I finally made it out of the Dark Woods only to learn that Sawyer is in prison, our people are still at war, and the wolves are hiding underground. It will take every ounce of strength I have in order to save our people, get my man back, and bring down the queen.
I can't do this alone, and calling on an old friend proves to be the best decision I could ever make. Nothing will keep me from my mate, not even the magical world's most high security prison.
You will love the twists and turns in this epic conclusion to the bestselling Wolf Girl series!

I finished the entire series in 3-4 days. Utterly perfect. I couldn’t stop reading. I love this world!
Demi is an alpha. Even booked for we are still learning how much power and magic that her wolf has as well as herself with being a split shifter. - she has to rally up everyone that trust her ability to be an alpha - find a way to rescue Sawyer out of prison- and to actually accomplish that is not an easy feat… sawyer has definitely changed from book one. And has gathered some unlikely lifelong friendships through prison which I’ve also made for more rescuing. - And just when you think rescuing Sawyer out of prison is the hardest task - they still need to defeat the vampires that are coming for Demi’s power. And Sawyer doesn’t want to be on the run for the rest of his life. So to clear his name is going to be a nearly impossible task.
This is also a really important part of this entire series of Sawyer meeting his son for the first time. And while I wish we got more from this couple, it did leave off on a happily ever after. And I’m excited to see that one of Sawyer‘s friends he made in prison, has his own series out. This world is so amazing and magical. I only hope this author continues to write other characters stories.

This is one of the best endings for a werewolf book that I've ever read. It's full of emotions, yet it also is totally action-packed!
I love it that the not only the main characters have grown, but also all of the other characters. I mean, war changes everyone, so I shouldn't be surprised about that. However, it's cool to see it in action (the change, I mean). I like how they became one with nature, as is more natural with stories regarding werewolves. I wish to see more of what will happen to their new land. Hopefully I see some updates in Luka's book. :)
I love this series and the way it ended. Couldn't ask for a more badass main girl! ❤️
Dnf. I tried, I really tried. This one seemed different than the previous 3. Maybe my mood changed? I no longer have a taste for an extremely young girl who’s universally adored and deferred to. She’s amazing. Matter of fact, she’s told so 12 times in 14 chapters. She also has a bestie whom she calls bestie 17 times in 14 chapters. As annoying as I found this and although I was already hardily skimming, I stopped reading when she referred to Sawyer as submissive.
I can’t even tell you how sad I am that Demi and Sawyers story is over!! 🥲 but what a way to finish!! This book we finally got Demi and Sawyer reunited, in the most intense rescue ever!!! We got to know a bit what Sawyer has been through over the past year whilst Demi was in the woods. He had a pretty nasty time in prison, but came out with forever friends/brothers. I love the story between them all. Demi came out a different person after her year away but so did Sawyer, he also came out stronger. I loved all of the new characters and some old characters!! I am still obsessed with Sage, the most underrated side character!! She felt like the main FMC at times alongside our Demi. This ending was truly heartwarming and rounded up an amazing series. I’m MEGA excited because a fellow bookstagrammer informed me there is a spin off series and now I know with what character!! 🥳🙌🏼
I just wasn’t feeling it, book 3 was a huge improvement on 2, but then the final book.. I just wanted to skim it. It was like there was too much going on.🤷♀️
Okay, so I finally got to read the ending to Demi and Sawyer's story! This series has been such a rollercoaster ride and I was so glad to finally pick up the final book.
I really loved how unpredictable this book was. The twists and turns had me totally invested. The flow of this book was fairly fast-paced but it really worked for the story. Stone has really lovely storytelling and I really fell into this story. The only thing that bothered me about the story was that I felt there was a small plot hole or an unexplored avenue where were concerned. I kind of feel like there was a missed opportunity there story-wise. It felt like the issues with were left totally unresolved. I also felt that the ending was a bit looser than I prefer. A lot of things were left open to interpretation or just left open.
The character growth in this series is pretty awesome. Demi and Sawyer both experience some very significant growth. We got to see most of Demi's growth in the previous books in this series but she still continues to amaze us in this book. We see more growth for Sawyer in this book and I really liked the bond that he formed with his prison buddies. Sage continues to be awesome in this book. She is a character that really stood out to me in this series and I was so glad to see so much of her. The secondary characters in this series are really phenomenal. I grew very attached to most of them. I absolutely loved the representation of female friendship in this series, especially in this book. The bond that Demi forms with Sage, Marmal, and Astra is so moving. I absolutely love stories that include positive and powerful female friendships and this series knocks it out of the water.
The romance in this book had me a little twisted up. On one hand, the emotion was excellent, and on the other hand, I felt that the intimacy was kind of lacking. I guess that I just expected there to be more fireworks in the bedroom in this book with Demi and Sawyer reuniting after so long but the physical scenes were a bit lackluster to me. Again, the romance wasn't lacking at all and the emotion was definitely present. Demi and Sawyer's chemistry was so familiar and natural and I was certainly glad to see them reunited.
Overall, this book was a good wrap-up to this series. There was a lot of action and a lot of emotions in this book. Even though the ending was a little too open-ended for my taste, I was happy with the ending as a whole. This series is perfect for anyone that likes stories about fated mates, strong heroines, and a mix of supernatural races. I can't wait to read the next series from this author! And lucky for me, Leia Stone has written a spin-off series featuring one of the new characters that we meet in this book! I can't wait to dive into that series.
For the love of all… please stop repeating the same stuff. It annoys me. We get it… the cringey tattoos are sexy. (Not)
I wish there were some breaks in all the commotion. It was constant go go go from book 2 on.
SPOILER PART! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
The ending just irritated the crap out of me. First off… Meredith didn’t exactly know what was going on with the love spell thing from book 1-2. She was disciplined for her actions. Why are we rubbing it in her face and being so horrible to her? I mean, I’d get it if she had been horrible throughout book 1. But she hardly spoke to Demi. Like maybe twice? Three times? Wasn’t going around bullying her or anything. She legit gave her ex a necklace that she didn’t exactly know all the details about and she was already punished. Leave it alone. How Demi forced her friend to go be with the guy she wants was a bit much. Let the girl decide for herself! What kind of person that has been cuffed a zillion times AND raped would force anything on another person? None that I know of. I really could’ve done without the entire epilogue. It was too much.
A mediocre man is in power because of his wife actions.
Objectively this book is...not good. Even when I was reading it I thought it was not good. BUT, when regarding it as part of THIS series it's alright. After reading the first three books, it seemed reasonable that this is how the series should end.
My biggest complaint about this book was Sawyer. It was so frustrating for me to watch Demi do all the hard work, free their people and Sawyer, just for him to come back and act like a big Alpha. He should be on his knees worshipping her, letting her lead both packs. She has earned it.
I actually fucking laughed out loud at his prison tats, like RIP Dad and Five Crew. Who the hell came up with that and allowed it to stay in the book?
A good ending to the series Wolf Girl. I still think that it would have been a great standalone with book 1 but except the second book the series was okay. And I enjoyed reading the last part. I don’t know if I will read the spinn off at the moment, but it will be about Luka and a Vampire Hunter.
Good ending. Was super rushed feeling. A lot happened and the ending( the conclusion of then entire series.. )was like 2 pages long and then it as over. Good book overall but I could have went for a little more.
4.5 for book #4 & for the Wolf Girl series. YA Fantasy/PNR. Wolf shifters, vampires, witches, trolls, fae [light & dark]. Deeper older magic in play as well.
Final book in the Wolf Girl series, and I'm sorry to see it end. It feels like there were a lot more stories to read here. It isn't as complex as I might prefer [or perhaps I mean as deep], but it weaves interesting storylines and keeps you reading. When the end arrives it seems a bit too quick for me. But the reader needs a break as much as the characters do. For most of the series the big-bad feels OP. We jump from ordinary ugliness of life to extraordinary power in the wrong hands. And the ride is wild. [And still I want more, when good has finally overcome evil.]
There are many memorable characters to be found here. Will we ever know more about Luka? Or Seam? Will Pearl and Marmal become more integral to a larger story? Will the Magical Council be reformed or repopulated? There's so much still open ended, but I suppose we have to stop somewhere.
Sawyer & Demi get their HEA... long fought for, and more than deserved. We may get these books in print now.
2.75 stars from what I read. I skimmed this puppy so I didn’t star review it. I honestly couldn’t get into it. The heroine was so young and immature her ability to lead anyone or anything (even her ability to direct her own life) was called into question. The separation of her wolf just was not that huge of a deal as it should have been as far as the impact on her life. I’m just kjnda glad the series ended. It picked up and dropped off again.
Intriguing concept, but won’t continue with this author.
Pretty good series! Do I think that it should have rounded off to three books instead of four? Hell yeah! Especially since the final book has less than 200 pages. But it feels good to finally say goodbye to the first supernatural series I've read in a long time. Taking a chance with Wolf Girl back in December 2020 was a good decision.
Also, Sawyer turning into a bad boy was something I didn't know I wanted to see. He was a total gentleman in the first two books and I was completely attracted to the nice boy act he had especially after reading a lot of books with only bad boy leads!
#1 Wolf Girl #2 Lost Girl #3 Alpha Girl #4 Mated Girl
Demi`s and Sawyer's roller coaster ride in terms of love, trust and pack (building) is nerve-wracking and exciting. Fantasy romance fans will love this (4) book series! The books build on each other, so it makes sense to read the books one after the other. Demi's personal development from a simple wolf girl, who grew up in exile, to the alpha she-wolf is absolutely worth reading. Leia Stone's writing style is captivating and addicting.
Yep, I'm going to be that review that goes against the grain. I was disappointed, I expected more as this is the final book in the series. There was little plot and even though there was a lot of talk about it, the actual action was minimal. Sawyer just seemed like a sidebar. I love Leia Stone, but felt like this book was rushed just to finish the series and it came up short.
What a journey this series has been! I was really curious about the last book and what was waiting for us and it did not disappoint. There is a lot of action, all the loose ends are tied nicely and every character we've met along the way gets what they deserve. At times everything happens insanely quickly and yet it never feels like things are too easy. After all, in this book the heroine doesn't need to do everything alone anymore and it's glorious to see what these characters are capable of when they're working together!
Good conclusion, however felt like it could have an even more satisfying conclusion if all the issues were resolved- regarding Walsh, Luka and the other guys.
“He had no idea that he was everything I never knew I needed.”
This book felt very rushed, and the big war that's supposed to decide the fate of the magical territories and cities didn't feel big at all. The war started in chapter 12 (really in chapter 13 and there's only 14 chapters and an epilogue) and then ended in chapter 13. It was lackluster.
***SPOILER ALERT***
Though it was a war with many parties involved, they weren't even mentioned besides the fact that "thousands of werewolves and some hundreds of witches and trolls (and a dragon)" are involved, and that they would be at the front line...which was consequently never even mentioned if there was a fight there at all or not since the focus was just the fight with the vampire queen which took place in the Dark Woods where she was lured. And that fight? Lame. There was a whole show of Sawyer feeding into Demi's powers to be stronger too and some talk about the two of them being able to take on the queen that way...only for Sawyer to get knocked out by a magical tree (lol) and for the vampire queen to be taken down by a bear. Like, a regular-barely-if-at-all-magical BEAR. LOL.
Also, I'm so over Demi constantly referring to Sawyer as her "sexy felon" and thirsting over him and his new tattoos...which IMO are incredibly lame. I think tattoos are hot, usually so in books, but the author gave him the worst possible tattoos he could have gotten that I cringe every time Demi brings them up and thinks how hot they look. He has "RIP Dad" (...), his rank "Alpha" (why??!), his own surname "Hudson" (WHY?!??!), and then "Demi" over his heart (!!?!!!!) HOW IS THAT HOT!???
I also noticed after every book in these series there were more typing errors but also inconsistencies in the story (e.g. Demi and Rab said the Dark Forest definitely won't hurt Creek since he's the next Paladin alpha, and they even use him as a shield for Sage when they went back in...and yet in the previous book a bear had attacked Sage and Creek when Demi left them to go in the cave).
ANYWAY.
I'm glad I'm finally done with this series. I'm honestly amazed I actually read the entire thing considering the many gripes I have with it. This was too much like a badly written fanfic that had no business being published. The storytelling was poor and obviously needed a lot of work. BUT. It wasn't ALL bad. I wouldn't have been able to read (let alone finish) it if it was. I really did like the plot, the characters, and the world the author built for this story. It's why I ended up reading all 4 books. If only the execution of her ideas weren't so sloppy and terrible...
All on all, I was still entertained, so: 3 stars, and not just for this book. That's also my rating for the entire series. (Book 3 definitely redeemed this series a bit, IMO.)
Sigh. I was soooo very excited for the conclusion of this series and I think I was about 30% into the story before I realized 2 very inevitable truths: 1) Leia Stone has fallen back into her cliche heroine schtick and 2) we can easily expect a spin-off series/novellas for each of the Five Crew. I wasn’t happy about either development. How come there was no adverse reaction for Demi being separated from her Wolf for so long? In the previous book, we learned that when they were separated she tired easily and didn’t get better until they rejoined. If Demi’s Wolf was solid when she was captured. Why didn’t it go spectral the second something latched on to her? If the Wolf is a manifestation of Demi’s soul why wasn’t it able to withstand the cuff? How come Pearl didn’t go to the Dark Lands and set up home there? What happened to the ithaki? Was there a renewal of the peace treaty that was obviously broken? All in all, I’m not pleased with how the ending played out. But I guess a happy ending is a happy ending.
I read this series for nostalgia of the werewolf stories on WattPad and basically got exactly that. This final book in the series revolves around breaking Sawyer out of the prison and the final showdown with the queen vampire. I am not going to lie... I skimmed a lot of the fighting sequences. I have a tough time visualizing things already in a book, so fight scenes are like my kryptonite. I tried, but then my eyes glazed over, and I just tried to get the jist of the scene and move on. 😅
Therefore, I don't have much of a decent review of the plot to give. It was still some fun vibes reading through this series. The third book and first are probably still my preferred ones of the series, with the third being the best. I think we just got away from whining, out of control, possessive Sawyer enough that it let Demi be her own character for longer than the first book's short introduction of her. He definitely changes in the fourth one because he's been in prison for a year, but there's still plenty of character development there considering how young the characters are.

I finished this entire book series in ten hours. It was enjoyable and helped me forget about exam stress for a while (kinda). I feel like it was definitely fast paced, maybe a bit too fast. The entire series felt very rushed and I wish the author had made each of the books (mb excluding the first one?) a bit longer. I really enjoyed all of the twists and turns she did with Demi and her wolf but I feel like that’s where most of the focus was. I think she could have focused more on world building and better plot pacing to improve the series. But overall it was an enjoyable short read and I give my thanks to all the work the author put in (and for giving us a badass like Demi).
Does ANYONE know when this book will be available on Audible?! I know the Kindle will be available on July, 2021... but because I listened to the other 3 books on Audible, I would really like to finish it on that platform.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: this series was absolutely binge-able. If you're looking for something that will take your mind out of this world and make you stop thinking, this series will do that. At least, it did for me! I read all four books in a little over a day and while there were moments I really had to laugh at the drama (because some parts really were #dramallama to the power of max) and the ridiculousness of it, I thought the author tied everything up really nicely, and set things up nicely for the next series set in this world, too.
Despite the drama piled on top of drama (even after the queen battle), I thought this was a pretty satisfying conclusion to this paranormal romance series. Wolf City might still mostly be in ruins, I'm always a sucker for those new beginnings where people come together despite their differences in order to create a better world and more inclusive future. Demi has a great pack, and I loved that Marmal came back and this time, we even get a dragon that flies and has old magic, too! 😉 It's great to see more empowered women in this series and it was satisfying to watch Demi, Sage and Marmal take on this rescue mission. Demi really does make for a great alpha! Sawyer also comes back a more confident alpha and is no longer a stage five clinger (phew).
I think Magic City is an interesting place and I've actually already read the first book in Luka's series so I'm curious to see what happens next with the tensions still extremely high between the territories, and especially with these nasty vampires. I know I'm definitely gonna be in for a lot more drama 😂
OK, that was a good book. Found it fun, fast, and kick arse. Sawyer grew on me in the last book. Took him getting prison buff and darker to do it...so that could just be me needed to see someone about my taste in book boyfriends... We get introduced to Luka, who I see has a side series, and explains why his character is built so well in one reading. Demi, badass as always... but her powers, Sheesh, still don't fully understand them. Sounds like anyone can sniff her and take some of her power. But no one has looked into defence beside some bracelets. Sage, she deserves her own happy....not sold of Walsh. But the heart wants what it wants. Steam, minimal smut, dragons, trolls, vampires, witches, shifters, and bears oh my! Overall, the 4th book ends with a HEA and a little closure for some 3.8 stars
Just when Demi thinks she can finally win this war, she finds out that Sawyer is in trouble. She needs to save her Alpha so they can take back their lands together. This one felt a little more rushed than the others, BUT the entire series did wrap up super nicely, so I can't really complain! I think I just didn't want this world to end.
I still have some minor unanswered questions, but overall this was a really awesome series. Literally listened to all four books in less than two days :) Sawyer can be my baby daddy any day! Really, though, total swoon!
