Mystery, love & adventure out on the big blue sea…something about this book spoke to my water loving soul. I’ve never read a pirate fantasy before, but wow! I am SO glad this was my first! So many amazing characters, ohhh that sweet Winnie (pun intended). I didn’t know how this was going to end, & had to keep going to know more. Such a unique end to the story, but I can’t wait for more to come from the briny-bucking sea farers I’ve come to know & love. If you’ve been looking for a fun new genre, this pirate romantasy is the one for you! Not spicy, but full of mystery, day dreaming & much more. Come brave the sea & live this journey as well!

This was hard for me, a dyslexic; to read. The story itself was not boring, but the way the writer used the English language was very hard to read with any speed. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what seemingly made-up words meant, in the context given. This could have been the best adventure ever, but as a dyslexic this was an absolute nightmare for me. I had a feeling there would be issues when in the intro, the author seemed to have pulled out a thesaurus app and used every description it gave for water on all the senses. It was beautiful, but boring.

In the story itself, you have twin sisters; one prophesized to be an almost god. The other so desperate for attention, that she made herself a ship captain, and every time she comes to shore, she sends people to the papers to tell them she had safely come to shore so that they could write about it. We jump five years, and the god sister is missing and that's where the actual story begins. This book is exciting but might be hard for people with dyslexia and other reading issues to read. If an audiobook comes out, I will try to read it again, maybe I'll understand more if I hear it.

This enchanting fantasy novel captivates from the very beginning with its unique blend of romance and adventure. The prose is exquisite, weaving a tapestry that not only builds its fantastical world but also enriches it with every word. One standout feature is the inclusion of sea shanties that perfectly evoke a swashbuckling, maritime ambiance, making me long for a soundtrack to accompany them. I thoroughly enjoyed "The Starlit Relic" and am eagerly anticipating the next installment in the "Dreamsea Voyages" series!

The starlit relic is amazing! Captivating, I couldn’t put it down! The tale of the skyruler is not what you expect, twists and turns with every turn of the page!

There is love, war, family, friendship and rivalry, what more can you ask for? Ohhh and pirates 🏴‍☠️ who doesn’t love pirates!

The story of Aria deciding to go to Oceangale Academy after her life is dramatically changed, she must learn to be herself, and not the sister of the skyruler she has learned to live in the shadow of.

Can not wait for the next book!
