No one knows why I transferred mid-season and if I have my way, that’s how it’ll stay. My only priority is to dominate on the ice and solidify my spot on Seattle’s roster in the pros. As for any 'extracurriculars'? I'd rather take a puck to the face.
Everything is on track until my ex-girlfriend resurfaces, hell-bent on getting me to forgive the unforgivable. I tell her I've moved on, sparking rumors around campus about my love life… one that doesn’t exist.
Just when my excuse is about to backfire, fate delivers the perfect solution. Chloe is every bit as committed to her future as I am, and equally disinterested in dating. But the more time we spend together, the more my defenses start to crumble, and I catch myself noticing things I shouldn't—like how tempting she looks in my jersey.
Before I know it, we've gone off script completely, and I'm not sure either of us is faking it anymore.

My plan for senior year is simple: ace the Dental Acceptance Test, graduate with honors, and get into my dream school in New York. Easier said than done with an exhausting course load, waitressing full-time, and roommates who think every day is Spring Break. I barely have time to think, let alone date.
Enter grumpy, closed-off Reid Holloway. After a case of mistaken identity, we strike a deal: play along as his new girlfriend and I get a quiet place to concentrate on all my work while he gets a buffer from all the unwanted attention.
There's just one teeny, tiny catch: Reid is six feet, four inches of toned perfection, and our chemistry is anything but pretend. Before long, we've broken every rule we made. But with graduation looming, our arrangement has an expiration date—and the clock is ticking.
Avery Keelan is a sports romance & adult contemporary romance author who writes hot hockey heroes you'll swoon for.
Her stories contain happily ever afters with lovable characters, snarky banter, and enough steam to fog up a mirror. Plus, of course, a hefty dose of drama and angst along the way.
When not writing, she's spending time with her family, watching hockey (obviously), or enjoying the great Canadian outdoors.

So much for late '25 or early '26. Yeah no it has as of now from the instagram page from her OR bramble (don't have that in germany), not been anounced to be publishing anytime soon. Mind you Offside was published in July and Shutout even late 2024 or early 2025. So yeah I don't see the book making it out of publishing hell in 2026. Don't even know if I will be reading it if it ever comes out as my hype for it got lost on the way to late 2025 I guess. Meh.
