Sophie Quinn FBI Mystery #6

The Serpent's Dirge: A Sophie Quinn FBI Mystery Thriller Book 6

Rate this book
Impossible murders.

Victims found dead with no sign of their invisible tormentors or any clue as to how they died.

As chill air and dark mist rolls over the canals and the nights lengthen, Sophie Quinn, internationally famous magician turned FBI consultant, and her partner, FBI Agent Jonathan Greer, find themselves face to face with a series of haunting deaths that challenge every instinct and make them question whether the spectral entity claiming lives along the shadowy waters of New Orleans is even human.

With the thread of the River Killer’s trail slipping through her fingertips, Sophie finds an unlikely ally, even as her life unravels around her. But the insidious and lethal threat of Silas Hitchens is coiling ever tighter, and Sophie and Greer soon realize they must find a way to save not only their careers but their lives.

Having worked on projects with New York Times Bestsellers and USA Today bestsellers, Georgia Wagner recently hit #1 bestseller with her newest series. Location and character are two big factors for Georgia, and getting those right allows the story to flow seamlessly onto the page. And flow it does, because Georgia is so prolific a new term is required to describe the rate at which nerve-tingling stories find their way into print.

When not found attached to a laptop, Georgia likes spending time in local arboretums, among the trees and ponds. An avid cultivator of orchids, begonias, and all things floral, Georgia also has a strong penchant for art, paintings, and sculptures. A many-decades-long passion for mystery novels and years of chess tournament experience makes Georgia the perfect person to pen the Artemis Blythe series. That's where it all started, but the drive to craft thrilling mystery tales soon demanded new characters in new locations.

Where will she take us next?

This book is the best , most cryptic yet. Awesome writing by Georgia Wagner , so thrilled at Sophie Quinn FBI mystery books she’s got to be one of my favourites by this author. Her partner in crime fighting Greer is messing with his career when he comes baring knuckles and knows how to use them…down boy. New Orleans known for magic and Voodoo what would you do? Strange deaths are occurring in NOLA no explanation how or why…puzzling case and is it caused by animal or the human race? Spectral entity claiming lives ? Impossible murders even for a magician turned FBI consultant but there’s FBI agent Greer and two’s a party so get the voodoo blues out of your souls and search the Everglades for clues. Brilliant writing synonymous by the pen of this fine author. With her finger on the pulse of the great mystery thriller genre there’s no one got nothing on her storytelling prowess that keeps getting better every book I delve into where I immerse myself for hours. Superb prose , the characters awesome and the way the story is described is just jaw dropping good. I’m writing my review voluntary and my own thoughts.

Voodoo and murder reigns supreme during this entertaining and shocking story. New Orleans knows about magic spells and tragic outcomes causing Greer and Sophie to be given this explosive case to solve. But at what cost? Highly Recommended.

This new Sophie Quinn book is freaky, freaky good, that is. There are peculiar deaths in NOLA, and both Quinn and Greer are called to help figure out what happened. A super good book with an unbelievable ending.

Another Great Read

The beginning of this book seemed a bit like an interlude in a song. An interlude separates one verse from another. Just as the start of this book gave the reader a moment of breathing room before the plot jumped back on the runaway train it emulates.
