It’s up to Archer, Gage, and Matt to make sure this day goes off without a hitch. But between brides and babies, there’s the not-so-little issue of the million-dollar bet to attend to. I know it's not the first book in the series. But I was thinking about reading the whole series for few months. So when I was travelling for a couple of hours, I decided to read something short so I started with this one. And I have to say that I really disliked all the heroines. I even wished that they would just leave them because I simply could not stand them. So I am not going to waste my time on the other three books when I know that the main female characters get on my nerves.

The half star is because of the "gorgeous heroine" from third book, her stupidity is higher one notch here.
And for the heroine who was getting married and get mad because her maid of honor was in labor in her wedding day and she got upset 'cause this "little " detail was going to ruin the wedding. I was like WTEFF!! Terrible
If it was just about the couple from first book having the baby it would be a 3 stars cute story

NOIOSO…

MY REVIEW

I love this series. And this is a sweet short novella. 3 beautiful stories in one book.
Archer + Ivy and their newborn baby,
Gage + Marina and their wedding,
Matt + Bryn and their sweet relationship.

I love Archer and Ivy most since the first time I read the first book. And they now have a cute baby with them.
Gage and Marina finally start their new life as husband and wife.
I didn't really like Marina at first but I'm okay with her now.
I love Matt and Bryn too. Bryn is a badass heroine. I'm hoping that there would be further story about their relationship.

I enjoyed reading this book. it's short but so entertaining. I finished it in few hours. And Monica Murphy herself is one of my fav author. Love all the books she writes. I've read them all!
Can't wait for her next book!

Intoxicated is the final installment in the series but this novella is pretty much an optional read. We learn what happens to all the characters after their happy endings but, honestly, it’s no surprise. It’s more sweet than sexy.

In Intoxicated, all the prior Billionaire Bachelors Club books are brought to a conclusion. You get a taste of each of the characters that you’ve had the pleasure of meeting, all in one place and all lending their voice to complete this story.

Archer and Ivy are expecting their first baby. Marina and Gage are moments away from becoming husband and wife. Bryn and Matt are more in love than ever, but she’s still not over the ghosts of her past and Matt is more ready than ever to take what he wants.

Although independently I have loved each one of these novellas, this one was just sort of okay. I didn’t really need to see the future of these three couples to know where they were headed. I did however find that Bryn & Matt’s story was where I had wanted more to be expanded upon. For each of the couples, their fates were sealed – all on their way to claim their HEA – except for Bryn who still held on to her past far too tightly. I think had we gotten a few more scenes were she broke down those walls or if Matt was able to break through them, I could have enjoyed this a bit more.

All in all, this was just a wrap of the three prior novellas bringing their stories full circle. For those that have enjoyed this series, you’ll most likely enjoy this as well. But I just didn’t feel it was completely necessary to the series as a whole.

I have really adored this series. It is my go to series after reading a but gusting cry your eyes out romance because it is light and fun and brings me back to center. It was so much fun seeing the gang again. Monica really does a good job with the birth of Ivy and Archer's baby. It is not over the top and reminded me a lot of when I had my kids.

Marina kind of turns into bridezilla which is to be expected since her huge Italian family is putting so much pressure on her. It is nice to see her and Gabe get to chill out on the beach during their honeymoon. Monica sure knows how to write some sexy and spicy beach scenes so look out.

Bryn poor Bryn. I love her to death but I can not believe that she told Matt no. I thought for sure that story was going to end differently than it did. I still want to know what happens next with them. I love Matt and Bryn.

Monica does a great job giving us the next chapter in the lives of the Billionaire Bachelors that we have grown to love. I will miss them. I have been head over heels for this series since Archer's story came out and I hated to see this series end. I am looking forward to whatever Monica decides to throw at us next.

Intoxicated by Monica Murphy - A Billionaire Bachelor Club novella is a 2014 Avon Impulse publication. I was provided a copy of this book by the publishere and Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review.

This novella touches base with Gage and Marina on their wedding day. Marina has evidently turned into a bit of a bridezilla, and when she finds out her sister Ivy has gone into labor she's not happy. Ivy feels guilty about missing the wedding but soon she has other things to worry about once the labor continues for much longer than she thought it would and Bryn is in a little bit of a panic over how serious her relationship with Matt has become.
There is a lot going on in this very short story and not a lot of time to enjoy the major life events for Ivy and Marina. The wedding goes by in a blur, Ivy's labor is very difficult, and Bryn and Matt are still in that intense stage of the relationship where fear of the magnitude of the relationship has Bryn running for cover. I like all these charcters even though Marina was a liitle off her game. I think this book was just a little bit of tidying up and so it's not fleshed out as much as I would have liked. All the same, for a lunch time or break time read it's enjoyable enough. This one gets 3 stars.

Marina s Gagem mají velký den, konečně nastala chvíle svatby, z níž byli oba dva dlouho nervózní. Jenže to by nebylo ono, kdy by se něco nepokazilo. Hlavní svědkové Ivy a Archer totiž museli rychle pelášit do nemocnice v očekávání prvního potomka.

Velký problém jsem měla i s tím neustálým skákání z jedné linie do druhé a pak do třetí, do šesti různých hlav.

A volte tutti e sei nello stesso capitolo.

Not as long as I'd have loved it to be, but it answered some questions left by the previous books. It's good to know whether Ivy had a boy or girl, how Gage and Marina's marriage would turn out and whether Bryn and Matt would be a long-term item.

When I first heard from Monica in an interview I did with her for her Four Years Later release, that she was going to do a novella for the Billionaire Bachelors Club series, I was so happy! I really wanted to see how everything turned out with our three couples and how they were doing. There were some loose ends I really wanted tied up and we got those in this novella!

Pacing: I thought the pacing was spot-on. Murphy has given us all the main character's POVs and I loved being back with all of them and see what they were thinking and feeling.

Storyline: It's Marina and Gage's wedding day and Marina has been Bridezilla for the past few months. Everyone is ready to get this show on the road, and some are even a little TOO eager. Ivy ends up going into labor, thus causing her and Archer to relinquish their matron of honor and best man duties to Bryn and Matt. Marina is a wreck and even acts a bit selfishly- it's not like Ivy planned to have her baby at that exact moment! Gage is the epitome of calm and manages to sort her out, as well as Bryn. Bryn and Matt still haven't made any lifelong commitments to one another, but as their relationship is still new that's not completely out of the ordinary. Matt, however, is ready to take the plunge with Bryn, never having the hang-ups about commitment Archer and Gage once did. Bryn is a little more hesitant and lets her old insecurities creep back into the forefront of her mind.

Characters: Archer and Ivy remain my favorite of the three couples and I found myself looking forward to their scenes. Both of them are nervous about becoming first time parents, and Archer is just beyond sweet with how much care he takes with Ivy. It literally made my heart burst and if I ever get married and have a baby- THAT is how I want my husband to be. I felt for Ivy though, because even after the baby is born he's a little TOO gentle with her and she's ready to claim her husband!

Gage and Marina were always the steamy couple and that remains to be true in this novella. Once Marina calmed down, everything fell into place and seeing Gage's expression when Marina walked down the aisle? Priceless. Even though wedding planning has made them distant, the second they make that commitment, that distance dissipates and it's just Marina and Gage and no one else.

Matt and Bryn are the newest couple and Bryn still has some insecurities hanging over her head. She feels as if they're going too fast and she's just scared of the future. She was never on the receiving end of a loving, nurturing relationship as a child, so it's hard for her to believe that Matt could love her so wholeheartedly. Matt is one of the best guys out there and he's perfect for Bryn. He never let her put herself down and he is always building her up, which is how it should be.

Final Thoughts: I like that each couple is in a different stage of their relationship and that they have their own kinks to work out, but they're going to do so together. I think this novella was just what we readers needed- I feel satisfied and happy with the way Murphy tied up loose plot threads and also ended all of these couples with a bang. Literally. In the bedroom. In the office. Or on a honeymoon.

O forse son solo condensati in poche pagine.
Buona lettura a tutti!

Intoxicated is a short novella in the Billionaire Bachelors Club series by Monica Murphy. This short story gives the reader more of each of the couples from the previous books and updates you on where they are with their HEAs. When the story starts, it is Gage and Marina's wedding day. Ivy and Archer are set to be the best man and maid of honor when Ivy goes into labor. Matt and Bryn step up to help Marina and Gage when Archer and Ivy are unable to make it to the wedding. As the wedding day goes on, Bryn starts to get scared as Matt drops hints that he might be ready for them to be the next to wed. The whole time everyone is trying to figure out the sex of the baby and to see who will win the bet.

This novella was really more of a short story to me than a novella. The details for this one say that there are over 200 pages, but honestly there are so many excerpts that this one is actually closer to 50 pages. It was short and sweet, and did a decent job of updating the reader about what was going on for these billionaires that are no longer bachelors and their women. But there really wasn't a lot going on in this story other than that Ivy has her baby and the reader finds out if it is a boy or girl and the name as well as Marina and Gage get married. I think that fans will be excited to get more of their favorite characters and to get to see these events in their lives, but honestly I had been expecting more. I think that some readers will be left feeling unsatisfied with the amount of story in this one and will be left wanting more. If you are a fan of the series, I would still recommend reading this to catch up with all your favorite characters though. I do like Monica Murphy's writing style and this one was written well. I look forward to reading more from her in the future, and would be interested to see more from these characters especially Matt and Bryn because their story felt a bit unfinished to me after reading this one.

While Intoxicated was an entertaining little read, I’m not sold on it being necessary. It seemed more like an extended epilogue and less like a novella. Maybe that was the purpose.

Reading Intoxicated was like playing POV bingo. Each chapters was written from another character’s POV. One would think this would lead to confusion or frustration, but Monica is pure genius, and it actually added to the appeal of this short read. It was nice to see what all the characters were up to, what they were feeling, how they handled various situations.

The focus isn’t really on one particular couple, it’s on everyone. Ivy and Archer are having their baby. Gage and Marina are getting married. And Matt and Bryn are…well…trying to figure out the next step. All three “storylines” sync up nicely, painting a clear picture of their lives together.

I can’t stand the thought of Marina upset. But I also can’t wait for this wedding to be over. So we can focus on living our lives.
Together.

Much like the last three books, this was packed with hot steamy sex scenes. I swear that this woman was born to write smut. And I mean that in the best possible way. Even after giving birth, Ivy got in on the action. Loved it.

I reached the end without even realizing it. Suddenly – BAM – it was over. I wasn’t expecting it to be so…final.Very, very sneaky, Sir. ( A little Mr. Deeds up in here.) I almost felt shortchanged. Or like the last scene was sort of a tact-it-on-the-end-so-they’ll-be-happy addition. It was all very abrupt.

I enjoyed this series. Each character has his or her own appeal. If I’m being honest, Matt is my favorite. He’s down to earth with just enough pompous asshole in him to round him out I’m assuming this is the end, and if it is, I’m sad to see them go. I’ve read quite a few Monica Murphy books and have yet to find one I didn’t enjoy.

I was a huge fan of the Billionaire Bachelors Club Series by Monica Murphy. When I finished reading Savor, I was definitely left wanting more. I felt as though I was left hanging. There was so much more story to be told with all of the characters. So when Monica announced that she was going to be publishing Intoxicated, I actually squealed. I was over the moon excited. I didn't want this journey to end with these characters.

Archer, Gage and Matt are great, not to mention the girls are hysterical. It took 3 strong women to tame these promiscuous men. Who would have thought that after one bet for a million dollars at a friend's wedding in Crave, all of their lives would be literally turned upside town in a matter of a year.

Intoxicated will give you a glimpse and I mean glimpse into what is going on with all of the couples. We got to find out the sex of Archer and Ivy's baby, we got to experience Gage and Marina's wedding and last but not least, we got to see what the future may or may not hold for Matt and Bryn.

I have to be honest with you, this was a FAST & EASY read. I completed it in one sitting, in a matter of a few hours. I was left wanting more once again. I feel as though there is still so much more that we can experience with all of these characters but I understand that it is time for Monica to put this group to rest and more on to new projects.

I wish this series were actually full length novels rather than novellas. The story lines are that interesting and so are the characters. There is nothing like 3 cocky men that all set out to live the life of a single man, then without ever seeing it coming, they are falling for the loves of their lives.

Great job Monica, you never disappoint. I am a HUGE fan of yours and I will continue to ONE click every novel that you publish !!!

I utterly adore this series, it’s a wonderful adult fairy-tale including a glimpse of life for the wealthy complete with utter swoon-worthy romance, the sweet and the sexy blend perfectly. Monica Murphy’s delightful writing style and depth of characterization make her a go-to author for lovers of romance.

Please bear in mind that this is the conclusion to the series and therefore, the review may contain spoilers to the previous books. The synopsis itself pretty much does that if you haven’t read the series ;)

Intoxicated is told from all the main characters point of view. We catch up with them a few months after Savor. All events take place during one day, one very special day :) It was truly wonderful to be able to follow the relationships beyond the end of each individual story and also how all the characters tie together as siblings and best friends.

The thing that stood out for me the most in this novella was just how much the male characters had developed via their relationships. The depth of their devotion to their partners and the appreciation they have of their lives thanks to these women was a privilege to witness. They have truly become better people as a result :)

While the HEA’s are more or less guaranteed following the individual stories of these characters; it was nice to see that the characters remained realistic, having to face every day trials and tribulations that occur. I especially liked how Bryn’s insecurities weren’t magically whisked away but were being dealt with in a continuous and heart-warming manner by Matt *swoon*.

Intoxicated is a bittersweet addition to the Billionaire Bachelor series, heart-warming in it’s execution yet with a hint of sadness at saying goodbye to these wonderful characters.

Intoxicated was the perfect ending to a truly fun series! All of the characters have made me laugh, swoon and sometimes want to scream, all in good fun of course. In this book, we get to see all three couples. Gage and Marina are getting married. Ivy and Archer are having a baby. And Matt and Bryn are moving on to the next stage of their relationship. It was a true treat to get to see everyone once again.

What worked for me:
~My favorite scenes were with Archer and Ivy. They've been my favorite couple throughout the series and I just loved getting to see them welcome their sweet little baby.
~Again, Archer. I just love him.
~I love seeing all three guys interact with each other. They have such a great friendship. It reminds me of my own.
~The girls were fun to see again too. Marina is having a slight bridezilla moment, but that's to be expected. Her maid of honor has to take off to have a baby. It still made me laugh a bit. Bryn was sweet and still a bit vulnerable.
~I loved how Gage was still so worried about Ivy, even though it was his wedding day. It was so sweet.

What didn't work for me:
Honestly, there wasn't anything that didn't work.

Overall, Intoxicated was an enjoyable read. I sped through it in one short sitting. It was definitely a page turner for me. I just loved seeing how the events played out. If you've followed along with this series, you won't want to miss seeing these couples again. Plus, you get to find who won "the bet"!

Intoxicated was such a fast-paced and wonderful concluding novella to the Billionaire Bachelor's Club Series! I have enjoyed getting to know Archer, Ivy, Gage, Marina, Matt, and Bryn! This series has been so light-hearted, sexy, and fun to read, and I haven't wanted it to end!

In Intoxicated, we are treated to all six viewpoints, as significant and special milestones are taking place in each couple's life. We get all of the details on the marriage and honeymoon of Gage and Marina, the labor and adventure of being new parents that is taking place in Archer and Ivy's life, and get to experience Matt and Bryn are looking towards their future together!

Intoxicated was a real pleasure to read. I loved getting to catch up on the lives of character's that I have missed, and having all of them in the same book, made the story, all the more wonderful to read. We get to learn about the couples, how their passion and love for one another has grown, as well as the strengthened ties of family, and friendship!

My Rating:

If you have read the three books in the Billionaire Bachelors Club Series, then you do not want to miss out on Intoxicated. It was a beautiful and entertaining ending to the series! I give Intoxicated, by Monica Murphy, 4 Passionate, Humorous, Sentimental, and New Beginning Filled Stars!

We get to follow up with the three Billionaire Bachelors, Asher, Gage, and Matt (Well, they are all taken now so cannot really be considered bachelors anymore) during important steps in their lives.

We have one bridezilla and one bridegroom trying to hold it together so they can go have fun on their honeymoon. A woman in labor and her nervous hubby trying to support her. A man looking towards the future with his girlfriend who still has some insecurities.

We get all of their points of view: Archer, Ivy, Gage, Marina, Matt, and Brynn. So we get to see how they are all feeling at various times and see their inner struggles as well as their happiness.

It is fun seeing how these couples have progressed and what is going in in their lives. These three men were the quintessential rich, cocky bachelors and their women turned their lives around and made them emotional "pussies" (Archer's word not mine). They have come a long way from the closed off playboys we first met. They met their matches in every way. Their million dollar bet is finally settled. But all in all I think they really all won.

This was a short wrap up novella of all three couples, but fans of the series will enjoy spending more time with them and seeing how it all plays out. It was sweet, funny, sexy, and of course features three swoony men.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the Billionaire Bachelor Club series feature three best friends who place a bet to give the last bachelor standing a million dollars. The first three books Crave, Torn and Savor give witness to each man’s fall. They are filled with humor, sexy times and characters I have come to adore. Set in wine country with fleshed out, complex characters I like many craved more and Murphy responded with Intoxicated. Within it’s pages we witness the birth of Ivy and Archer’s baby and it was delicious spending time with this couple again. It’s Gage and Marina’s wedding day and we get to witness it all from nerves to heated kisses. Then there is our last couple Bryn and Matt. Did they make it as a couple? Did Bryn overcome her self doubt? We already know Matt was the last man standing but did he collect? Intoxicated shares all! From tender moments, anxiety and wonder this tale was warm and funny. Intoxicated is solely for the fans and will not work as a standalone. It is relatively short, and gives us pov’s from all of the characters and I quickly consumed it. If you didn’t get enough of Matt, Archer and Gage be sure and grab a copy.
