It’s all about the #Selfie.

She was the one girl I never wanted.

Until I had her.

One night.

One mistake.

Something we both wanted to forget.

I got rid of the proof. The one piece of evidence that could remind us both.

At least, I thought I did.

When it shows up on the school Buzzfeed, rumors fly. Friendships are tested and the feels get real.

I don’t do relationships. I don’t open my heart.

Especially for a girl everyone knows I hate.

What happens during spring break, stays in spring break.

Until it follows you home.

The Sexiness Continues!!

We first meet Braeden and Ivy in the book one of this ‘sports romance’ series, “#Nerd,” as the best friends of Romeo and Rimmel.

Braeden and Ivy cannot stand each other. They barely tolerate being in the same room. But, ..... one night on a beach in Florida over spring break changes everything.

’We were like two sides of velcro that fused together to create an unbreakable bond. I was the rough side and she was the soft. Normally, I wouldn’t say there was one soft thing about Ivy Forrester, but tonight was different.

Tonight, it was all I could feel. There wasn’t a single, solitary rough thing about the girl in my arms.

All the insults, snide looks, and barely contained dislike we slung at each other over and over for months piled up. It created a stack of tinder, a mound of kindling that up until this moment had stayed cold and dry.

 But no more.’

And so begins the enemies to lovers romance featuring the cocky, ‘all I ever want is to have fun,’ jock star Braeden, and the smart-mouthed, high maintenance girly girl Ivy, who is totally off-limits. Throw into the mix another hunky football star, Trent, who has it bad for Ivy, and Ivy’s best friend, Missy, who is still hung up on Braeden, and yep ... sparks are gonna fly!

”I still don’t like you.”

”I still don’t like you either.”

Regret, guilt, shame, lust, and pure chemistry runs rampant!

”This can never happen again.”

”I’m not interested in a repeat.”

”What happens in spring break stays in spring break.”

Okey dokey! Let’s see how that works out for you both?

Braeden’s charm and sarcasm slayed me, but he has met his match with the quick witted Ivy!

Braeden's book is the book in this series I've been looking forward to the most! He is a great best friend to Romeo, and don't even get me started with his relationship with Rimmel- it's by far my favorite thing about this series! I love their brother/sister bond. I was a little hesitant about the heroine being Ivy. I wasn't sure if she would be a good fit for B, or if I would like her. I'm happy to report that she was great and Ivy and Braeden together fit perfectly. Their love/hate relationship grew to being just love and it was a nerve wrecking yet fun journey.

I listened to the audio of #Selfie and it was one of those audio experiences that made me think... I have really got to start listening to samples before I keep buying these! B's voice didn't work for me.The accent was strange and he sounded too old. It just threw me off. I want to jump in the next one on audible, but I'm going to hold off until I have time to read because I'm not putting myself through listening again! Overall, I do love this series and I highly recommend if you're looking for a fun NA!

I just love this series. I have been dying for Braeden's book and it didn't disappoint. If you have got this far in the series, you know what a kind and loving soul he can be, so now we get to find out the story behind his disdain for Ivy. They hurl insults at each other at every turn, and he can be a cruel and arrogant prick when he wants to be, but we all know that there is a fine line between love and hate and this book showed us that in spades.

" I might not be good at talking, but I knew how to move between the sheets."

Behind the perfectly polished Ivy, there is a really sweet girl who has made a lot of mistakes in her past but wants to make up for them.

I had so many FEELS and I could not put this book down.

The best book in the Hashtag series so far brings us the story of Braeden and Ivy.

He's Romeo's best friend and Rimmel's self-appointed big brother.

She's Rimmel's roommate, best friend and the girl that kissed Romeo before Rim got a chance.

These two hate each other you know...

So then why can't they stay away from one another?

Cambria Hebert has such a great writing style that makes you NOT want to put down the book once you pick it up and that's how you end up sleeping only a few hours a night and finishing her book in no more then a day...her stories are addictive :D

Can't wait for the next part of Braeden and Ivy's story especially after the author ended this book with three little words about what to expect from the next book "Zack is back" :D

I was looking forward to starting this book so bad. Braeden’s character intrigued me in the first three books of this series. He was so obnoxious and hilarious. I loved him so much and I couldn’t wait to read his story. Especially when I found out it was going to be with Ivy.
But when I started this book, I was so upset with how it turned out. Braeden was an ASSHOLE! I hated him so much. He was very mean to say the least. His ‘connection’ with Ivy was nonexistent. The book started out with them having sex and I was so confused. I didn’t see it coming. I didn’t feel their attraction. The author just decided to put them as a couple without any connection whatsoever. After their ‘hot sex scene’, the story moved on.
200 pages later, nothing has happened with Ivy and Braeden. They have yet to have a normal conversation without spouting off insults and comments that did nothing to help the plot. All of a sudden, Braeden realizes he cares for her?!!?!?!??!
What.
When did that happen?
I was shocked when he realized that because nothing remotely close to friendship occurred between them. They fought all the time and they never talked about personal things. Oh and lets not forget when he described her ass as “porn worthy”. Best line in the whole book. Made me understand how much respect he has for her.
Actually that was not the best line in the book. My favorite was when he called her a SLUT!!
WTF.
And poor, poor Ivy didn’t care that he didn’t apologize when she slept with him after he said that!
It gets better.
He never apologizes for that little comment. He just excuses his behavior for being jealous. So basically he’s forgiven since it was just a reflex to his jealousy.
Another thing that bothered me was how he kept calling Ivy “woman”. It was so annoying. He kept acting fucking macho and bad ass.

“Woman, don’t you know better than to insult a man’s truck?”
“Woman, I’m always hungry.”
“Get me some sugar, Woman,”
“You watch your mouth, woman,” I warned.“Is that all, woman?”
“Come here, woman,” he growled.

There were just so many things that bothered me in this book for me to remember. What upset me the most was the lack of romance. The previous books had SO MUCH romance. They had a YA feel to them, even though they were NA. They were sweet yet sexy.
But this book was just awful. There was too much drama. Totally unnecessary. And the sex scenes were too detailed. That was not how the sex scenes in the other books were written.
Also Braeden kept thinking about her physically. He only cared about sleeping with her. It was off-putting.
I went reading this book thinking it would be as good as the first three. But it was totally different. I thought it was written by a different author.
I just really disliked Braeden’s character. That was not how I envisioned him.
And the deal breaker for me in this book was the lack of respect for the females. They were treated as objects. Especially Ivy. Braeden had NO respect for her at all.
Not continuing this series.
Romeo and Rimmel will always be in my heart though <3

5 "Blondie" stars

We met Ivy & Breaden in the in story about Romeo & Rimmel!
They were their best friends who never liked each other and always had something sassy to say. In this book we are meeting these two people who turned out to be full of surprises!

Ivy is the blond bombshell who liked to party and.. boys ! Until one night when she ended up with the wrong guy and with that she did a harm to her friends. Not long after that she decided that she needs to be herself , not the girl she thinks is better to be. Despite that she was surrouned by her friends she was lonley , never felt good enough or pretty enough .. no matter how sassy or funny she would be, the fancy clothes or shiny hair, the loneliness never left her..

Breaden is the bad boy don't do relationships. He is Rimmel's self-appointed big brother and Romeo's best friend ( I love the BROMANCE!!!), funny sexy and alluring. He is the guy who has a hot temper aaand panties-dropping face and body!
His love-hate relationship with Ivy was something that they practicing everyday, with snarky comments and snapping.

But during one spring break everything changed..

One thing leads to another but they can't affort the have a relationship.. too many complications comes with that and they decieded to never talk about it.. But what happens in spring break stays in spring break.. WELL, NO!
After that night they can't shake off the feeling of each other, their passion and lust for each other. Every day was a torture for them, not to talk, beside their usual comments to each other, not to touch and feel again the feeling of that night.

“We never really had a beginning. For months, we fought and insulted each other. Then we combusted into bed. We pretended what happened didn't matter, but it did..„

The feelings they develop to each other didn't fade away, if anything they became stonger. The lust the feel is something that they couldn't fight anymore so they give in to the temptation again...

But this time they wouldn't stop ! This time they will fight to be together! They had their ups and downs, they had their fights and complex personalities, but despite everything they found out each other, the person who complete and understand you. Even the ugly parts of you, even the desicion you are not proud of. Their possesivnss, their protectivness towards each other was the thing that kept them fighting and loving! And together they were funny and sweet as hell!

“This is me swearing I won't let it again. This is me swearing this is our beginning. You're it for me.„

As far as I can say this series are ADDICTIVE! This stories makes you keep reading and don't stop until you are finish with the story! I love the friendships, the real feelings, the drama and the fighting providing by EVERYONE in these books. Every character is fighter in his own way and they never stop before they get what they want! So yes I am clinging to these books and I won't let down till I am finished !!!

I practically zoomed through the first three books in this series just so I could read #Selfie.

There was a lot of build-up to get to this point, with Braeden and Ivy featuring heavily on-page throughout the series as Romeo and Rimmel’s best friends, respectively. Their snarky banter and supposed disdain for one another provided some seriously entertaining scenes in earlier books, and it was only a matter of time before their UST became too much (for them and for us) and they collided in a sexually combustible way that was all sorts of delicious!

What starts out as hate-sex quickly evolves into more, which is highly inconvenient considering Braeden doesn’t do “feelings” and Ivy feels she's violated girl-code because her friend Missy desperately wants Braeden for herself.

I was honestly surprised by how much I came to like Ivy. Initially (in the earlier books) she didn’t make the greatest impression and she seemed like the kind of girl I would never get along with. But as the series progressed, I began to admire her for her decision to make positive changes in her fairly messy life, and I couldn’t help but love the way she was unconditionally there for Rimmel, even though they appeared to be polar opposites in all things, at least to begin with. Ivy most certainly earned my respect by the time I was done with this book, which is kind of a big deal, especially considering some of the things I was saying about her early on.

As for Braeden, I can’t help but go all gaga over the guy. I’ve loved him from the start, both as Romeo’s BFF and eventually as Rimmel’s BBFL (AKA, Big Brother for Life), and I was so god damn excited to finally get to this point in the series and get his POV. Once here I was a little surprised by his backstory and how hot-headed he could get – I guess perspective is everything. At times I couldn’t decide whether I wanted to punch him in the nads or lick his face. Seriously, the guy got me all sorts of worked up, good and bad, but ultimately I couldn’t help but love him even more than I expected.

This was a bit of a slow-burn in reverse, with the pair sleeping together at the start of the story and then spending the majority of the book dancing around their growing feelings. They had to man-up and face the potentially disastrous repercussions of wanting to be with one another when they felt all the odds were insurmountably stacked against them. Not to mention, they still kind of hated each other most of the time - maybe, sort of. In truth, it was quite an emotional pickle, but I enjoyed myself immensely and I loved the way their relationship unfolded.

I liked them individually, but I absolutely loved Ivy and Braeden as a couple. Honestly, Romeo and Rimmel best watch out because I think I might prefer these two as my fave Hashtag couple!

Needless to say, I loved this addition to the already highly addictive Hashtag series and I can’t wait to read more about these frenemies-turned-lovers.

3 ** scratching my head** stars

#Selfie is a standalone and is part of the Hashtag series. The first three books are Romeo and Rim’s story (whom I love and adore). The next book is #Poser, which continues Braeden’s (B) story from #Selfie, but #Selfie is a standalone.

I will have to put this disclaimer out there. I love the series. I’m a mega fan of Romeo and Rim, but I had a secret crush on B from the first book, #Nerd. I love how funny, abrasive and egotistical B was throughout the series. I find his relationship with Rim adorable, cute and kind. So I had high expectations going into #Selfie.

I waited to do the audio because I was curious to see how my experience would be verse reading the series, like I did with the first three books.

If you follow my reviews, you know I post positive reviews. No, I don’t love every book I read, but if I don’t like a book, I just don’t post a review. But I feel like it’s my duty to put this out there.
When you do an audio book there are certain expectations you set as a listener. I love dual POV audio books. There’s something about listening to a male’s voice that just makes my experience better and more enhanced. I agree with the author, B’s voice was disappointing.

Don’t get me wrong, the narrator’s voice is lovely, but it didn’t fit B’s personality. Also, it’s obvious that the voice is an older man, a man in his 40’s and 50’s, which doesn’t fit with B’s twenty-something character. Usually when I listen to a voice I’m not fond of, I eventually get into it. So on the bright side, after a few hours, it didn’t bother me so much anymore and I could get into the story.

If you do not plan to do the audio, then here are my thoughts about the book.

There are mixed reviews for #Selfie, you either loved it or thought it was okay. I would say #Selfie has the most angst in the series and B is painted into a different light in this book. He’s got some flaws and it’s apparent in the story.

I’m not a fan of angst and I had certain perceptions of B from the beginning of the series, so that played a huge role while I listened to #Selfie.

B is a ladies man, he’s abrasive and doesn’t want a serious relationship. Ivy is your typical college girl, trying to find herself, but also try to have a good time. She’s beautiful and put together, but not everything is what it seems and there’s more to her than the make-up and blonde hair.

B and Ivy’s relationship pretty much start out with insta-lust. I have no issues with this, but it set the tone for the relationship between the two. Ivy has a huge complex because Missy has a crush on B and well, you just don’t hook up with your friend’s crush. Girl code right?

It’s hard to empathize for Missy. I understand Ivy’s concerns because Ivy wants to not hurt her friend, but at the same time, B gave no indication that he wanted anything with Missy, so shouldn’t Missy just simply move on? This kind of led to the “secret” throughout the whole book.

B is a hard Hero to love. In the first three books he’s pretty much drama-free and happy-go-lucky (at least in my eyes), but in #Selfie you see a lot of his issues. He’s not romantic and sometimes his gestures towards Ivy can be kind of harsh. There’s a point in the book where he called her an offensive name and it was hard for me to move past that, he’s not the perfect Hero and that dynamic gives him may layers to work through.

The whole book focuses on how B and Ivy’s not so easy relationship. Ivy tries to date other people to move past B, but of course no one measures up to him. When a Heroine dates other people, it always makes me want to slap the character, because it doesn’t do any good for the “nice guy” that is kind of used. Hopefully Trent gets his book.

Secrets are revealed later on and you take it as it comes. It will either shock or like me kind of confuse you, but you go with it.

I understand the glowing reviews. It’s an angst filled book with a complex Hero and a damage girl. A lot is revealed in the book and it kind of starts the momentum for #Poser.

I love Ivy’s narrator for this book. She’s light, cute and very girlie. I imaged Ivy completely as I was listening to it and maybe that is why I agree more with Ivy than B.

I wouldn’t compare B and Ivy’s relationship with Romeo and Rim. Both couples are very different and both stories go into a different direction. If you like a bit of angst and are curious to how B changes, then #Selfie is for you.

I loved this book so much! That isn’t such a surprise, because I loved the other books in this amazing series, but it surpassed my expectations. This book is definitely a favorite of mine and I will reread in the future.

After reading three books of Romeo and his forever girl Rimmel, an adorable couple. It’s time for the best friend of Romeo, Braeden, to find his forever girl which will be Ivy, the best friend of Rimmel.

The friends are in Florida for their spring break. After a week of being there, things get heated between Ivy and Braeden on the beach, under the stars. They both regret the night and they still don’t like each other, but can’t stop thinking about that night and each other. When they’re back at school, Ivy avoids him because she is ashamed and feels guilty for betraying her best friend Missy. Eventually their paths cross on several occasions and it doesn’t take long before they can’t deny their attraction any longer.

Braeden is as amazing as I thought he would be. He is very protective over his family (which include his friends), he’s got a temper, can be romantic and he has a secret no one knows but Romeo. He acts like he doesn’t have a care in the world, but this isn’t true. Ivy isn’t who I thought she would be. She may act like she’s very confident, because she’s actually a very insecure girl and she carries a lot of guilt for what she did with Zach. I sometimes felt sad while reading her inner thoughts. I absolutely loved them together, they’re perfect for each other! They had to overcome several obstacles for them to finally be together and then being a couple isn’t easy. Rimmel en Romeo make plenty of appearances and I’m very happy to read that they’re still very much in love.

There are several good twists in this book. It kept me reading and is the reason why I read the book in one day! The biggest twist is the revelation of the #BuzzBoss. I have been wondering who it could be since book #1. While reading, I kept on guessing and changing who I thought it would be. When it was revealed, I was shocked. The revelation has of course caused some problems between people.

I am very happy that there will be another book for Ivy and Braeden. This book doesn’t end with a cliffhanger, but there are several things left unsolved at the end of the book. I also would like to read more of Ivy and Braeden being together as a couple, because it took a long time for them to actually admit that they are attracted to each other. I totally get why it took so long, but I just need to read more of them being together.

⋰⋱⋰⋱⋰⋱*Didn't enjoy it*⋰⋱⋰⋱⋰⋱

The fourth book centers around Romeo's best friend Braeden ‘B’ James Walker (21) and Rimmel's best friend sophomore Ivy Forrester. The two of them have been throwing insults at each other since they've met, however one day on the last day of the vacation everything change. The book doesn't necessary have an enemy, however, ‘BuzzBoss’ is probably the closest thing to that. The story is more about Braeden finding his ‘one girl’ like Romeo and Ivy finding herself. That, though, doesn't mean the their journey will be easy. Some information might break one... Overall, it was boring, I didn't enjoy it at all. I couldn't connect with the characters and Braeden wasn't hot enough for me to even enjoy him. I did like, however, his relationship with his BBFL, Rimmel and his bro, Romeo. That's probably the best thing with the book. Now I kinda just want be finished with the series so I can be done with it. So many books left -.-
The fact that she was even lying here in this bed with me right now was a freaking miracle. I’d never treated any girl so horribly in my life.
Wasn’t that a sobering thought?
The one woman I wanted above all others was the one I treated the worst.

Quick basic facts:
Genre: - (New Adult) Contemporary Romance.
Series: - Series, Book Four.
Love triangle? -
Cheating? -
HEA? -
Favorite character? - Roman ‘Romeo’ Anderson.
Would I read more by this author/or of series? - Yes.
Would I recommend this book/series? - Not sure
Will I read this again in the future? - No.

I tried guys. I swear I did, but I just realized I've been emotionally constipated with this book for months. I haven’t given a shit about it ever since I read it.

I was surprised that I enjoyed the first book in the series so I tried reading this one.But I've always known that NA is really not for me. #SELFIE is so NA-ish that I just can't help the eyerolls and the gaggings while reading the book.
I hate the characters, I hate the plot and what's the point of trying to enjoy the book if you already hate it in the beginning?

I think people who loves NA romance would enjoy this one. But for me,it's just too sweet, so annoying and the cliche is too much that I want to gurgle some mouthwash just to stop gagging.

Moral of the story:I'd better stick to adult contemporary romance in the future.

I have to admit. When I pick up the audio book, I am hesitate because the cover and the blurb promising a lot of stupid silly spring break that kind of story. And the first 10% it is THAT spring break that you want to forget and remember for the rest of your life. I almost shelf it under DNF. But then this book turns into something different.
Yes it is still that annoying spring break experience but offers more depth.

Like the negative effect of social media. The highlight of NA who trying so hard to fit in. The taunting of social media, the being stupid and careless and regret it later. I really like how the author peeling one by one the life of NA. It has so many moral messages that we have to carry into our adult life.

The writing is similar to Samantha Young. Even though Samantha Young writes mainly for adult audience. I love this book and looking forward to read her other books.

Title: #Selfie
Series: Hashtag, #4
Author: Cambria Hebert
Release Date: 18 May, 2015
Rating: 4 stars
Cliffhanger: No
HEA:

I'm a big fan of the Hashtag series! I loved both Romeo and Rimmel in all previous 3 books and i was pretty anxious on reading Braeden's story because Braeden is the man!

Despite the fact that i love this series, I'll be the first to admit that the whole story (all 4 books together) is a little far fetched and some parts will definitely seem a bit soap-operish, but hey, that's fiction right?

I haven't written any reviews for any book in the series so I'll do my best not to include any spoilers in this one.

So, obviously #Selfie has different MCs so, theoretically speaking, it could be read as a standalone but i'd advise you to read the other books before getting your hands on this one. If not, I'm pretty sure you won't get the whole picture and it'll be difficult to connect with all characters.

The Hashtag series reminds me a lot of Gossip Girl. A huge part of the story is the presence of #BuzzBoss messing with everyone's lives, especially Romeo's and Rimmel's and later on Braeden's and Ivy's. Romeo and Braeden are best friends, football players and two of the most hot and popular guys on campus. Rimmel and Ivy are roomates and eventually best friends. Rimmel is the 'nerd' type, both on the outside and on the inside, and Ivy is the trendy into-her-looks type.

Braeden and Ivy don't like each other, mostly because of the fact that Braeden used to date Ivy's best friend Missy - and by date i mean occasionally hook-up but was always honest with her that there would never be anything more between them. Anyway, Braeden and Ivy are constantly fighting and are into each other's troats - sexual tension much??? - but they're forced to hang around each other because of Rome and Rimmel. And then Spring Break happens...

But what happens in spring break stays in spring break right? WRONG! Add in some drama and unexpected twists and that's #Selfie!!! Even though i did love Braeden and Ivy together their connection was kinda off especially during the second half of the book and that's why it was a 4-star read for me.

It would be unfair if i didn't mention Cambria Hebert's genius writing style! I'm usually not into super drama, angst and over the edge stories (and i'm mostly talking about the previous books in this series) but Cambria Hebert has the gift in turning her books into page-turners so, yeah, I'm a fan!!!

Series: The Hashtag Series (Braeden & Ivy's story)
Genre: New Adult. College Romance.

:: 5 Pretty Little Stars ::

I loved this one! It's just as beautiful and sweet as Rimmel and Romeo's story but with a little more angst and LOTS of drama. This one starts the beginning of Braeden's love story (he is Romeo's best friend and has had several appearances in the previous books). When we meet him in the first three books we get a little peak into his soul (he comes off as a badass but it really as sweet as pie) but in this one we get a while new look at Braeden get to understand how he ticks and the reason he is the way he is. Now, while he does come off as a big player in the beginning, as the book progresses we get a better look at his life and personality and we can see the sparks fly as his heart begins to open. Cambria does a wonderful job creating his character and I fell even more in love with him than I was in the first few books. So, which female has ultimately stolen his heart? None other than his "enemy" Ivy.

When readers first meet Ivy (in the previous books) we are lead to believe that she is a bit conceited and full of herself. But as she develops a relationship with Rimmel, she puts readers at ease because we are able to see through her façade. Braeden however, doesn't seem to care for her and the feeling is mutual. The two do a lot of bickering back and forth and their relationship as friends is a bit unsteady. But, the two begin to see that maybe their love hate relationship is something more... Should what happens at spring break STAY in spring break? Or will the two be there for one another through a series of unfolding dramas that are dead set on ruining their lives?

Once again, Cambria Heber hits the nail on the head with this series. Readers are able to get to know a range of amazing characters- all of whom are easily relatable- and fall in love with them. This is, by far, one of my absolute favorite series EVER and I think everyone should check it out. Seriously, its heartwarming, has a bit of drama and angst to make it exciting, but is filled with love stories that will make your heart soar. A Must Read!

book 4 of the #Nerd series - I did enjoy Ivy and Braeden, there story was fun and flirty - although not as believable for my taste!! It probably would have served me better to take a series break and not binge on ahead with this one after finishing up 1-3!! Some books are good to binge the whole series, some over extend themselves - it's hard to gauge!! Either way, this is a good series - takes place in college, although did have more of a YA feel to it for me than NA.

Didn't know if I should rate it 1 or 2 stars... so 1.5 it is!

Ok, do you know all the typical cliches romance books have?
Some have annoying characters, others are too long and boring, some others have idiotic dialog and most of them are 110% unrealistic? Ah, and let's not forget the ones who have all those perfect girls and boys, where the main characters are as complex as a shoe box and the chemistry between them is as hot as the weather in North Pole.
Well, take all these, put them together and you have this book!
I mean, the main character was such a princess! Poor little her, she looked stunning but she had low self esteem, she had so many friends yet she was utterly alone, she had so many problems, poor thing!
Ah, and the plot was so confusing! So many things happened to this girl in such a short time and yet it was a boring read.
At least the writing was decent (not good, but decent), I didn't throw the book after the first 5 pages. And I smiled once, hence the 0.5 extra stars.
All in all, nope. If you've read more than 5 romance books in your life, I'd say stay away from this one.

P.S.
This pic (the cover of the next book in the series, same main female char) is perfect for you guys to understand Ivy's personality:

Hmm.. Well, the other night I could not find anything to read. I was on GR and Amazon, triangulating suggestions and settled on something with a sports theme. So, okay, got that settled .. now what to read. I looked and looked and finally settled on this one. Well, the H is a football player, but that's about it. No details about football or really much reference at all. So, you have to take some points off a rating for "false advertising."

I've wanted to read a book in this series for a while. I love the premise and the covers are cute. I didn't want to get sucked into a series though, so hesitated. I found this one. I think it stands on its own well. I also will tell you, I got it out of my system. I won't be reading others in the series. It was less than okay. I skimmed much of it and struggled to read the last 30% or so. Mediocre with NOTHING unique. Nothing that sucked the reader in and I'm surprised I finished it.

I give this one 2.5 Stars. It was going to be 2 Stars, but I rather enjoyed the very last chapter, so will bump it a bit -- feeling generous. Hope your following my convoluted logic; I took points away for false advertising, and then added those back.

Happy Reading!

This story was one I looked so forward too! I loved Braeden and Ivy in the previous ones. But I must admit that I didn't like Ivy in the beginning maybe that's a bit strong I liked her but I had problems with a few actions. Now in this one we got a clearer picture of the why and all the explanation we needed.

I so love to see Rim and Romeo too! I so love the brother sister bond Braeden and Rim have! It's so much fun and adorable!

I also had a suspicion of who the Buzz Boss was and I was right! That was so weird and also a bit eye opening.

I would so recommend this series! Go read it!!

I would have given this book 5 stars but the cover annoys me so much I just can't. Who is this guy with his tongue hanging out like Miley Cyrus? Is that supposed to be attractive? Are we supposed to assume that this guy is Braeden?

I seriously love this series but every time I went to pick up my e-reader I would just cringe looking at the book cover.

1.5 stars.
No words!
I decided to read this book after I started reading #Junkie and almost halfway through it, I discovered that all the characters are in the 6(!) books that are in the #Hashtag series.
I think it is possible to read #Junkie as a stand alone, but I did not like the "holes" in the story, and felt I needed some background stories. It felt "chopped" to me.

Oh dear...
There was NOT ONE cliché that the author skipped!
This is NOT the fact that this is a NA, I actually picked these books because I wanted a light, fun break.
it's the writing style, the silly plot, and the characters that did not act like young men and women in college. They felt and behaved like mid-high school teens.

I must say, that, about 50% of #Junkie that I read before starting this one, is a lot better!

4.25 stars!
I had some trouble in the beginning to get into the story. I was so hung up on Rimmel and Romeo, that I couldn't connect with Braeden and Ivy. But like they were growing on each other, they were growing on me. So I'm jumping into book five now to see how their story continues...

When you ask yourself 'what the hell I've been waiting for to read this for so long!??'

Every book that gives me that kind of a feeling when I wake up and everything I want to do is to continue reading it deserves 5 stars from me!

I've enjoyed and loved the story of Braeden and Ivy. I just love enemies to lovers tropes! And those two did it justice. And the bromance between B and Rome is EVERYTHING!!!
The moment I started reading it I had a smile so wide plastered on my face.
I love the way Cambria writes. She pulls you right in and the only thing left to do is to devour everything!

It's funny, it's sexy, it's exciting, a bit dramatic and a whole lot of addictive! One of the best reads for me this year.

I'm so excited we got Braeden's book! Romeo and Rimmel are great together and now they seem stable so it's nice to see the BBFL, Big Brother For Life get a special girl. Ivy is a sweet girl and after what happened with Zach, I'm happy to see her find love. Braeden is hilarious and Ivy is sassy back to him and this whole book was a lot of fun. We also learned more about the Buzz Boss's identity. I'm excited to read the next book!

The fourth and fifth book of this series is about Braden and Ivy.
It is kind of cute, how much in denial they are. The leads of the first three books are still in these books, but they are side characters now.
