picked this up on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by how engaging the writing was. the sri suktam is explained with the myths and tales where necessary. it weaves itself into memory in its non-linear telling.

There is also a Your Story chapter which advises to rewrite the story of our life as ultimate purpose of sadhana is to be able to make our present and future better. In few chapters, you go back to ved and puranas and in few, Om Swami talks to the readers which is in itself a joyful experience.

A clear and concise explanation of each of the fifteen mantras along with the back story of how they were invoked or came into existence. The stories clarified the analogies, the specific names, and their significance in a way that you retain in your mind long after you have memorized the shlokas. Loved it, anyway I am a nut for mythology and spirituality. Before this I read Om Swami’s memoir. It was by chance that I stumbled upon this one at the airport when I didn’t even know this one existed. And it was just what I needed for I was wondering if I should start doing my own Sadhana but don’t know how to proceed. By the end of it, I had tears in my eyes. I have done the Sri suktam sadhana with sqami ji though it was through sadhana app but it was a wonderful experience. Earlier I was not aware about meaning of each verse of Sri Suktam and story behind it. The way Om Swami’ji explain each story about verse is taking us go back to the time of it.Really helpful for me to go for my further endeavours on the Sadhana Path. Exceptionally written. I think only Swami can do this, no one else. Seeing beyond and putting down on paper. There are many commentaries on Sri Suktam but they are only translation of the meaning for Vedic text but not the actual origin of the text and reason for that. Many Many Pranams to Swami for taking time and giving this gift to all of us.🙏🙏🙏
