As others have stated this is a prequel/sequel to Hell's Christmas by Cynthia P. Willow. I found myself during my reading of Hell's Christmas wondering what had happened to make Monika Hell such a jaded character. This book has the answers. Yet at the same time it shows how God had a plan for Monika all her life. It is a fun read filled with angels and the fallen as well as a real look at how our perceptions color our life experience. Unlike Ms. Willow's other novels the Hell's books are not children's fare but a grown up look at complex situations and yet she keeps the child like wonder of her previous works. Five big stars from this pastor.

Great back story!
This new novelette gives you a whole new look at Hell's Christmas and Monica Hell. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about Monica's life before the book and hope the author plans to do a novelette on Justin, too! If you liked Hell's Christmas, you'll definitely want to read this book!
