The Bix Investigator’s do it again! Ellie, Sylvia and Zoe face the mystery of Alice’s death together and solve it before the police including Dave - Ellie’s husband the detective inspector. Starting on the beach it moves back to the village and the windmill where the ladies all live.
All the regular characters are there from the store mentioned ladies to the snooping journalist to the dogs and kittens. Set in an English village near the sea with a windmill what’s more idyllic?
This is the sixth book which could be read alone of better still read them in order!
Looking forward to book 7 later this year!!

A welcome return to this smashing cosy mystery series, which can be read as standalones. You always feel like you are actually walking into Wootton Windmill. It’s great how as this series develops we get a real feeling of a relationship between the reader and the characters. Another intriguing and well written twisting plot. Love the village base and how we get the members involved in the story. These are always a great read, especially to relax on a weekend. Strongly recommended.

The Wooten windmill series gets better and better

A gentle summer read. A local village community, established characters and a private investigator duo looking into a murder at the summer swim.

A lovely beach read for the summer, a plot that keeps the reader entertained and plenty of fur moments for us animal lovers too.

Another Very Good Wooton Windmill Mystery

I have enjoyed all of these so far. This one was very interesting and quite frankly I think most readers would not pick the murderer.
