Imagine being the only witness to a murder, then falling in love with the killer. This ain’t your typical love story…
Nadia never thought that she’d fit in so quickly when she transferred to her new school. Nobody wants to be the new girl during senior year. Luckily love steps in & she suddenly becomes the it girl. But she never imagined she’d lose that love just as quickly as she found it.
When Nadia and Mahlik first meet neither of them have any idea how seriously their futures are connected and that they’re fated to be together for reasons beyond both of their control.
But can Mahlik manage self-control in order to keep Nadia under control? Can Nadia truly love a man she once saw as a monster? Will any of it matter when all the secrets are laid out on the table and they’re both given an ultimatum?
I really liked this one!! It has heavy content but the storyline truly pulled me in! I am so eager to know how this arrangement goes because Mahlik is a walking red flag and I feel like Nadia is settling with him. 💔hopefully her parents come around in book two.
I was going to DNF the book the moment I read first part. I hate when the author starts the book with a scene from towards the end of the book or in this case, not even a scene from this book, cause it throws me all the way off.
Anywho, the beginning was good. The way they met, etc the uncle forcing him to make her fall in love, loved it.
Mahlik being an asshole / mean / rude / abusive / the liar ? Hated it. I don’t like those attributes when it comes to the MMC.
This was a nice set up for it to be enemies to lovers with a slow burn but no.
Ain’t no way Mahlik that good of an actor that he was so in love with her and cared about her first time while hating her? Didn’t make sense,
I thought this was going to be a happy ever after with Nadia and Mahlik. This ain’t it.
I’m not going to read the other books but I did go read the reviews to see if they did end up together but they didn’t,
Starts off decent, the middle became trash and then the ending even more trash.
Nadia had no back bone. Believed everything out Mahlik mouth as if she wasn’t the one in control knowing she could back mail him if she wanted to but she wasn’t smart,.
Mahlik uncle did what he felt was best in order to keep him out of prison. Nadia coming from a recent divorce family took things as they came, with her father shipping them off her world was change but then the most popular jock came into her life and things changed until one night a hard headed boy took her happiness away now causing her to travel a road she wasn't ready for. Mahlik uncle had everything planned so the big night of being welcomed to the family it came out now Nadia has doubts on if everything Mahlik did or said was real so sad for her to be used like that.
I have ONE question: Does Mahlik really love Nadia or is it still a con? I want to get more of his perspective in the next installment. I was so mad that Nadia was so green but I’m even more mad at her parents for pushing her into the arms of someone like him. Poor Jordan, that mad me cry 😢 this is…whew. Also, how dare you start this book this way & not even touch on that topic.
Manipulation!! Mahlik and his uncle are manipulating poor little Nadia. I hate that she doesn't have any street sense and just as green as grass. I also, think something is going on with Mahlik and her friend, because why else would she be ok with her friend being hit by Mahlik? Great start to this series.
This book started off with the action! I still can’t believe this girl done married the guy who killed her boyfriend. The fact that he’s only marrying her so that she will be granted immunity from testifying against him is sickening. About to start on part 2.
I mean this was okay I don’t feel as if a book 2 was needed but hopefully we can see some type of positive ending for her & a point. And hopefully book 2 will be out soon.
I can't wait to read the next book. What's going to happen between Nadia and Malik? Will the cops be able to prove who killed Jordan? Will Nadia go down, too? 5 stars and a book you wouldn't want to miss
This book was extremely interesting from the beginning and I so loved this story I need to know what happens next at this point I am truly curious as to what is going to happen next
With everything going on, I feel like it should have been a couple more chapters Before the to be continued. I just got into the book really got into the book toward the end. Just wish there was more to go by...
If you are looking for a story with a great plot twist this is one. I couldn’t put this book down. Definitely recommend reading this and will be reading more from this author.
A good read that is well written with a crazy storyline. These characters are both young and naive. The female character is so scared and has no one in her corner. The male character is young, arrogant, and has a bad temper. The author is delivering a realistic storyline.
This book is not what I expected at all and I love that. It kept me guessing. It is fast pasted It was hard for me to put this book down…. I can’t wait to start part two… 🔥 🔥
This was a great read. I didn't see half of this stuff coming. When I read the title I thought this would be your typical arranged but this was a whole new twist. I loved that you went in a different direction.
Mahlik was one crazy character. I can’t wait to see how all this turns out. I can tell Nadia isn’t going to take too much of Mahlik’s mess. I can’t wait to read part 2..
I have a love/hate relationship with Malik. He’s too hot/cold. I know it was Unc’s idea for Malik to “woo” Nadia, but one minute he’s sweet as pie, like he really into her. Then the next, he’s back bring mean & toxic. Let’s see if he can get it right in book 2.
This was a good read. Nadia can’t win for nothing. I get why she was scared to tell in Mahlik, but I’ll be damned if I was manipulated and forced to be in a relationship. I need part 2.
