I would be just as likely to buy this book for a teenager as for a grandmother. It's full of wonderful ideas and reminders about what makes each of us unique. Written in a heartfelt story-oriented way, it's like spending a few days with the author talking about what she's learned along the way. Well worth your time!

I read Embrace Your Magnificence when I found myself stuck between setting a vision to be a voice in the silent landscape of sibling sexual abuse and figuring out how to bring that vision to life. This book is beautifully laid out, guiding readers with vulnerability and wisdom. As I moved through the chapters, my confidence and self-belief grew. The quotes and stories resonated deeply, especially as I grappled with my doubts and worries about how I might be standing in the way of my own growth.

Fabienne’s exercises were practical and empowering, helping me open up conversations on long-held concerns from my teen years into adulthood. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a meaningful and accessible read that truly helps. Thank you, Fabienne. Though I purchased this book years ago, reflecting on my journey today, I recognise Embrace Your Magnificence as one of the key resources that helped me find my way.

I am on a self-esteem building drive and found much in here to remind me that I can dream big and it is my duty to do so :-) A feel better about yourself book with useful guidance and honest examples from Fabienne which I, personally, found helpful.

This is a fabulous book full of advice and compassion in making changes in how we speak about ourselves and others. In seeing the lessons for ourselves when we view and judge others. The Author had a difficult upbringing feeling lost and different to her peers. She takes us on a journey of remembrance of lots of conversations, through her hurt at the time to her maturity and healing of now. She shows us how to look for the lessons to see how they are reflected in our own lives. Maybe the most important message in the book is to not to judge others particularly not discussing someone who is not present.

There is a chapter on taking personal responsibility. This links with being honest with ourselves. Everything in your life exists because of your words and actions.

Regardless of your age, gender or background this book gives lots of guidance in how we perceive our own situations and compare them to others. What we can learn from this and how we can change our actions for a different or better outcome.

This book is on the must read list for anyone seeking self healing and a better way. An asset on any library or book shelf.

I received a free advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review

This was about a 3.5 star rating for me. I enjoyed the book primarily because I needed to reset my frame of mind. A few of my favorite quotes:

"You'll always be a moving target for criticism and disapproval when you decide to play a bigger game and try to do things that others are not willing to do, even when it's better for your life or for life as a whole." - pg 47

"Your chief aim in life ... is do do good and feel good. Anyone who continually robs your spirit doesn't belong in your life...Deep down inside, you know you are better without those people." - pg 52

The Trickeries of Resistance -
"The enemy is the thought that comes into your head that says, 'I know I should do it, but I din't feel like it.' Resistance is doing the thing that you know you should do, or not doing the thing you know you should be doing. It is giving in to temptation even though you've made a promise to yourself not to. It is giving in to instant gratification, a momentary fall from your commitment." - page 197

I’m a long-time fan of Fabienne’s business advice, and admire her insistence on integrity and congruence in business. It was enlightening to learn more about her as a person. She shares some pretty personal stories about her life, and I admire that. It was reassuring too to learn that as a business owner it’s certainly possible to feel fearful and anxious, that this is part of growing and learning. The book is divided into numbered sections so you could easily read one section per day. Having read it through, I’m now returning to the beginning to re-read each section with more care and thought.

A bit too long, it really took a while to get moving. A lot about manifesting and not letting fear stop you from being who you are meant to be.
