WHEN YOU THINK YOU’RE FALLING BY AMEERA ASLAM
Have you ever experience a time when, you are so beriman that you could perform ibadah so well? Suddenly, in a blink you become a person who failed to perform as good as you did before. And you started to feel bad about yourself.
Well, this is what every muslim commonly experience and this book will tell you that it is okay to feel that way because…
1. As a muslim, what Allah wants from you is not a perfect ibadah per se, but He notice your struggle and your effort to perform all the ibadah especially because of Him alone.
2. Istiqomah is what we most needed. Sikit-sikit lama jadi habit is better than banyak terus pastu we tired to maintain. Allah acknowledge small steps but consistent than big jump but no consistency.
3. Tips to keep us wanted to perform our best is to always revamp our intention. Always go back to “why” we do this and that. And, putting Him as our BIG WHY is the best goal ever. If we are clear of this, we will keep the good work and progressing. Trust me, I tried and it works!
We may think that we are falling and failing to be a good Muslim, but honestly, as long as we still wanted to go back to Him, we are not falling, what more failing. Besides, we should be happy that Allah still put guilt in our heart when we don’t do our best to please Him. That means, He wanted us to come back to Him and He will accept us in whatever condition we are in, either sinful or blissful.
So fellow Muslim, always strive for Allah. That is our source of happiness in this world.
