Hannah Ellis spent many years working in childcare before deciding she'd like to write books. When she's not busy writing she likes to read, drink tea and eat chocolate. She also enjoys yoga and jogging.
I like Ms Ellis’ Hope Cove series. I’ve started a number of books, but none grabbed my attention like this series. I was so entranced by the storyline that I spilled a cup of coffee all over when I missed the table putting it down because I was so entranced by the story. I encourage others to read Ms Ellis’ books and especially this series. There is something special about her writing. It makes me feel happy.
We’re back with the group of friends in Hope Cove. I’m liking how the later books in the series swap between each couple so we can still get a great insight into their lives. I was particularly keen to catch up with Tara and James of which whilst their relationship is blooming, Tara is still struggling with her past and the dynamics of her family life whilst having her half sister thrust into her life.
It felt very much like catching up with old friends. There is so much to keep the reader occupied with Emily and Jack’s upcoming wedding, the imminent arrival of Josie and Sam’s baby and of course not forgetting Scarlet who we got to meet in the previous book. As usual, things are never dull when it comes to her and I just love her sense of humour.
Winter Wishes in Hope Cove, although set in the lead up to Christmas, only has a slight festive feel to it. As always, the story focuses on the lives of the couples we have come to know and love. There is so much to celebrate in the latest novel and overall things are going great which of course has the reader feeling totally uplifted. If you love a wholesome and heartwarming read, you will adore this series!
Another Awesome Instalment of the Hope Cove Series
Hannah Ellis knows how to write proper continuities. Not just a passing glance or quick mention of previous characters. Her books have real immersion into all the characters lives. I love it. I can't wait til September 30th, when book 8 hits Amazon. Do yourself a favour and read the books in the right order. I think this series would also make a brilliant TV Show. I'm so glad to have found this author.
Hannah Ellis takes you to Hope Cove with all of the well developed characters from the previous books and immerses you right back into their lives and loves. Well written with enough conflict to be compelling but still be a light and lovely read. Read the series and don't miss out on this book!
This is just one of many stories in the series written about Hope Cove. It is such a lovely series about a group of friends. With extending families and friends. I can recommend reading this by the fire in the Winter or on the beach in the summer. I really couldn’t stop reading the whole series.
I have loved every single one of these books and this one was no different once I started I couldn't put it down . I love all the characters and getting myself drawn into there little world I just hope theres more .
I just LOVE this series of books! They feel like a home from home. I loved returning to Hope Cove and catching up with characters that feel like friends. Hannah’s books are so heartwarming, this series and the Loch Lannick series are just delightful. I know I will read them again and again.
This is yet another great book. I just love the way the characters are growing in numbers. This book has been unpredictable so all the more enjoyable. Scarlets revelation was so different to what I thought i5 may be. I can’t wait to read book 8
Loved the flow of lives loosely linked joining together and making sense of each other. Like visiting friends. Sometimes remembering which persons story made it a challenge.
I have been reading the series, what I love about them is the simplicity. It’s easy, when you have had a hard day and just want to get lost in a positive place.
I love when an author keeps the book real. Telling the story with all the highs and lows of life. This book hit the nail on the head. I got absorbed into it. I laughed, I cried. I enjoyed the whole series. Good job Hannah.
This is very sweet and incredibly upbeat. Hannah Ellis often looks at the darker side of relationships. This book is full of love and as always humour. Great book.
