Decent text with helpful tips:

Consolidate psychological separation from family of origin
Build relationship identity
Establish sexual identity
Establish the relationship as a zone of safety and nurturing
Address failures, struggles, successes and fears in a supportive and caring atmosphere
Maintain relationship that is fun and interesting
Keep love alive ~ combine early idealization with reality perception
