2.5 ⭐️ This was a decent funny book full of unhingedness! The plot was very interesting, but I feel that it didn’t come together in the best way. It felt very rushed! So rushed that there wasn’t enough time to fill in the holes that were in the story.! Due to that, it missed the mark me!
every time magic had me feeling like he wasn’t shit, he proved he was 🤏🏾 much of shit. 🤣🤣 love him. I loved the way he loved fini. and how even when it seemed like he wasn’t holding her down, he was. knight???? both him and imani deserve eachother. they both dramatic and chaotic and I was living for it 🤣🤣
2.25⭐️🌶️ This book started off very good, and then it just made a turn for the worst. So much was going on. I felt like I was reading two or three different books at once. It just ended, and I have no words.
The title should definitely have tipped me off but I thought the read would be fun with and interesting spin on some well worn tropes.
Tropes: Friends to lovers BBW/Fine AF MMC Insecure BBW/Hood KingPin
The unique twist from the blurb was the FMC, Infinity, being really great at numbers and an accountant. The beginning sucks you in. I liked that Infinity's goal was to be an accountant and her and Magic were building together to get out of the hood. She had a knack for building up his numbers and giving him some stock pointers. "Dope!" I thought. But then the book took a turn...ok no biggie. Now we have some of the Trigger Warnings coming into play. After Infinity's jail stint the story turns just got more and more WTFery. And each twist was just more outlandish. The book is standalone as a novella only because so many short cuts to the story was dropped. So many transitions that were not smooth. So many character actions that would leave you scratching your head. After a while it wasn't really even fun it was just...extra.
This was a really great read. Infinity and Imani had be dealt a hard hand in life and was making the best way they knew how, along with the help of Magic. The bond Infinity and Magic had was amazing. Fin had some insecurities and self doubt that kept her from embracing their relationship more. One terrible situation changed their lives as they knew it. Fast forward years later, everything and everyone has changed and she feels like she doesn’t belong. But one thing for certain is that the love Magic had for her only intensified. Honey, Magic and Knight was a special type of madness and craziness lmao, but I loved them.
It was crazy when the truth came out and those snakes for what they deserved. They warned the right to have peace and happiness. Great job !
Talehia, Talehia, gurl ok now I was like these four are some different kind of folk. When I tell you Knight is my new book bae, he is every kind of crazy it is but baby his heart has so much love for his village. Magic as well will forever hold a place in my heart. I don't know which one I love the most so it's a equal amount of respect and love for them both even when they looked wrong they were doing right😍 Infinity and Imani were so down, I love their relationship between the two. What I really love was the love she had for Magic. Sometimes we make choices others don't understand but in the end it all works out.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
I loved everything about this book and the characters but I think Knight is my favorite😍😍. Don't get me wrong Magic is mentally unbalanced also but the things that come outta Knight's mouth especially when he talking to his soulmate Imani is hilarious. His crazy has no shame but she keeps him grounded. I love the love and bond that Magic and Infinity has and has always had since the day they met. He will move heaven and earth and remove anyone from it when it comes to his best friend and love of his life. I'm glad the Infinity and Imani got reunited with their father. I hope this isn't the end of this crew.💛💛
I enjoyed this book, it was a good read. The characters in this book was. Not what is as looking for, but loved everyone of them. Knight and infinite are good together, the fact that they were best friends before lovers make it all the best. Imani and knight was also cute together. Glad that imani, infinite, and magic were able to put their differences aside . I love how the sisters accepted dream and cared for her. I would not change anything about this book. Lucky the girls got to meet and know that their dad was alive despite all that they suffered.
This was so freaking cringe. The spice? Great. But everything else? Cringey. The characters were cringey, the plot was cringey, the really big plot twist was cringey, and the writing itself just made my skin crawl.
This gave early 2000s Wattpad like it was written by a teenager who was supposed to be doing math homework but kept pausing to update her story. It didn’t have enough substance for me. The plot could’ve been stronger, the characters more likable, and the jokes… they weren’t landing the way I hoped they would.
It started off really promising, but it went downhill fast. I truly think it could have been better but it just didn’t give what I needed it to give.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️|🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️| (Spoilers) The story was so good! It was outlined really well and the character development was on point. I LOVED how swoony Magic was. He was possessive and crazy in a good way. Also the spice was extremely good (FF, FM, and MFF). Knight was also super funny and I loved his character!
Tropes: second chances, Friends to lovers, possessive hero, groveling, touch her and ☠️
Some triggers included: Murder, attempted rape, mention of kidnapping, and drugs
Baby, This book held my attention from beginning to end. That darn Knight had me hollering everytime he came around. Infinity and Magic knew they wanted to be together, but life started lifing and got in the way ONLY for a moment. No matter how long they were separated, their love still remained true. No matter the secrets he held from her, their love still remained strong. One thing for sure is that Knight and Magic didn't play about their wives. Great job!!!
SHE DID IT AGAIN!!! Infinity did what she had to do and had her man by her side the whole time. Magic is thee man and no one is exempt when it comes to his loved ones. I loved the chemistry between Imani and Knight. He’s a fool and kept me laughing. I like how the Silverfox stepped in took care of business. These sisters definitely have their hands full with these crazy azz brothers
I never wanted a book to be longer than it was until I started on this one. I laughed soooo much. My mouth hung wide, I was turned on, then back laughing. I was clutching my imaginary pearls. The ride this book took me on, I immediately went looking for more from this author. This is my first read of this author’s work and I’m telling you it’s not my last. What are you waiting on, download it or go purchase it NOW!!! You are welcome
Crushing On My Hood Billionaire Best Friend: A BBW Friends To Lovers Tale
Talehia, this book was so very good. This was truly a great read not one dull moment in the entire book. I loved every page. The book was intriguing and full of drama, and excitement, and romance, love and erotic scenes. Those Alpha Males and the Alpha Females characters were both great. I most definitely recommend this book to the readers.
The narrative captivated me from start to finish, weaving an intricate tapestry of relationships and emotional depth. The passionate connection between Magic and Infinity, alongside the compelling dynamic of Knight and her sister, added layers of complexity to the storytelling. The unexpected plot twist at the conclusion elevated the entire narrative, leaving a lasting and satisfying impression. ReneeG
This book was so good. I mean it had drama, laughter, lying and loving. This story pulled me in from page one. Finished it in a few hours. The chemistry between Magic and Infinity, also Imani and Knight was undeniable. Manny and Lexi got what they deserved. I'm glad Infinity and Imani got a chance to meet their real father.
Wow what a Standalone Excellent job love the couples glad Knight found his brother Glad the girls father came back and stepped in how he did. True meaning of Besties in that form 😂. Knight & Imani they where meant to be and All that Magic did for Infinity wow he Bae frfr
75% of this book was great. The back 25% of this book was so confusing it made little sense.
I liked Magic and Infinity but the whole reason they met and the big twist in the book wasn’t understandable at all. It was overly complicated and just not written very well.
I wish Knight had a bigger role. He was a straight fool.
Everything ended up working out for Infinity and Imani. Magic and Knight were both crazy but just what the girls needed. People are really snakes when they don’t get their way (Lexi). She didn’t even take care of her kid. Glad Ross turned out to be the girls father. Good read overall.
When I tell y'all that the Author of this story wrote the check out this DRAMEDY. It was so amazingly written. At times I didn't know what to think or feel.
The author kept you in suspense with each episode and the comedy in between was hilarious.
When I say I laughed out loud almost the whole entire book!! Baybay!!! This was so good!! A lot of love and even more INSANITY!! Knight had me tickled so bad!!! He and Imani were perfect for each other!! And don’t even get me started on Magic and Infinity!! I will be reading this again in the near future! Yep it’s going in my REREADS ROTATION!
Knight & Magic were funny as’f 🤣 Knight & Imani were definitely made for each other. Infinity lowkey irritated me at times but she finally got it together. I was a little confused when it came to Ross & Manny and the roles they played within Magic & Infinity being together. In the end it all came together & they got their HEA 🫶🏾
I enjoy this book from the beginning to the end. I Infinity and Magic stories is exactly what every woman want. You wanna put your trust in a man and he fulfills everything you put in him their love story was so beautiful because they really was friends before they became lovers it's crazy that he had other motive when he first found her, but in the end, he gave her a soft life.
The story felt slow and some spots where it should’ve been a little more get to the point. And in other spots, it was rushed where we should’ve slowed down to. Personally, I also don’t enjoy the trapped pregnancy trope. But I’m sure somebody else will enjoy the story very much.
If toxic was a relationship goal it was everyone in this book but the baby... Love so deep is was crazy an very much over top of toxic...the pace was good and the story came together quick
This had me laughing so much. I wanted the ending to be better. Some of the book didn’t make sense but everything came together. I still don’t know how Lexi came into play
Listen, this was the funniest book I read in a long time. Knight was so funny. Some crazy stuff come out this man mouth. When he hung up on Imani and called her back because he wanted to talk to one of her other personalities 😂 I literally laughed out loud
A good read with a interesting storyline. With drama, secrets, lies, and crazy characters. I have laughed and felt all kinds of emotions throughout this read. Definitely worth the read and recommendations.
This story had so many twist and turns! I couldn’t put it down! This is a must read yall!! From the store to the uncle… I’m just like what’s really going on?! All in all a very good book!
