🩸AJ was able to take the world building we got in book one and dive even deeper into each character. The relationships and character’s connections are so well thought out. I was foaming at the mouth for more information that she fed us along the way.
🩸You get heart break, mystery, feminine rage, family, betrayal, a new character, action, solutions, nostalgia and the promise of more. I can not wait for more of this indie author. Her writing style has grown leaps and bounds and the work she is putting into this shows immensely.

I don’t know why but I couldn’t get into this book like I could the first. I kinda felt like it was dragging on. Now that could just be because of life right now. I plan to reread them maybe closer to next spooky season and maybe I’ll like it better then. I definitely think it has the potential to at least be a 4 but right now it’s a 3.5.

They definitely had some great quotes, and the twist was decently surprising. It does keep you guessing. At first I was like none of this makes sense, but with the reveal and then clarification it helped. It was like “ahhh that makes sense” moment.

I do plan to read the novellas because I am interested in staying in this world. Like I said I think it was just my headspace right now.

Both vampire books kept me wanting more and more. So many twist and turns. Love wins in the end. AJ writing style is fantastic.

I devoured book two and would not have changed a single thing within this masterpiece. I loved how this book was wrapped up in a nice little red bow after that cliff hanger ending, I didn't know where we would be taken. Rivian has my heart for he graveled, pleased, and proved his love for Lucinda and she made him work less than I thought she would which I was pleased. Lucinda was an excellent FMC, she had such heart and loved deeply for her forced, found family. This duet is perfection and everyone must read it. I can't wait for the interconnected characters to get their stories.

When Night Falls(book 1 pls read first) left us on an epic cliffhanger after a story full of love, lust, and manipulation. Absolutely one of my favorites ever.

Rivian finally got what he wanted and now it’s more than he can handle. Lucynda barely knows who to trust and is as fragile and explosive as dynamite. But I really loved the way certain characters and things came together to unfold the rest of the story.

I absolutely adore the dynamic of these two. The groveling in this story was of epic proportions and I am here for it. There was a constant push and pull but Cyn’s power and rage were unmatched. I definitely took my time with this one to soak it all in.

I’m so excited to read more books in this universe and see what else AJ has in store🥰
