A coven of witches bent on murder, a cult of hidden figures raising a leviathan to smite the city … sounds like a regular Wednesday morning for Boston PD’s supernatural division.

'These books have got everything! Believable characters you have to root for, white-knuckle action, snarky humor, and endings that leave you feel satisfied yet begging for more!'

Chloe Mayfield is a career cop, but when a high-profile bust goes spectacularly wrong, she finds herself assigned to the losers in Boston PD's supernatural division …

… and discovers a world she never knew existed.

It's going to be mayhem from the first page because it takes balls to investigate a big city's seedy supernatural underbelly and Chloe is going to rip those of anyone foolish enough to get in her way!

Get ready for high-stakes supernatural action.

Fun concept, falls just shy of the mark.

I like the concept a lot. I like the story overall and all the different plots with fantasy creatures. The main character, Chloe Mayfield, reads like a 1950s private eye—short on personality and just short of one-dimensional. It’s an easy read, otherwise. The disbelief in fairies and vampires adds a real, practical element to the story line.
Great book to read on your lunch break or while riding the subway.

Not as good as the other Blue Moon books.

The main character here is always getting out fought. She's tasered, or her gun is knocked out of her hands, or she's knocked out. She's only survived any of the first three stories thru a combination of luck and plot armor thick as battleship plating. And she's just dumb. She walks right into these lethal scenarios unprepared in every story I read, but
I stopped reading after the 3rd book.

A little not believable

Some of the things that she got involved with and then the constant Position she put herself in were just a little bit too much it's like she just got out of everything by sheer luck And no skill it was just kind of frustrating Otherwise the whole plot and everything was good but it was just very frustrating

Page turning, non stop action.

These books kept me up late nights. The action is almost relentless, the characters well written. Join Chloe and her small various bands of partners in fighting against a series of baddies with twisted agendas.

Another smash hit

Enjoyed the adventures of the Blue MoonDivision of the BPD. Great action and strong central characters with fun plot twists. If you like detective series, then you will like this one.

Could not finish

No reflection on the stories, which seem to be good but... I read with a black background and the font kept changing colors from white to blue to gray (and maybe others). It was too disconcerting to continue reading. Someone needs to check the formatting.

Wow

At first, I had trouble getting into the 1st book. But it didn't take long to pull me in. These are as good as the Tempst books. Maybe it's better because Chloe is doing so much on her own with worse enemies. But all in all a great read. Linda Orrs , Ogden, Utah, USA

Great story

Wow! Not what I was expecting from a paranormal police division, but so much better! Made for a great series! Can't wait to read more.

blue moon Boston

This was a fun read, but it was not quite as compelling as the original series and the Australia series.
