I think this might be my favorite volume yet! I am so Team Claudia and LOVED seeing her freed from fear's grip and take a leap of faith, so to speak! Girl, you have so many allies, and I don't want to see you afraid anymore! I'm cheering for you!!!

Sylvester is still up and down with me because he's still so pushy, but I loved how he reacted to that conversation with Claudia. It was an emotionally packed scene, and I think him being there for her (and willing to be there for her in more scary ways LOL) really helped me in liking him more than I did in the previous volume.

The bonus chapter was my favorite thing in this volume because VIRGIL!! He is so great, and if there is one thing I want more in this series, it's of him and Claudia having more time together!

Can't wait to see how everything goes down in this next volume!!

Oh my goodness! This was such a great volume and I cannot wait to see what is next in the next volume, this school festival is going to be LIT. I just adore Claudia and I am happy to see her put down her shield/walls in front of her friends and actually trust them/confide in them/ask them for help. Oh, and I love the tension between the prince and Claudia though I hope that Louise isn't going to be a problem in the future, I would love for Claudia to confide in her as well, but then again it is also a bit up to the prince to be fairer to his other bridal candidates.
Fermina is such a piece of doodoo seriously imagine thinking you are the only one who deserves the love of a father or the love of anything. Geez. I just want to punch her. Those plans of her. Urgh.

Another binge read 1-4. Stopped one series and got hooked on another. I was surprised by the age rating for this one and how long the trauma lasted. Instead of torture, murder or convent, the FMC goes the sets sold to a brothel route. The sister is a piece of work. I'm surprised she managed it the first time around.

Not all the scenes make full sense. Screaming your crimes at the edge of the lawn, confessing secrets to a potential enemy, and plotting unnecessary encounters with your enemies, for example, are not logical choices. Still, this targets the internal fears, motivations, and emotions of the characters better than those panels that came before. It also gives a few moments for our cast to behave like teens rather than adults which I appreciate.

Such a great volume! Fermina is scary. Her angry is depicted so well between her expressions and actions. The girl needs some serious therapy. Also not Syl threatening to off Fermina so that he can occupy more of Dee's heart! It's so toxic and I love it!

I'm glad Claudia has a lot more allies on her side this time. Especially Helen. I adore their relationship. Bonus content** - It's also so cute how her brother was getting a little jealous of their relationship.

I loved this volume! It made me want to read it super fast and I ended up binging this volume and the next one! I’m so happy that it’s finally happening, Fermina will go down because of her own selfishness. Claudia has a lot of people who support her and trust her, I’m happy that prince Sylvester is on her side!

In this volume the festival arc is on full swing and going strong. The pacing is very fast as no time is spent on the actual festival itself and more focused on the sabotage traps ect.i personally found this arc rather boring compared to other arcs in the series. This is more of a mandatory section to overcome her vicious half sister.

Slay queen! I love following a story where the FML is only trying to survive due to a past life. I like that the crown prince is becoming obsessed with her, and I enjoy that the sister is quite literally just evil and envy personified.

Prince has tender moment with villainess, we come to understand why Fermina hates FMC, we see who is the mastermind behind Fermina, and FMC solves student council issue and then asks friends to help set trap for Fermina to get caught in next volume. Overall a good time and a quick read.

The highlights of this volume were Claudia’s tears at the tea parlor in town, Syl’s offer to ‘eliminate’ her problem, and Tristan’s rivalry with Helen in the bonus material. Everything else… was a bit bland
