WOW this book has all the feels, I love Lily, Alexander and Alexa, they really pull you in, the storyline is great and makes it hard to put down. I highly recommend this book ♥️

Holy cow this book was so good. This book had me captivated from start to finish and the ending just woke this book was everything. The way the author brought raw emotions out of me is just crazy. This book tells the story of Lily and Alexander. It left me breathless if your looking for an all consuming book this is the one for you. Highly recommend

I couldn’t put this book down and the ending made me scream. I can’t wait till the next book comes out. I loved this book. Lily’s Heart is about a girl learning the true meaning of love and receiving love in the most beautiful way!!!

Lily’s Heart is a debut novel by K A Burton and is an absolutely amazing read! I like to keep my books spicy, suspenseful with no real heartfelt emotion. Within the first few chapters I had tears rolling down my face. Lily (the FMC) has been through alot of tragedy until she hits a breaking point and makes a run for it. She is rescued by an amazing group of people. Which is how she meets Alexander Harrington, who is ex-military and has recently taken on his 4-year old niece Alexa due to her parents being involved in a horrible car accident.
As I said above, this book had me crying, feeling butterflies and falling in love with the characters. This book had all my favorite tropes- age gap, suspense, billionaire, etc.
I highly recommend this book and although it ends on a cliffhanger- it makes me yearn for the second book in the series which comes out in May 2024.

All I can say is omg… the emotions I felt during this book was insane!! This is such a well written book and I loved every second of it. I wish I could read this book again for the first time!

This book was so engaging from the very beginning. There was a nice mix of conflict, spice and romance. Most of the characters were so lovable. The moments of pain were so vivid that it made my heart hurt. You could see how deep the love and attraction between the FMC and MMC was. The ending left me in a whirlwind of needing answers. Overall this was a incredible read and I can't wait to see how the story continues.

First off, I love Alexa, she's the sweetest kid ever and I'm obsessed with her. The whole book had me saying what for every twist and turn. K.A Burton did such a great job with the suspenseful book. Lily got dealt a crap hand in life but all of that changed when she met Charlotte and Davies. I love how in this book it shows that your military family stands together with you. The fact that Lily's sister is alive and that we will see the ex Seal team rescue her and see where she has been for the last eight years is something I'm dying to find out.

This book is amazing!! There are a lot of sensitive material in this book but I have to say, what a beautiful story of survival and love!! I adore Alexa!! She is the spunkiest little commander that speaks her mind and knows her heart. Alex and Lily have immediate chemistry and you can truly feel it come across the pages. This book is so good!! I would highly recommend to anyone to read! Check you trigger warnings!

An incredible debut novel by K.A. Burton.
Elizabeth/Lily and Alexander has both dealt with so much loss, having to navigate life after losing family and becoming a parent for Alexander. But when they think that things will work out for a happily ever after, there’s dangers around the corner waiting for the chance to rip it from their hands.
This book had me on an emotional rollercoaster. I cried, I wanted to throw my kindle, I was happy. Literally so many emotions through reading this. For a debut novel, it was a great read! Lots of plot twists, character development, an age-gap, protective MMC, sweet FMC, and that cliffhanger *ALMOST* made me throw my kindle! I’m impatiently waiting for book 2! One of my favorite reads of March!

Ok, I do not say this lightly... but this was the best book I've ever read..
A book that had me cry so early on in chapter 1 for Elizabeth..
Then I cried not long after for the heartache of Alexander...
The poor little Alexa.. how you broke my heart for that little girl..
The twists... the turns.. the emotional turmoil this book put me through with its rollercoaster of emotion...
Bravo 👏 I honestly feel that this book broke me in such a way.. then fixed all the pieces back only to break me all over again...
Ms Ka.Burton, you have a top seller on your hands.. I expect this book to hit the stars... I look forward to seeing the film when your book is snatched up by Hollywood.
(Ps, I'm still annoyed with you about MAY)

What a book!!! Once I started I was hooked. Lily’s Heart brought out so many mixed emotions out of me. I cried, laughed, and got angry throughout the book. It was awesome. I just love Lily and her caring and nurturing way with Alexa. They are both so good for each other. Lily has been through so much trauma and she’s come out as a strong, brave, independent, kindhearted woman. Alex is a total Alpha protective man with his girls. This was a fast paced book from beginning to end. Although I’m not happy with that ending. It totally threw me for a loop. How could my new author give me such a cliffhanger. The nerve of her. I need book 2 pronto so chop chop I’m waiting. I will definitely read more books from the author. Congrats on an amazing debut. That is fantastic !!!!

This is one roller coaster you want to read! It does leave a cliffhanger but good thing book 2 comes in May cause I can’t wait long!

Lily’s Heart is the debut novel of author K.A Burton. It’s quite an impressive first novel and ticks all the right boxes. The hero, Alexander is very alpha and protective. The heroine, Lily is sweet and brave and they make a very likeable couple. The secondary characters are also great and I love how caring this made family is with one another.
Lily’s Heart is full of romance and danger and it’s such an easy read. I found myself not wanting to put the book down. Looking forward to Alexander’s Heart which releases in May. Highly recommended

While this book is not my typical read, it hooked me. Hooked line and sinker. Yall from the very beginning I was absolutely invested in Lily's story. My goodness this girl has gone through so much but is such a gentle spirit. I am shook and I need more. When you read this book be prepared to become obsessed. I was on the edge of my seat from page 1!

Right from the very first page, this book had me in it's grips.
As I'm not a huge fan of instalove - I did really enjoy this story. The crap 'Lily' went through, her landing in NY and meeting John; the tragedy of Alexa, to the fabulous man that is Alexander. The little family they're becoming. I just loved it all.
But, the cliffhanger, OMG I need the next book stat!!

I really enjoyed this story. There is one crazy cliffhanger. So many things are in the air at the end of this book. I cannot wait for the rest of this to develope. I cannot get over this. A lot happen in the beginning to draw you in and the end to keep you here. It is so good. Alexander and Lilys love story is quick but amazing. Alexa is just the most precious thing.

Emotional rollercoaster!! Found family to weather the tragedy of life together. I loved this book so much. I love when you get to feel all the emotions when reading and you definitely feel all that here!! The cliffhanger is epic so be warned!!

OMG, such a cliffhanger. It made me laugh and cry. I’m not a violent person but I really wanted to make that guy pay for what he did to her, not once but twice.

Overall, I did like this storyline, and I'm definitely ready for the next book. That being said, this is an insta-love story (to the max), and the interest did die down a bit in the middle for me, but jumped right back up towards the end. If you stick it out, it is worth it!

For a first book I was very impressed, I liked the storyline and characters, Alexa is just adorable every time she is in a scene. The command over the big strong men just made me giggle.

Lily’s Heart by K.A. Burton is an unexpectedly beautiful novel. Burton masterfully writes trauma and traumatic experiences in ways that feel realistic and respectful to the character. The character development throughout the book is one of the most compelling things about the book. As the characters change and evolve I developed a deeper attachment and appreciation to each of them, especially Lily the FMC, Lottie, and Alexa. The most unexpected, but appreciated aspect of the novel was the mystery and thriller elements. I was kept on my toes from start to finish and couldn’t put the book down. Since I had become so invested in the characters there were many instances where I had an emotional reaction. I was fully unprepared for the twist at the end of the book and immediately had to download book two. I highly recommend reading Lily’s Heart.
