Parts of this book are good. To give credit Chapter wise first and last are duds, remaining will engage you as they provide some context and understanding of how culture around Telegu cinema evolved until early 2000s since independence. If you can research as a film journalist/enthusiast you can draw these conclusions yourself, but nevertheless it's a decent read. My favorite of the whole is its cover

I wish it was more updated rather than being a couple of years old. There are many things that changed in 2024. Even in the previous years.
There are spelling errors here and there.
I liked how it covers almost everything and gives an outline.
Easy to read.

Great read for those who are familiar with Telugu Cinema. Very well researched and gives a great account of the key inflection points of the industry history with a touch of humour and story telling style that can only come from a fan of cinema.
