This was going to be a 3 star, but in the end, there was a lot of good character development, found family, and good feels.
If I had to read the words "I promise", "I'm right here", "trust me", or "you doubted me" again I was going to throw my Kindle across the room. Lots of repetitive lines of dialogue, spelling errors, and punctuation mess ups.
I appreciated that there was no surprise pregnancy or much talk of pregnancy in the end since both characters were pretty against kids a lot of the book. I also appreciated that pets were involved to bridge that gap of wanting a family.
The found family between the Maxwell's and Carrie was really nice to see as she had a rough go with her own family, but it was nice to see some reconciliation at the end.

I LOVE REID!!!! For someone who kept warning Carrie about how bad he is, he certainly wasn't when it came to her. There are moments of doubt (mainly Reid not thinking about how what he says will impact Carrie) but he is such an alpha man!!.

This is a rerelease of the Dirty Rich Obsession duet, combined into one (long) volume. It follows Dirty Lawyer and Dirty Boss, but most coordinates with Dirty Lawyer. Reid Maxwell is the ice cold older brother of Cat from Dirty Lawyer. He is a corporate lawyer and an investment shark, taking no prisoners. He has enemies, those he’s burned along the way, and in this book he has to face them down.
One enemy is Carrie West, whose father was pushed out of his company by Reid. She is now leading it, but only until Reid takes over, and she hates that he’s taken her father’s legacy.
She plots revenge and buys him at a bachelor auction only to leave him handcuffed in a hotel room at the end of the night. She knows who he is, but he doesn’t know her.
The next morning, he discovers who she is when he shows up for his first day in charge of her father’s company.
All of this happens at the very start of a long book. I didn’t give it 5 stars because it was just too long—not enough happened to fill the pages. Reid’s big bad secret and business wars dragged out more than they could have. I received review copies of all 3 books in this series, and liked Dirty Lawyer best. Dirty Boss did not overlap with these two much, but also wasn’t as focused as Dirty Lawyer. This one is focused—it really is a pretty straightforward story of a man coming to terms with his past—but it’s far longer than the other two and really didn’t need to be. Walker security features in the book, including Savage, from other Jones books.
Carrie and Reid’s relationship pushes and pulls around their trust issues, and any conflict is resolved with sex. Lots of conflict and lots of sex. They do get a pretty nice HEA, and the only major plot string left in these books is the story of Gabe, Reid and Cat’s brother. I hope that he gets a story. Thanks for the opportunity to read these books!

Reid Maxwell is a lawyer who works with his father and brother at the family firm. His sister, Cat, makes both Reid and his brother Gabe participate in a charity auction for children. A mystery woman in an emerald dress bids $50,000 for Reid. She bid anonymously and won’t tell Reid her name. She takes him to her hotel room to have a one night stand.
The mystery woman lets Reid bring her pleasure and then she cuffs him to the couch. She tells him that her name is Carrie West. Reid stole her family’s company from her father, but she is still running West Industries. There is definitely more to the story between Reid and the reason behind taking over West Industries. Reid is acting CEO but Carrie has a chance to win back the company. She can become CEO again but she has to follow Reid’s rules.
The mystery of what the debt is between Carrie’s father and Reid’s father kept me on my toes. Poor Reid couldn’t tell Carrie anything and it was killing him the more he got to know her. I loved how Reid opened up to Carrie about his feelings and everything else. I hated both of their fathers for hurting their children.
I have loved each story in this series.

One of the things I love best about a Lisa Renee Jones book are her characters. They sharp, intense, intelligent and lusty. The push-pull between Reid Maxwell and Carrie West is so emotionally and sexually charged it's palpable and practically radiates off the page. Wow, just wow, is what I thought and felt as I devoured each page trying to find out what would happened next.
Reid is successful, driven, gorgeous, sexier than should be legal and an arrogant a$$hole who's shrouded in secrets. In Carrie he's met his match. She bested him once, stands her ground, is the perfect foil for his arrogance and she's Reid's worst nightmare as well as his sexiest wet dream. From the boardroom to the bedroom Reid and Carrie are a force to be reckoned with despite blackmail, a family feud, deeply buried secrets, and corporate manipulations.
I was in awe of Carrie's strength and resolve to stand by Reid and give him that soft place to fall that he's never had in his life. As Reid falls deeper in love with Carrie, the missing pieces of himself finally fall into place and instead of holding himself apart he fully embraces his family for the first time as he vanquishes his enemies.

Wow this where the fun starts he's bought for 1 million dollars by the most beautiful woman, Carrie West. He wonders what's her game, who is she, but he plans to give her a million-dollar night. The is a fun fast-paced story as we navigate the corporate world, the wheeling and dealing and one woman trying to save her father's company at all costs. She knows all about Reid's reputation, and how he stole her father's company in a hostile takeover. I love Carrie and Reid together we see a human side to the corporate lawyer; he really does have a sense of humor and a heart as he quickly falls under her spell and wants her to succeed and win back the family business. A captivating story with secrets, lies and deception that could end in heartbreak for them when everything is revealed. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Reid is Cat's older colder brother and a corporate lawyer. He has made many along the way and one of them is Carrie. Carrie is running her father's company for now since Reid is taking over it. Then there is an auction, handcuffs, and some embarrassment for Reid. Imagine Reid's surprise when on his first day of leading Carrie's father's company he meets the woman from the auction. Oh boy, let the hijinks begin. There is definitely plenty of sex in this story and they do get their HEA ending. I love that Savage from Walker Security is in it and look forward to a book about him and also Carrie's other brother Gabe. This book was longer than the other two books in this series and I highly recommend it. I also like to read all of her books in order because of the repeated mentioning of characters which makes for even more interest.

Lisa Renee Jones brings these wonderful characters to life and pulls you in from the very first page to the very last. I was so pleased that there were two parts to Carrie’s and Reid’s story that were included in one book. The story has love, intrigue, self-reflection, and absolutely wonderful characters!
Even though this book could be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading Dirty Lawyer and Dirty Boss books first to understand all the history and nuances of these wonderful characters.
If you love romance, suspense, and incredible steamy scenes, you’ll love this! Remember that friendship you share is a gift. Protect it, nurture it, and never take it for granted.

Dirty Enemy is a wonderful read. Book 6 in the Scandalous Billionaire series and this is Reid's book. Reid is the oldest of the Maxwell kids. He is more serious and comes off as cold hearted. But just hold on and you will fully enjoy him. Reid is so much more in this enemies to live read. Family rivals between the fathers but wanting to fix the past is Reid and Carrie's story. Carrie wants nothing more than to get her family company back under her control and willing to do anything. You cannot deny the chemistry between Carrie and Reid. I love them together so much. You will enjoy the affect Carrie has on Reid in this one. I love the little added suspense in this one and the rest of the series and how everyone bands together. You need to one click this one today.

Dirty Rival is the sixth book in the Scandalous Billionaires series by Lisa Renee Jones. I'll admit that starting it was kind of daunting because it's such a long book (over 700 pages!), but once I started reading, I was so immersed, it was really hard to put it down!
Reid Maxwell is the older brother of Cat from Dirty Lawyer. Carrie West is his bitter business rival due to a hostile takeover, but together, they are scorching hot! The way the book started was sizzling! It'll suck you in and won't let go until the end! I loved it! I love the whole series, but this one is by far my favorite! This is a must-read, but be prepared to stay up late into the night because you won't be able to put the book down! Way more than five stars!

This is the 6th book in the Scandalous Billionaires series. Like the others, it can be read as a standalone. This story has a nice mix of captivating and passionate moments. Add in some spicy, seductive romance and strong, sassy characters it all leads to an entertaining and engaging story to read. It is told in dual POV’s which does go along way in getting to know the characters Carrie and Reid and becoming engrossed in their story. Add in the cut throat corporate world and it makes an captivating and intriguing story that moves along at a good pace. Overall it is a worthwhile read and a great additional to the series.

I wish I could give this book more than 5 stars!!! This is by far my most favourite book in the series so far and I really really liked the 1st two books. The writing was amazing, with that undertone of suspense that I love about this authors writing. This series and these characters I am just in love with!!! I have probably stated this in most of my reviews, but it's like coming home to old friends and feeling comfortable. This story has it's shares of ups and downs and I love the mystery and who is behind it feel to this book. Will Reid and Carrie get their happily ever after, you will have to read to find out, but I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Part 1
The story of Reid and Carrie is really good, this first part is full of drama, pain, a little humor,strong chemistry, and two people falling in love in the midst of two fathers locked in a vindictive battle.
Part 2
There was so much happening in part 2 of Carrie and Reid's story. The feud between both fathers continued, and decisions jad to be made. Carrie and reid worked through all the drama that was thrown at them and got through it. This was a really good book. I highly recommend it.

I loved the story, the characters were amazing but it was so repetitive I kept thinking, just get on with it. It is a shame because all the others were so good and this one would have been otherwise. Reid and Carrie are so combustible together and make a dynamite duo and a force to be reckoned with. Reid evolved so much in this book and all his skeletons are removed from the closet with the support of Carrie, and his friends. A lovely ending that I am glad I stayed for but it was a slog at times .

Reid is a lawyer who works at the family firm and Carrie runs her family company that Reid took over in a corporate takeover. I loved how the author brought Reid and Carrie together at a bachelor auction and how these rivals ended up falling for each other. Reid desperately wanted to tell her the truth about their fathers and she wanted to win back control of her family's company. From the intense chemistry, secrets, and suspense, to the enemies to lovers storyline this is a great addition to the Scandalous Billionaires series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

The chemistry between Carrie and Reid from the moment she handcuffs him naked to a chair and leaves him in a hotel room all through the book is so hot. He’s such an asshole but she bestes him. This book is everything you want in an enemies to lovers book. It has intrigue, success, old friends, new friends, enemies, and so much hot sex. I love it. Thanks Lisa. Reid is Cat's older brother, and he is a hard man. Carrie is the daughter of the man whose company Reid took over. She really isn't happy about it and wants to destroy Reid. She buys him in an auction and then leaves him in a compromising position. He is shocked when he finds Carrie the next day at work. Sparks fly between them as they start working together. What will happen between them next?
This is a great story that will draw you in from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Lots of personal and corporate drama keep Carrie and Reid busy wading through the muck and mire. There is heartache, scandal and secrets that will have you shocked, teary and at times laughing. They go from pawns in their fathers' war to partners is business and in life. The ups and downs of their relationship will keep you turning pages to see how Carrie and Reid navigate towards an emotional happy ending.

Another Lisa Renee Jones great. Every book that I have read of hers has been so enjoyable. This is the story of Reid and Carrie. What a wonderful love story. Reid is the eldest of the Maxwell children. He comes with alot of baggage. Carrie seems to want to handle it. She has met the love of her life. They are a terrific pair. Don't want to give too much away. This is a definite must read. Thank you for the advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Reid and Carrie have a complicated relationship. It's explosive and genuine. He is ruthless and she is caring but not weak. They actually complete each other. This is a long book but I finished it in one day because I couldn't put it down. I had to know what was going to happen next!! There are so many characters intricately involved from their father's to their secretaries. They each play an important role in their lives and the storyline. It ends with a HEA. I'm voluntarily leaving my review.

Reid Maxwell is complex and when he gets bested by a beauty she becomes his new focus. Carrie has nothing to lose after her father is ousted as CEO and she's next to be ushered out the door, might as well go out with a bang. I absolutely loved their story. I was so engrossed in this I was lying in bed reading and my kindle died. I was so pissed but it was 3am and I decided it was a sign I needed sleep. I finished it the next day. I'm loving this series and this one might be my favorite so far.

Dirty Enemy is about Reid and Carrie and Joe their families are enemies but they meet, become lovers, work together and fall in love. It’s steamy and sexy and I couldn’t put it down. It’s a little Romeo and Juliet but different. This story is romantic and reads quickly. There are characters from other series but is a stand alone read.

Reid and Carrie's story was totally captivating. I absolutely loved the chemistry between these two and I thoroughly enjoyed the tension and twists that kept me laser focused and hanging on every word.
