I've left it all my father is lost in his addictions, and my brother is busy living his own life. So I hit the road to put it all behind me. But when my car breaks down in the eerie town of Lupine Ridge, im attacked by a wild dog until the most stunning, muscle-bound tow truck driver comes to my rescue. He's also the grumpiest man I've ever met, but he begrudgingly agrees to help me offering me a place to stay. As sparks ignite between us, I uncover the truth about this mysterious stranger. He's more dangerous than I ever imagined, and the enemies he have wouldnt think twice about destroying me too.
I feel like there was great storytelling, but I was distracted by the dual spelling of Trey and Trey. Further grammatical errors sometimes kicked me out of the story as well as mixed up locations. For instance, the last fight between Malachi and the enemy started in the apartment but ended in the garage? So overall, the plot and storytelling were engaging, but they were overshadowed by the errors.
Belle finally at her breaking point with the job, her father, and brother after her father trying to sell her for more credit she decided to get in her car and drive luckily there was an ad that caught her attention so she now had a set destination but fate stepped in which was exactly what all involved needed again fate and mother nature stepping in. The type of man Malachi was he carried so much on his shoulders holding it in not truly releasing it the resentment he.held for his mother and step brother all due to his father wouldn't allow him to be the alpha he could be; once meeting Belle allowing her in he was able to open up about things as well as allowing their mother to tell some of her truth she had been protecting them from, road to some healing. Darius has his own issues and like Belle said they all needed to seek some type of counseling because their abusive father did some major damage. Now that Malachi has gain his Luna someone that would stand beside him the future looked bright until Jax dumped more on his plate but he's more confident that the future of his pack will grow strong.
I loved seeing Malachi’s backstory and his perspective on how he interacts with his family. I’m happy more things were learned during the family dinner that went wrong. Belle and Malachi were so cute together! Couldn’t get enough of them!
I wouldve liked to find out what happened however with it being a series I’m hoping it ends up in the next book. So I’m going to read the next book in the series and hope we find out what happened.
I think this book has been my favorite in the series. I’m loving getting a better understanding of Malachi. I definitely see how they’re meant to be together.
