This was very different. Kadijah was being pursued by someone she knew in a past life. The problem is she did not know she was from a past life. She felt she was being hexed and asked Glory to help her get rid of what was making her life crazy. This was somewhat nerve racking, but I think I was figuring out what was happening and why/how, but was not really sure. The only issue I had with this story is I did not get the ending I wanted, but that is OK, because it made sense. I really enjoyed this book and found I could not stop reading once I really got into it.
The last part of the book really became interesting but then you’re left with no true ending and the need to read book 2 for clarity. Personally, the story doesn’t interest me enough to purchase the next book in the series.
