The Dread Machine: Issue 1.4

Rate this book
IN THIS ISSUE OF THE DREAD MACHINE...

Start a gratitude journal, amass some followers, get the best spot on the ledge, and learn where the babies come from.

Step aside for Betobeto-san, sell your appendages, fall in love with a ghost, rob a bank, and escape quarantine for a smoke session with your friends.

Whatever you do, avoid dolls of all types, don't smile at Mona Luna, and think twice before harassing that pretty bartender.

As the editor of The Dread Machine, I'm too biased to leave anything other than a glowing review for this issue. We're extremely proud of all the writers who contributed. My personal favorites this quarter, if I'm only allowing myself to list three, are "Betobeto Teketeke" by JL Akagi (which I nominated for a Pushcart Prize), "Like an Itch You Scratch" by Daria Lavelle, and "Blood Runs Cold" by Josh Rountree. We also reprinted "Mona Luna" by Christina Ladd, which is a spectacular read!
