He was an ex-solider, worn and weary. She was too young for his old soul. Yet...how could he resist his own piece of heaven?
Tanner Whitehorse was a man who’d seen a little too much in life. He kept himself closed off from everyone and everything—except the horses he trained at Hell’s Gate.
He considered Heaven Stevens much too young and much too innocent for him.
But the curvy vet knew better. She knew what they could have together was a once-in-a-lifetime love. Now, she just had to show the cowboy that some things were simply meant to be.
Come visit the cowboys of Sheridan, Wyoming, where these rough and tumbled men find their one true love. If you love reading about the curvy women who turn their cowboys upside down, where happily-ever-afters are always the end result, then you've found the perfect place to visit. These books are steamy and sweet instalove (although slightly longer) romances!
Joann and Patricia are a writing team of two best friends who love to write (and read) stories about alpha males and smart, sassy, sometimes curvy, women.
I’m glad this was free and a novella or it’d be a DNF and I’d be upset for having spent money on it.
The characters are pretty one dimensional and forgettable. There’s fabricated angst about age difference and “I’ve seen things”, blah, blah, blah. I can’t tell if the heroine’s name is Heather or Heaven. Both names are used. At one point the author says the hero does a “360”. She means a “180” because the hero completely changes his mind about all the reasons he can’t be with Heaven/Heather.
It felt like there were five epilogues. I think it was just two, but it felt like five because I was so ready for it to be over. I don’t know how this averages 4 stars.
The title is so appropriate. Heaven is so in love with Tanner while he struggles with his background and the prejudice still displayed against Indian culture. Hell's Gate is where they find their personal heaven.
I really enjoyed. This. Book was very, very good. I like when they talked about her being a vet. And I thought her dog was a hoot. Really like the ending of this book.
