you, this book had me shook a few times. There was never a dull moment. Harley, Weston, and Motley hate Winver until they find out the ugly truth of her past. The ugly truth is about to get so much worse. Ending on a cliffhanger, and I've no idea if there is a second book. It is a very rude thing to do, but I'll allow it..for now. The revenge factor of the story makes it worth it.

The knife play and hate sex about 40% through? Your girl had to go take a break to cool off 🥵

(Speaking of this..I saw a thing online the other day where someone said they just tell people they are reading a murder mystery but the only thing being murdered is that 🐱 and the only mystery is when they turn from enemies to lovers and that's the only thing I could think of when telling people about this being my current read the last few days).

Holy Molly Guacamole… What a rollercoaster this book will take you! Let me start by please saying you will gag 🤮 and cry of anger with this book, and it’s dark- DK brought all the darkness, she delivered!

I loved everything in this book, the plot and the twist and everything between it. This book follows Winver, young girl with aspirations. She ran away from a very traumatic life experience and her past came crawling back up but this time included 3 delicious guys, and when I say delicious THEY ARE! Depraved, sexy bad boys - they thought they hated her, after also going through a horrible experience and wanting their life back but they never imagine what was really the reason behind all of it.

This book is so wicked, dark, disgusting and delicious and the same time! I mean the smut is 😈🥵 will make you crawl those toes. AND ma’am the end really, now please go ahead and keep typing so you can give me more ASAP 😜!

This book. Let me tell you how much I loved it. To the universe and back. For a debut book, it doesn't act like it. DK knocked it out of the park with this one.

So it's got my favorites, masked stalkers, why choose, dark story, HEA, but a cliffhanger, and it's a doozy. We follow the story of Winver, lover of Halloween and living in a small town. She ends up with some stalkers that just want to have a little fun. Maybe. Or mess her all up.

I loved Winver. She's one tough cookie and gives as good as she gets. Her story is riddled with trauma so beware your trigger warnings. Her boys, well they've been through it too, and maybe they need to realize they really aren't enemies. Harley, sweet sweet demented Harley, and Motley, our almost equally demented boy. They are delicious. I love Axel too, but those boys, woo, you're in for a ride.

The spice was so very nice. There's some MM in there, MF, MFMM, all the goodies. There were a couple scenes that absolutely made me sweat. DK knows how to write some smut.

Overall for a debut book this is stellar and I cannot wait for book 2. It needs to be out like yesterday.
