So, to understand how bad this book really is, I did not recognize having read and reviewed it from years ago under a different Goodreads profile (Caer Glas). My review stands, and if anything, I dislike the book even more.
Not impressed. It seems to be a bit of a slapped together job consisting of operations orders and some commentary lifted from Copp's other books w/o much insight on some of the mildly controversial aspects of Simonds' generalship. Frankly, a bit disappointing coming from someone of Copp's stature.
