You know that magical movie moment when the girl gets all dolled up and the guy waiting for her wears a smile so wide, it takes up his whole face? Yeah, well, that didn’t happen for me. It was more like, “Here’s your order of humiliation with a side of heartbreak.” And it was all thanks to Finn Bahan, the most popular boy in school. He was my crush and my downfall.

But that was years ago.

I was over it and over him.

I’d grown into my skin and was now a famous model. Gone was lanky Lizzy, and in her place was Eliza Smith. The only downside of fame was needing a bodyguard. Okay, no biggie, right?

Until the guy I had vowed to hate…and never stop…walked in.

And if you can believe it, he didn’t even remember me. Lucky for him, I was a professional even though I still hated him…until I didn’t.

DC Renee is a contemporary romance fiction author who tends to write stand alone novels that always shock you with a twist. She's been writing all her life. It started with adorable rhyming poems as a kid for anniversary and birthday presents, moved onto monologues and short stories as a teen, then transitioned to fan fictions before she found the courage to publish a book.

DC lives in sunny and (mostly) warm Los Angeles with her husband and their two toddlers - a girl and boy that want to "work just like mama," often climbing in her lap and "writing" on her computer. She's very close with her entire family - extended included, and her sister is her muse.

When she's not working, writing, and spending time with the family, she loves watching mindless TV, tinkering with diy projects, and of course, reading.

Lizzie has a crush on school golden boy Finn...only to end up humiliated in front of the whole school. Fast forward a few years and Eliza is a famous model in need of a bodyguard...and in walks Finn. She promised to hate him forever...and never stop but Finn appears to have changed. But has he really or is it all heading to another humiliation? Also loved the short story about Anna. Highly recommend!

I'll never stop es una rom-com con la dosis necesaria de enemies to lovers, romance, humor y un toque spicy, que me ha tenido enganchada desde el prólogo.

La historia se centra en Eliza, una modelo bastante independiente y con un trauma de instituto, a la que le recomiendan que se busque un guardaespaldas que la acompañe al trabajo y reuniones varias por lo que pueda pasarle con los fans. A pesar de negarse al principio acaba aceptando la propuesta, lo que no sabía ella era que el guardaespaldas en cuestión, Finn, era el causante de su trauma de instituto.

Contado desde el punto de vista de Eliza y Finn, este libro está lleno de muchos tiras y aflojas y mucha atracción y tensión sexual en la que con el paso del tiempo y la cercanía, la pareja protagonista pasan de tener una relación estrictamente laboral a algo más. Además de una comedia romantica y enemies to lovers, se podría decir que es un second chance romance (o hasta un third chance romance en cierta parte de la historia) con escenas que hacen subir la temperatura, Eliza y Finn son puro fuego, y otras que hacen que te derritas de la emoción.

En cuanto a los personajes principales, Eliza atrae y no solo por su físico. Debido a lo que le pasó en el instituto, y tras todo lo que sufrió, se hizo más fuerte y entró en la industria de la moda, pero si cambiar su esencia ni su forma de ser. Es un trozo de pan, ayudando a los más necesitado siempre que puede y atendiendo a sus fans. Aún así de vez en cuando se vislumbra esa vulnerabilidad y falta de autoestima que tiene. Finn es todo un ligón, algo que no ha cambiado desde el instituto, pero sí que ha madurado mucho desde entonces. Lejos ha quedado el sinvergüenza sin escrúpulos, convertido ahora en un caballero que daría lo que fuera por hacer feliz a Eliza. Y no me quiero olvidar de Sam, Anna y Clark, amigos de Eliza y Finn que tendrán una parte muy importante en la historia.

Para terminar, I'll never stop es una historia que os dejará con una sonrisa en la cara y que no os podéis perder. Si os gustan las comedias románticas dadle una oportunidad, DC Renee sabe como contar este tipo de historias. Y tampoco os perdáis el extra del final, un relato de pocos capítulos sobre Anna y Clark que deja con ganas de más sobre esta pareja.

I'll never stop is a rom-com with the necessary dose of enemies to lovers, romance, humor and a spicy touch, which has had me hooked since the prologue.

The story focuses on Eliza, a fairly independent model with a high school trauma, who is recommended to find a bodyguard to accompany her to work and various meetings because of what might happen with her fans. Despite refusing at first, she ends up accepting the proposal. What she didn't know was that the bodyguard in question, Finn, was the cause of her high school trauma.

Told from the point of view of Eliza and Finn, this book is full of many pushes and pulls and a lot of attraction and sexual tension in which with the passage of time and closeness, the main couple go from having a strictly work relationship to something further. In addition to a romantic comedy and enemies to lovers, you could say that it is a second chance romance (or even a third chance romance in a certain part of the story) with scenes that raise the temperature, Eliza and Finn are pure fire, and others that make you melt with emotion.

As for the main characters, Eliza attracts and not only because of her physical appearance. Because of what happened to her in high school, and after everything she suffered, she became stronger and entered the fashion industry, but it did not change the essence of her or the way she was. She is so sweet, helping those in need whenever she can and serving her fans. Even so, from time to time we can see that vulnerability and lack of self-esteem that she still has. Finn is quite the flirt, something that hasn't changed since high school, but he has matured a lot since then. Gone is the unscrupulous scoundrel, now transformed into a gentleman who would give anything to make Eliza happy. And I don't want to forget about Sam, Anna and Clark, friends of Eliza and Finn who will have a very important part in the story.

To finish, I'll never stop is a story that will leave you with a smile on your face and that you cannot miss. If you like romantic comedies give it a chance, DC Renee knows how to tell these types of stories. And don't miss the extra at the end, a story of a few chapters about Anna and Clark that leaves you wanting more about this couple.

I could not put this book down! Finn and Lizzy’s story from start to end was amazing!

Right from the start, Lizzy had a crush on Finn. She doodles in her notebook, at school, with her and Finn’s names. She was invited to the formal to go with Finn. When she gets there, well let’s just say Lizzy says she hates Finn and she will never stop.

Years later Lizzy is a model who needs a bodyguard. Well, let’s just say, Finn is that man. His motive behind taking on the job will definitely shock you. I never saw what happened toward the end coming. What’s weird is we’ll wait til you find out. Without giving much away, Lizzy and Finn have a lot of back and forth banter. Their chemistry seems to grow day in and day out. The thing is, can Lizzy get past her school days and her “I’ll never stop” ways about Finn? Will Finn be the man Lizzy ends up with?

This book was a page turner and DC Renee did an amazing job telling it! That bonus epilogue had all the feels!

Lizzy, Eliza, Elizabeth you pick she's beautiful, successful, and smart. Not necessarily in that order. But it wasn't always like this, back in high school she was just your average run of the mill teenage girl, who like all the other girls had a crush on the most popular boy. Finn Bahan, hot, athletic, popular and pretty much got everything he wanted.
What happens after a high school prank destroys one of their self-esteem and an accident a couple of years later destroys the others ideals of what life is all about and then they are thrown back into each other's space?
The kicker is one of them doesn't remember the other from their shared past.
There is so much tension, banter, innuendo and love sprinkled throughout this book you can't call if anything other than heartwarming with a side of let me slap you silly.
I really enjoyed the laughter the story provided, the friendships, and the family.

Totally loved this story...Mozzie is destroyed in high school by the guy who she had a crush on and it ends up defining her as an adult. She worked hard to put how broken she was behind her and becomes a renowned model, while keeping her kindness and being a genuinely good person. She has a scary incident so she gets a bodyguard.....yep, none other than Finn, the guy who broke her and to add insult to injury, he doesn't know who she is! This is a real page turner, it has humor, heartbreak, heat and drama. This was my first book by this author but not my last.

I hate you Finn Bahan and I'll never stop!!!!

Oh boy what an amazing story. My heart went out to Lizzy. I love the whole concept and every single character. The side characters Sam and Anna just made it so touching and unforgettable. Theses two are what BFF are made of. Now Finn character is your typical teenager boy to man. Where he has to prove that he has changed to be the man Eliza needs. Man he doesn't disappoint. Finn truly has changed for the better. When you finish the book make sure you get the extra Epilogue, you won't be disappointed.

A young girl scorned and laughed at on prom night turns out to be a swan, a top model. Her high school crush, young lothario has also developed well but his swagger is still there. When she needs a bodyguard, her immediate reaction to him is outrage and he doesn't recognise her. Plenty of banter as their relationship develops. Old hurts come to the surface and behaviours and feelings are to be faced. Wrongs to be made right, but an unexpected announcement causes further problems. Can old grievances be overcome and if do, how long will it take.

This is my first read by this author and I enjoyed the story very much. Lizzy and Finn, previous lives together, but one does not remember when they meet up later in life. An interesting story for sure, and Lizzy was such a strong character. Once Finn realized what he was dealing with, he was all in, and he did not stop. Quite the twist near the end as well, was not expecting that. I'll come back for more, definitely.

DC Renée does it again writing a book I just couldn’t put down. This is one of those books that make you smile and at the same time root for the couple even though Finn was a complete ahole during high school but I think he more than made up for it. Of course in true DC fashion, there’s always a twist. Love this book! I don’t want to give anything away. Do yourself a favor and read this one. You won’t be disappointed.
Loved the bonus story at the end too!

What a wild ride. Liz y has a crush on Finn in high school and it didn’t end well. Years later Finn is once again in her life.

This book got me from the beginning. Lizzy was your average teenage girl who had a huge rush on the hot guy in school, Finn. Well that didn’t turn out so well and ended up changing her life.
Jump ahead and Lizzy/Eliza is a super model and Finn is her body guard. I’m not going to tell you any more because you need to read all,about it. Enjoy their adventure. It was fun, I cried, smiled, laughed and more. Did I mention the chemistry. Enjoy

I've read a lot of books by this author but I also skip big chunks of paragraphs because she's one of the ones that writes a lot about nothing to have a higher word count. So I usually read a series then go somewhere else then come back lol


“What did Finn do to you? He humiliated you, right? So it’s only fair that you humiliate him."
Look, typically I can't stand people holding a grudge for what someone did in high school, but what Finn did, yes, hold a grudge because he deserves it. But GROWN women trying to humiliate a man for something he did as a child? Truly the most immature thing one could do. Adults being worse than children is never a good look.

“You’re not one of those stereotypical girls who survives on a salad. I know you like food, and I thought you could sample it all here.”
Its actually stereotypical to think women are still like this. I checked publicly this book. 2024 and authors still use this cliche "I'm not like other girls, I eat" and girls? She's a woman ffs
