HAPPY EVER AFTERS (& MORE)Wolfman Oogami finally gets an opportunity to tell his boss, the sheepwoman Mitsuji, how he really feels, but a work emergency might just blow it! Rushing from the office, knowing he's late for their agreed upon meeting, Oogami questions if Mitsuji will even still be there... Their hidden crushes are rushing to a conclusion in this final volume!
If I'm being honest, this is more of a 3 star volume. It's very much in line with previous entries in the series and doesn't do much different. But it's also an adorable and satisfying conclusion, and I'm happy enough with that to give it a round up.
4.5/5 Apple cider & cologne core!!! It was such a cute story. The characters chemistry was so good and I was rooting for them. They had the cliche love triangles, but it worked. Additionally, they didn’t play into the miscommunication troupe too much liek they actually talked it out like grown adults!! Yay a win for miscommunication haters (me)! I like how they talked about the treatments of hybrids and what they go through in their society. The mc helps a girly out and I thought that was cute. The sheep x wolf dynamic is over used but this usage was worth it. I would def recommend since it’s only 5 volumes and the side couples were eating. I love a good enemies to lovers & friends to lovers & ig co workers to lovers (?? Idk about that one but if u like it it’s there).
The story continues to be so cute. I love the more other characters get involved, but really getting progression in their relationship was great. It's like everything I've been waiting for finally happened.
As good as this series was to read, I feel like the ending was rushed. It was very cute seeing Oogami and Mitsuji progress in their relationship a bit and how they handle long distance, the timeskip was confusing to read since it had no real lead-way. Also, it was very disappointing to see the marriage of a very minor pair of characters and not seeing anything of Oogami and Mitsuji’s wedding. Readers don’t even see their official engagement and then the bonus chapter is them well into their marriage and with twins. It would’ve been more adorable to see the actual lead up to that stage of their relationship.
This was such a wonderful conclusion to this series! I just wish we had more volumes 😭
I loved finally being able to see Oogami and Mitsuji together. They were so adorable! My heart stopped with all the moments we got of Oogami being extra adorable now that his feelings were out in the open 🥺 I was bursting with feeling!
I also loved that we got to meet Mitsuji’s family and learn a little bit about Oogami’s family! Mitsuji’s parents and brother were an absolute delight 💖 I’m so glad they immediately liked Oogami and saw he was a good noodle! It made it all the more rewarding.
I’m also shook to my core at the fact that the wedding we got in here was between Usami and Shishikura! Can’t say I was disappointed since I loved seeing the extra content of them in the other volumes. They were cute as hell, and I’m glad we got to see them get married 💖
Anyway. I think that’s all I have to say about this volume! I loved it, and I’m glad it ended on such a cute and positive note ✨
Just re-read Vols 3-5 and I enjoyed them more the second time around:)
This is a cute series! I adored Oogami so much and greatly enjoyed seeing how he grew into his devotion to Mitsuji. The frustration points were REAL -the entire story read as authentic to young professionals juggling work and relationships. Definitely recommend to fans of the genre:)
Teen Librarian Content Note: This series is rated "Teen: 16+". However, all of the characters are consenting adults in the workforce, post-college. The library I borrowed them from shelved them in YA (teen), but I wouldn't recommend this to teens unless they specifically ask for it or similar titles -like Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku, Vol. 1, for example.
😩😩😩 I’m sad it finished! This series was short but so much fun to read! Oogami and Mitsuji confessed to each other and now it’s navigating secret office relationships. They both know what they want they just don’t say it out loud to each other! 🤭 we have cute and funny moments like Oogami meeting her family and a surprise wedding! 🤫 The ending is really cute and comes together really nicely. I’m happy with the whole series that I know it will be a favorite to read over and over again.

This manga is a true slow burn but this volume felt rushed. The ending, you see they have kids and they got married but you don’t see the wedding or the FMC pregnant. But it was cute and clean cute ending for the main characters and side characters.
Overall, this was a sweet ending to a cute office romance BUT (spoiler incoming....3...2...1...) annoying. Even with a 13+ age rating, I expected MORE. 😠😪 though in that way it is very similar to Wotakoi, so maybe that's the point.. I'll miss these furries. ❤️
I loved the ending chapter and the after story chapter. Only complaint is that this volume felt rushed. We didn't see how they juggle their new relationship together with work before being outed as a couple to their friends and co workers. The last chapter and the after story chapter makes up for it.
This was a charming little series to read. This one felt rushed and skimmed over relationship developments but still cute. All the relationships popping up this last volume.
Recap: confession and dating, oogami in bed the day after oof, hiding relationship, transferring to a new project, wedding for lion and rabbit, end.
Words cannot express the joy this series brought me. I am so very sad that it is over. But I am so happy to have seen it's conclusion.🩷 I am in love with these two main characters. They are so precious to me.😭
A cute ending to this volume. I really enjoyed the way things solidified and learning a bit more about Mitsuji’s background and her family and how chill they all were. The ending was cute, not a traditional wedding but seeing how their relationship developed was so awesome!
I do wish the series was longer. I would have liked to read more about their dynamic and the other side characters as well. Even an additional volume would have sufficed just so we’re not rushing through the happy ending.
4 stars. I enjoyed this whole series, but felt the ending was a bit rushed after such a long 4 volume wait. I just wanted more. I wouldn't say no to seeing more of the side couples either.
A very satisfying ending to a fun series! But now I’m hoping for another volume with side stories about their friends and maybe a little more of their cute kids.
Cute finishing of the story. Workplace relationship, marriage and it turns out a lot more of their co-workers are interested in carnivore/herbivore relationships.
I knew once I saw the cover that I wouldn’t enjoy this volume compared to the rest of the series. This series started off so strong and honestly I feel like it could have easily gone on for 10 volumes with the material we were given. However by volume 4 you could tell we were going to get a quick wrap up ending. That being said, I still enjoyed this volume and it was hella cute! I’m just sad that this series had so much more potential and it was cut short.
