Best series ever! Mitzy Moon never fails to move me!

Per book:

Book 15
There is a new element in this book that really added to the story. I Loved that with a capital L! But, this instalment is just a little bit heavier than normal. Just a tad darker. So please, do read the warning in the front of the book. Because this book contains some topics that may be triggering. But of course it was once again a well written book, with that one-more-chapter-ability. A real pageturner. Silvertale is one of my favorite authors and this book was a great read. The story swept me away and was so wonderfully written that I was on the edge of my seat. Because you know, (quote) “You may have paid for the whole seat, but you’ll only need the edge!” These are the kind of sentences that made me fall in love with Silvertale’s tales! The mystery is wrapped up really well. And there were a few elements to this story that really make it stand out. Highly recommend!

Book 16
What a fun read, with a good dose of sarcasm and sense of humor. I loved the start, it immediately drew me in. And I loved how the case started almost right away. Mitzy’s sarcasm, sense of humor, and ability to make jokes about her klutziness all made this very entertaining and the fact that she cares deeply, made me care deeply too.
Mitzy-vibe: check. Sharp wit: check. Pye being super smart and mysterious check! Fun banter with ghost: check. Clever and witty conversations with Erick: check. Aww-moments: big check! Because yes, there is one thing that happens that really had me go all ‘awww’!
Mitzy Moon never fails to move me.
Read. Read this. Go read now!

Book 17
This book has it all! Another good instalment. What am I saying? I mean great! What a clever case, and what a wonderful book! Mitzy is on another case, well, two actually, and I loved it! The banter between Mitzy and Ghost-ma is so funny and at times heartwarming. An underlying theme of Mitzy’s trust-issues make this a multi-layered story, with lots of humor, but also all the feels.
Silvertale crafts such beautiful sentences full of sarcasm and a wicked sense of humor. It makes this story come alive with fun and mystery. It ensures a great flow with never a dull moment. Many giggle-moments though! I smiled my way through this book, with the occasional aww-moment and of course, at times, on the edge of my seat! I bow to the master.

Book 18
All. The. Feels.
Wow, it starts with a prologue and immediately we’re thrown in the midst of the action, and I’m there! Great start. Then it slows down for just a little bit, allowing me to catch my breath, but that start really excited me! And the rest of the book lived up to the expectations!
An armed robbery and a poltergeist with unfinished business, and who is in the thick of it all? Yup. Our very own Mitzy! She has her work cut out for her! She was amazing, as always, but she has learned so much and uses that too! Well, if she remembers to, LOL!
This is a different kind of book, in that it’s not a traditional murder mystery. But different in a good way! In a compelling way. In an read-this-now way! It was a great read! As always, it made me feel all those emotions that Mitzy is feeling! And not everything was easy… but that is enough said, go read it yourself!

Book 19
What. A. Ride!
With Erick in Quantico, Mitzy has to deal with Paulsen. Because of course something happens and she gets into a situation where she needs Paulsen’s help. And honestly? It was good to see different sides of Paulsen. And Mitzy learns tact! She’s come a long way.
My favorite part of the book was the … I don’t know how to say this without spoiling anything. So I won’t say anything more than what happened was hilarious and also beyond beautiful! And I laughed out loud more times than I can count!
A quote from Grams: “I don’t know the first thing about camping, dear. For the first time in my life, I have no idea what one would wear on an occasion!”
This series continues to impress me. I felt so emotional at the end!

Book 20
Another page-turner!
It was sooo good to be back in Pin Cherry Harbor, almost Canada! Lots of stuff going on, a haunted house (Halloweeny), a book signing, a murder, a séance… What a great book yet again!
I love Mitzy Moon and her heart of gold. I love Ghost-ma and her fierce love of Mitzy and hilarious ways. I love Pyewacket and the sense of mystery that hangs about him (tip, a short story with his origins?). I love Erick, he’s just perfect in almost every way. I love Silas and his mentoring support. I love Odell too, I love all the characters!

Book 21
A worthy final episode
Mitzy is becoming more and more a part of Pin Cherry Harbor’s community. Helping to hang the Christmas twinkle lights, isn’t she too klutzy for that? LOL.
The writing was exceptionally excellent, as per usual. The story was captivating, intriguing, and kept me interested throughout.
A beautiful and heartwarming ending. A sense of finality in this last installment of this series, but luckily there is a spin-off!

Mitzi Moon is a quirky chick who stumbles into every sticky situation possible

#15
Mitzy has an unexpected visitor from her past. Beni & “Mitz” as he calls he used to work together in Sedona. He has no idea how much her life has changed since she arrived in Pin Cherry Harbor. Mitzy has had an admirer for quite some time. Deputy Candy. Boy she didn’t know how off his rocker he was. Beni & Mitzy get kidnapped & end up without Sheriff Erick or Silas to help. She’s depending on her skills learned by her mentor. Everything comes together with our girl. Did I mention a pie contest? Always food in her life. Ghostma, Pye, Silas, Erick & Odell straighten out her mess of a life as usual. Can you imagine Mitzy in a “Donna Reed” dress & heels? Get ready.

#16
Mitzy never ceases to amaze me. She & Erick have come a long way. They are comfortable with each other. Erick now knows about her gifts & sometimes asks for assistance. Everyone loves Christmas & its traditions. Grams has her opinion of her 70’s silver tree, “there shall be no Christmas without said tree!”, but Mitzy & Erick go out to cut down their own in the woods of “almost Canada”. As usual for Mitzy she stumbles across another crime scene. During her & Ericks investigation they uncover secrets, a cranberry bog & the maple syrup mafia. A huge twist in her life changes everything she thought she had. She has a wonderfully massive Christmas dinner with her whole family. There are many new things to to look forward to in the new year & a new family member to include in those memories.
#17
Ice Fishing & Baby Jesus
Mitzi is up to her knickers in more trouble in Pin Cherry Harbor. Two cases, a caracal & ghost-ma to assist. She may also have another family member with some physic abilities. It will take all the help she can get to solve these with minimal help from her boyfriend & do this on her own. Will it work? Does she have the chops to become her own type of law-woman? Read on & if you’re new to the series, start at one & join the family.
#18
In this book, we read a different format that is great. We hear things from Erick’s point of view.
Mitzi is abut to celebrate her birthday. She hasn’t had a party or celebrated it since her mom died when she was 11. While trying to pretend she doesn’t know about ghostma’s plans, she offers to help get the book shop ready for the day by going to the bank to pick up the cash drawer for Twiggy. We know Mitzi has a way of finding herself in tricky situations. She enters the bank & soon realizes she will be using all her abilities today. In this book, #18 in the series, she & deputy Paulson work together leading to a new relationship. Erick has a surprise for Mitzi & Stellon has a special treat for Yolo. I personally can not wait for book #19, you’ll understand why, later in the story.
#19 Blades and Bridesmaids
Mitzi goes camping-I never would have guessed
Oh my, Mitzi is in deep this time. With Erick off in VA, she has to rely on the 1 person in town she would definitely not go camping with. While helping Gramps out, Mitzi learns of new family. Always a bridesmaid, ??
This a great story. It’s great to float right into a new story that continues from the previous book. Read all of the Mitzi series will keep you shaking your head & LOL.
#20 Scones and Tombstones
Halloween & Mitzi, what could go wrong-plenty
Scones & Tombstones indeed!
I have to say this book in the series is my favorite so far. I got scared, I laughed & I cried. All the makings of a good read. All the characters are back for this next story. I can’t wait for the next.
#21 Vandals and Yule Scandals
Yule love this latest Mitzi/Erick adventure
This a fun book with the answer to the long asked question it Mitzi & Sheriff “Too hot to handle”. They finally get together. That’s not without the bumps that come with Mitzi’s life. Ghoatma makes her opinion known. While trying to work on remodeling plans, they encounter a pushy interior designer. It includes all the exitement, theft, arson & fancy clothes.

Schemes and Bad Dreams
Mitzy had a visitor arrive from her old life in Arizona and although they had grown apart, she still showed him around town and took him out drinking. After consuming too many drinks, she left her car and they started walked, only to be given a lift by a local. It took quite a while before the sheriff (her boyfriend) Ghost-ma, Pyewhacket and Silas realised that she was missing. She had apparently been kidnapped and it appeared that her friend had done it, but looks can be deceiving. It took all of their ingenuity and that of Mitzy herself to get her out of the trouble in which she found herself.

Carols and Yule Perils
Mitzy and her sheriff boyfriend were out to cut a Christmas tree on her employee's land, when the find a body. The sheriff recognises the body and it puts Mitzy's employee on the suspect list. The suspect pool gets bigger as they investigate, involving maple syrup, cranberries and Canada. Of course they get help from Pye, ghost-ma and a Canadian mounted policeman.

Dangers and Empty Mangers
Eric (Mitzy's sheriff boyfriend) has asked her to investigate a missing baby Jesus from a vintage nativity scene at a local church. Meantime Mitzy's friend Quince's uncle has been murdered, and he has asked that she help with the case - much to Eric's chagrin. Mitzy takes a fall down the stairs at home and sprains her ankle, so is slightly incapacitated. Can she work both cases at a time?

Heists and Poltergeists
Mitzy is about to turn 24 and had never had a party or even celebrated her birthday since her mum died. This year, supposedly unknown to Mitzy, her ghost-ma is arranging a surprise birthday party for her. During an innocent trip to the bank, Mitzy finds herself in the middle of an armed bank robbery - being committed by the cast of Alice In Wonderland. Each robber was dressed completely in costume for each of the characters - their real faces completely obscured. Mitzy then tried to steer the robbers to dealing with the police in a manner that would keep all the hostages safe - including herself.

Blades and Bridesmaids
Odell's niece Diane is getting married and her and her bridesmaids have gone on a wilderness trip as a before the wedding celebration. Odell gets and phone call states that Diane thinks they are being stalked, so Mitzy decides to help. Eric is away at Quantico, so she has to ask Acting Sheriff Paulsen to help her. At the same time, there is a report come in that there are escaped prisoners at large in the area. So there is the possibility that they are involved. Mitzy and Paulsen both discover things about each other that they didn't know and would come to appreciate, whilst out in the wilderness and in dangerous situations.

Scones and Tombstones
Mitzy is hosting a celebrity chef - Chiffon Cheryl - for a book reading at her book store. This is to be followed by a tour of her Halloween event Haunted House at a local historical mansion. When the chef goes missing and turns up dead, Mitzy's favourite patisserie owner Anne, falls under suspicion, as they were rivals at baking school. Meantime, Mitzy is going to hold a seance to contact her mother, with the help of her favourite alchemist. She sure has her hands full.

Vandals and Yule Scandals
This is the last book in this series and I am so sad to see it finish. Prior to the Winter Extravaganza, the curling arena goes up in flames, almost causing a death. that wasn't the only mystery in the case, as something was stolen. Of course Mitzy decides that she needs to investigate. At least this time she is mostly doing it in conjunction with the sheriff - her boyfriend. whilst all this is going on, she feels that the people closet to her are keeping a secret, but all she gets are flashes of a Snow Queen.

You will not want to miss this wonderful book set. Sure, you can read each one as a stand alone, BUT I guarantee that one book and you will be hooked and wind up reading the whole series.
here are the single book reviews, my opinion:
BOOK 15
Mitzy gets so distracted with a visitor from the past that not even her mood ring was able to give her a warning. her nightmare begins when she wakes up to being stuck in a tv show mix of donna reed meets norman bates. This was actually scary to the point I could not put the book down. just, WOW!
BOOK 16
Mitzy is again presented with a dead body. This plight introduces her to canadian friends of Erics. Ghost ma secrets are revealed, making for the best holiday time ever. Her lessons about the solstice brings Mitzy and Silace closer. another page turner and this reader cannot wait for her next journey.
BOOK 17
so many happenings in town. Mitzy is in a tornado of events that need to be cleared up. Only Mitzy can do this with her typical whirlwind personality. missing coat, missing baby Jesus, and so many people had reason to harm the victim. all of this is sprinkled with love and romance and a promise of Mitzy's story to continue
BOOK 18
Mitzy's birthday has arrived. With it, so did ghost-ma's birthday surprise for her. Trying to ignore every ones thoughts about the party, she misses clues of danger ahead. Mitzy's trouble magnet lands her smack dab in the middle of a bank robbery. Think that's all facing our girl? Hardly! She finds two stuck souls that she has to help cross over. Lastly, her birthday bash was in ghost-ma amazing. Then, Eric calls her to the stage with him so he can present her with his gift to her...you HAVE to read to find out more
BOOK 19
Mitzy travels into the deep woods. An adventure she had never done before. Missing Eric and the secure feeling he gives her, she forges on with Paulsen, the acting sheriff. There has always been tension between the women, but, thru this rescue, the two women get to know each other. Now the big question, did Mitzy help Paulsens' race for sheriff? This is a must read book!
BOOK 20
Who knew recipes were the cause of such mayhem and murder Mitzy finds herself in a blender of reasons and suspects. As usual, she takes risky ventures. This time, in my opinion, there are great risks. This book had me not only on the edge of my seat, but scolding the characters and even crying. A wonderful book! Thank you Ms. Trixie!
BOOK 21
Well, what a change for Mitzy! NO dead body! Her skills are growing to a point where she has to learn how and when to use them. Big news for Mitzy and Harper, but, I cannot tell. Solving the mystery after a fire brings a final conclusion to an old nemesis in true Mitzy Moon style. I found myself shouting, cheering and crying as I read, like the characters could hear me. Miss Trixie has a way with her writing skills that pulls the reader right into Pin Cherry Harbor.

Schemes and Bad Dreams - Mitzi is visited by a friend from the past. Benicio’s heard she’s in Pin Cherry Harbor and has found some money. He’s gotten himself into a little trouble. Mitzi won’t bail him out but will help with a fresh start. Unfortunately, before things get underway Mitzi disappears. Erick can’t find her and also has a missing deputy. Were the two kidnapped?

Carols and Yule Perils - Who is Carol Olson and who murdered her? Mitzy and Erick are off to cut a Christmas tree or two when they stumble upon the body. And the duo is off to solve another crime and maybe enjoy some Christmas cheer along with some time alone. I loved this book. Full of a good mystery and lots of great Christmas activities. One of my favorites!

Dangers and Empty Mangers - Mitzy starts off trying to find the baby Jesus stolen from the church’s manger. But somehow, she is drug into a murder at an ice fishing hut. This is another zany episode in Mitzy’s life.

Heists and Poltergeists - Mitzy is trying to avoid letting anyone know that she knows about her surprise birthday party. On a trip to the bank, she interrupts a bank robbery featuring characters from Alice in Wonderland. This certainly isn’t the birthday party she expected. She’s a hostage but knowing Mitzy she can’t sit still. She’s off to manage the bank robbers. Then there’s the ghosts in the vault. Another great Mitzy mystery.

Blades and Bridesmaids - While Erick is away at sleepover training, Mitzy is at loose ends at what to tell him when he returns home. How can she share what her life is really like? As she puzzles on this Odell hands her a bigger problem. His niece has gone missing. She and her bridesmaids are off on a bachelorette party on a wilderness canoe trip. You just have to read this episode in Mitzy’s life to believe what goes on. … What are you waiting for, start reading!

Scones and Tombstones - Mitzy’s bookstore is hosting a cookbook writer. But she finds out the writer doesn’t have a good history with the owner of Bless Choux, the local bakery. And now the is making problems at the Halloween haunted house, a fundraiser for the local pet shelter. When the author is found dead, it's tough to find a good suspect. Join Mitzy and the hot sheriff in finding the murderer with a little surprise along the way.

Vandals and Yule Scandals - Ghostma has learned to online shop! Mitzy’s wardrobe will now have updates. It will make her Snow Princess outfit complete. But why is Mitzy having visions of a Snow Princess? The burning of the local curling rink puts those thoughts aside as Mitzy joins her hot Sheriff in finding who set the fire. Another great mystery.

Book 15: Mitzy has a surprise visit from an old friend from her old life in Arizona. They have a few drinks and next thing you know, she wakes up kidnapped by who knows who. I love that you get a little bit of Sheriff Too Hot to Handle’s mom. I also thought it was a great part of the story that ghostma and pyewacket help him with the investigation. It was a very original plot and kept me sucked into the story.
Book 16: Mitzy finds a body while getting her Christmas tree. Her employee/friend is going to be charged with the murder so she needs to work on solving the case.
Book 17: This one had 2 missing items and a murder to solve. Baby Jesus is missing from the church nativity scene and Mitzy has been asked to help find it. She is also searching for her ghostma’s vintage coat. Her friend’s uncle is found dead and she helps discover that it was murder and works to help solve it. It was so good
Book 18: Fabulous new addition to the series. Mitzy gets herself in the middle of a bank robbery. She must figure out a way to get herself and other hostages out of the jam and deal with some ghosts of bank robbery past. All this while knowing she is going to celebrate her birthday for the first time since her mom died. I really enjoyed this book and without giving anything away, the last chapter made me cry
Book 19: This had a little bit of everything. From escaped convicts, missing girls, some freaky Friday fun and a wedding. Mitzy has to go on a search in the wilderness for her cousin with acting Sheriff Paulson. You get to see a different side of Paulson. It was truly was hard to put down. I can’t wait to the next book and see where the storyline goes now that the hunky sheriff Harper is in the know of some of her secrets.
Book 20: . A body is found in the haunted house and Mitzy is looking for answers. Between solving a murder and trying a seance to talk with her dead mother Halloween is a busy time for Mitzy. Great story-got teary eyed a little in one part of the story.
Book 21: The curling club arena catches on fire and the gold trophy is stolen. Mitzy is on the case. As she is trying to solve the case she notices some one has coached Sheriff to hot to handle how to block her so she can‘t pick up his thoughts. This book has twists and turns and was a great story from start to finish. I love Pin Cherry Harbor and it’s residents. This is the last book in the series. It’s a great series and I’m kind of sad that it’s ending. Luckily there looks like there is going to be a spin off and we can still enjoy Pin Cherry Harbor and the people that live there.

Great read

I had trouble putting it down. Tricia Silverdale is a wiz at really creating a vivid picture with words. I am not one to give away any plots so you'll have to read this series for yourself, but start at book one the journey is well worth it. On to the next book and looking forward to it.
