I'm just a barista trying to get by after losing my mother. But Alexis Blackmore, a wealthy tech CEO, has been obsessed with me for over a year. She visits my coffee shop daily, watching me from afar. I'm flattered by her attention, but feel out of her league. However, when a storm hits and Alexis offers me a ride home, I find myself falling for her charm. She insists on taking care of me, showering me with gifts and affection. As she whisks me away to her lavish mansion, it's clear Alexis believes I belong to her. But her possessive nature also terrifies me. I want true love, yet Alexis seems determined to own me completely. Will I submit to her desires or break free?
Alexis
From the moment I saw Jenna, I was captivated by her beauty and spirit. I've been stalking her for months, learning everything about her. When a storm strikes, I seize the opportunity to get close to Jenna by offering her a ride home. I can no longer resist claiming what I believe is mine. Showering her with my wealth, I insist Jenna come live with me. I want to give her the world, but also own her fully. Though she's reluctant, I'm determined to make Jenna mine forever. I've never felt a love like this before. She belongs to me and I'll destroy anyone who tries to take her away. But if Jenna doesn't return my love, will my obsession lead to our ruin?
Lusting for Jenna is a 55,000+ word novel with darker tones. Please check the trigger warnings before reading this book. Alexis is a bit more obsessive and possessive than the other billionaires in this series. Just a fair warning!
Jenna is a steamy lesbian romance author of fast-paced instalove romance. Expect them to be over-the-top, absurdly ridiculous–but always with a happy ending.
About The Billionaire's Obsession A twelve book series that can be read as standalones. Each book features a dominant femme (sometimes butch, sometimes femme) billionaire that falls madly in love with their woman and will do anything to have her. It's a billionaire's obsession. Always over the top, absurdly ridiculous, but always with a happily ever after. Follow along and enjoy the crazy antics of these billionaires when their crushes turn into full blown obsessions.
I enjoyed the book, but it wasn’t what I had expected. The character development was pretty good and I enjoyed how they found their way through each obstacle.
Let me start off by saying this book was 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️the laundry scene was 🥵🤌🏽
Alexis has been stalking Jenna for a year before she finally talks to her at the coffee shop which is where Jenna works. Jenna is reluctant to get with Alexis due to her boss/“friend” Trinity liking Alexis. Jenna also feels Alexis is out of her league due to their wealth/status gap. Her boss trinity is a hater from day one so be prepared to hate her.
The trigger warnings are mentioned at the beginning of the book which threw me off a little because I don’t think I’ve noticed triggers mentioned in any of Jenna Kent’s other books. Alexis was such a sweetheart even though she basically forced Jenna into a relationship 😂 she was very much over the top but the story was told so well. Overall I enjoyed the book and the HEA at the end.
I hope there will be another book in the billionaire series 🙌🏽
WOW! 😮 It was dark, but not too dark. A good surprise 😁
Let me start by staying the spice in this book was 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🔥🔥🔥 The laundry room scene 🫣
Well done Jenna Kent!
I won’t lie the trigger warnings scared me, but they are there for a reason. Alexis was out of her mind! But I loved every bit of her crazy. Everything worked out in the end and I hope I get to see more of this couple later on. Please don’t let this be the end of the billionaire series! This was by far the best one. I loved Alexis’ crazy, she was so obsessed with Jenna and live for that level of crazy 😜
Quick read, nothing that impressive, but I couldn't help but wonder what kind of fifty shades of grey is this? the fact that this only happens in fiction makes me feel ripped off. Story-wise I thought for a moment Jenna would have a mental breakdown or something, but this book is a happy ending kind of book (my depressed life is grateful for the momentary dopamine fixes) ( y lo digo super fuera de webeo)
The trigger warnings made me want (need) to read this. This short, but sweet read gave me all the drama and excitement I needed. I felt so much of my self in the small and sometimes needing parts. I can wait to read more books by this author. Thanks for putting your world out there for us all to have a little of your ever delicious mind. I a fan forever ;)
I was a bit nervous about the trigger warnings at the beginning. Warnings and all, I enjoyed this book, not a big surprise, we are talking about Jenna Kent her 😁. Only complaint is I have to wait for the next gem Ms. Kent drops.
Alexis was definitely crazy but I loved ever moment of it. This story was so passionate and although it was wild, it was so sweet. I desperately hope there's more of them or books like it in the future from Jenna.
This book was crazy over-the-top instalove romance as advertised. It wasn’t as dark as advertised, at least, not to me. I liked the story, and I liked the characters, Jenna and Alexis, but editing issues with the book really drove me to distraction. I deducted a star for all said issues.
