A sunny little mystery set in an amazing Florida Keys location. I absolutely loved Remy’s character—he ran a seaside bar and grill. Cap, the local mystery writer who hung out there was pretty cool. Harry was lotsa fun and so carefree I really hope he finds his way into Melody’s next adventure or at least one of the upcoming books! I wasn’t too surprised by the whodunit but by the perp’s confession of why. I’m eager to see what adventure waits for Melody in Africa and already borrowed that book!

This was a fairly short book, but packed pull of adventure and intrigue! Melody is a photographer on assignment for Earthly Escapes, tasked with taking pictures to use advertising the Paradise Palms in the Florida keys, soon to open. She’s also looking forward to meeting Harry, an old friend she hasn’t seen in a while. But while there, she and Harry have the misfortune of discovering the dead body of a local, unpopular developer! When Harry is the main suspect, he begs Melody to help him investigate the murder. A fun book, with squawky parrots and yummy sounding drinks and food!
