Agatha is a mega dork by day and an adult phone operator at night. Everything was going just fine until she met with one of her Arnold. She finds herself wanting a deeper connection with him.
Arnold works at a small town bookstore. As much as he loves his job, and his dog Rufus, the only connection he has is with an adult phone operator, "Angel". She knows him as "Adonis," but when they meet, they're surprised to find they're nothing like their phone personas.
Will Agatha and Arnold find true love amidst many kerkuffles, awkward interactions and strange names for each others... parts?
ARC Review — this story felt like it didn’t entirely belong in the collection/series. This is the only one (so far — 3 more to read) that missed the mark so much.
The spice isn’t nearly as much as in other books. There are like four spicy scenes, and they sort of just start and end. That might be because he has a 4.5 inch penis and is a virgin who can’t last long. But if she’s so in love… maybe some more descriptions? Some more feelings? Metaphors? Something.
There’s a cringy (which is the plan, right?) third act break up that has to do with her being a sex worker. Which he already knew. I kinda hate that. I’m glad he came to his senses, but to be honest, I would’ve been okay if she dumped his ass for good. Don’t be a hypocrite.
The description of this story is so exciting. But it falls flat. The tropes said he had a micro penis, but is 4.5 inches considered micro? He’s very small. But micro sounds like a hyperbole… but maybe it’s used differently than I thought.
I also wish Agatha has more descriptors than she did. The other FMCs were described better. MMCs, too. Maybe it’s just the author? I’ve never read anything from this author.
Worth reading for the challenge and experience. But… not my cup of tea.

They're so awkward it's sweet. Their first time is so realistic, you can't have all virgin heroes that immediately knows what's up and sometimes they get your holes confused. It's cringe but endearing. I love all the beef euphemisms because beef, it's what's for dinner.
Thanks to Stephanie Swann for the review copy and this is my honest review.
This was actually kind of adorable? I felt like a zombie reading the last few, so I’m glad I saved this one for last. It was still cringe, don’t get me wrong, but definitely not as bad as the other ones lol
This Really Is NOT Cringy…Sorry…LOL ⭐️To Each Their Own⭐️ ,it’s their cute, dorky, love story, and him being a bonehead for a few days. They definitely are an a-dork-able couple… until his jealousy came to light (tisk, tisk) 🙁 However I did like his thought when she went to his work after their disagreement: “There was a fire in those deep brown eyes. I'm not convinced she won't kill me” 😈
His poem was actually awesome: (spoiler🚨)

This was kind of an endearing read bc both characters were awkward and clumsy and so ordinary but they met in such a fun way, Agatha is a sex phone operator and Arnold is/used to be a client, also virgin and both were absolute nerds.
There was this conflict point around Agatha being a sex phone operator and Arnold being jealous of her clients. Which was resolved way too quickly like I wanted a little more angst but the argument about was done well imo.

This book is literally meant to be cringy. It’s the whole point and it delivered. I definitely was cringing at parts. But I also ended up really liking the main characters?
This book is part of the DNF challenge in which there’s a bunch of books that were written to make you cringe and see if you dnf or survive. If you look past the cringy dirty talk, I feel like the story wasn’t bad at all. It has potential to also be written as a serious love story, at least I think so 🤷🏼♀️
I won’t be continuing the series but this was an experience to say the least 😅
I'm so glad this was the next book in this series, because it restored my faith in the DNF universe. This novella was so adorably cheesy, dorky, awkward, and a touch horny. It's definitely one of the least cringy ones, unless you think two nerds falling in love is cringe. The most cringe part of the book was the use of the word "beef". You can use your imagination for that one.
I did it, I made it to the end. We decide to read these for a book club challenge. I get it was supposed to be cringey, but honestly it would have still been sufficiently cringey if she scaled back. I will say I think I got a better dnf book than others.
Arnold and Agatha were so cute. The way they interacted was so cute and funny. Had me smiling the entire time reading it. Cringe factor was about a 3/5.
4/5 spiciness: once Arnold let go, they were being intimate a lot.
Agatha is a nerd, but at night, her adult phone operator, Angel, comes out. After further conversations with one of her customers, Adonis, they want to meet. Adonis is really nerdy Arnold, who works at DNF. This one was mainly awkward and cringey just because the characters were.
This fell flat on every level. This is supposed to be a cringe erotica series and this Book was not erotic at All. It felt like it didn’t fit in the series at all. It was very dorky but it missed the mark. The story felt choppy and their was little to no sex - and when it happened it was confusing with little description. Honestly I am very confused on their relationship if you can even call it one, it was hard to follow. It’s mentioned somewhere he had a micro peen but it’s 4.5 inches and thicccc so he has a chode? Not a micro peen?
This is a cringe series and this “romcom” just doesn’t fit with the erotic nature of the series. It’s out of place and a let down.
Maybe the series isn’t promised as “erotic” just “cringe” but when nearly every book is erotic it’s weird to read this one - confusing choppy romcom.
Also the title makes no sense… what is drippy for? There were no drippy sex moments? Drippy because they spilled their drinks a few times? And if this isn’t a erotic book why is the title so erotic and the cover image erotic (a peach with cream oozing out of it?) It’s very misleading.
Here purely because I'm stubborn and determined to read the entire DNF series.
The premise of the story itself could have been interesting but I just found it increasingly lacking. It doesn't fit with the rest of the stories, convinced myself the character of Fable is actually meant to be Story from the previous novellas and kept getting thrown off whenever her name appeared 🙈
The story seems to jump randomly to Arnold getting jealous. Which comes out of nowhere and doesn't match his character at all. The attempt of cringe/ various slang terms were repetitive and missed the mark.
