This Jersey girl is happily married to a patient man who has the ability to sustain long hours of rambling thoughts spilling from me non-stop. With the company of my two dogs, I set my writing schedule around their inability to coordinate their potty breaks. :)

I received an ARC of the 10-Book set "Love Charms: A Paranormal Romance Boxed Set" for an honest review and "Blinded by Magic: A Witch Romance" by Ava Catori was the first book. This was a fast paced quick story of Raven a witch and Derek a mortal who fall in love and the consequences of their romance. It was a very entertaining story with unique consequences that could either bind them closer together or tear them apart! The talking bulldog was a humorous touch as well!

It was cute, and some moments were delightful but found it feeling rushed. Benji was a riot though, and the characters were all sweet and charming. Just a nice read, but not overly interesting to me. I will be looking into other works by the author though as I did enjoy the break from violence and mayhem. Sometimes you just need a sweet story and this one fit the bill.

This book is the first book in "Love Charms: A Paranormal Romance boxed set". Knowing that this story was expanded, I thought it would be a bit longer. At times I felt it was rushed. I was sad there was not enough background about Derek. Even with all that, Ava Catori has a strong writing persona, and I am willing to get to know better.
