I couldn’t wait to open my ARC of The Highland Fling! I was introduced to Bannock in January when I read The Highland Kiss, and after devouring every page, I knew I was absolutely invested in the lives of Grace and Aidan. Even though they weren’t the center of the first story, their characters were so well built, I felt as though I was invested in what came next for their novel. And oh baby, was this a fun read!
Bannock, the sweetly imagined, small town in the Highlands, welcomes the reader back, as Grace accompanies her brother from London after he’s decided it’s time to move in with his boyfriend.
There’s only one problem…a few weeks prior, Grace and Aidan had a fling during Emily and Ally’s engagement party, and the evidence of their night together is quickly wreaking havoc on Grace’s senses.
Grace had chosen to stay single while she figured out her own self. Aiden was content being the town play boy with a wam, bam, thank you mam reputation. Together, they are forced to grow, and find strength in each other as well as those around them. It’s not an easy road, but their story is sweet, and they both become two people you’ll want to both cry and cheer for.
