[manhwa chapters 29-42]

Chapter forty-one in this volume was absolutely beautiful. I never expected to fall in love with Carcel after everything he did in the past before they got married, but I fear it happened.

"I must love you enough that I'm willing to drown. Sometimes I love you so much that I become a bumbling fool. And perhaps it's also because you don't love me at all. But at least the image of you at this moment belongs to me."

finished with season one, this volume wasn’t as good as the last, but it kept the plot moving and we found out loads of story parts so i’m glad. i just need ines to get over the emiliano bs cuz ain’t nobody got time for that!!

I highly recommend this book series and will be following publication to completion as this is now one of my favourites. The cover is gorgeous and we have an alternate cover to the Korean, in Inkhouse (part of Penguin publications) It looks gorgeous.

This whole series is available on Webtoon. If you want to read it. I like owning physically these sorts of stories as they are brilliant. I look forward to the release. We don't have a release date at present according to the website, but Penguin always release what they announce on their website.

The art looks absolutely stunning. I can't wait. I know webtoon fans will probably already be ahead with this series and I envy you wholeheartedly.

have the same thoughts as before. so, this review will be about the entirety of season 1:
ahhhh i love this couple so much. i'm so glad cárcel woke up and realized inés is who he wants. even though the couple's relationship has somewhat improved, we're not at the stage where she's reciprocating his feelings and is still trying to encourage cárcel to cheat. i love the art style as well. i just want their feelings to be mutual such that cárcel can enjoy being with her knowing that it's mutual and for inés to have a happy life in this life.

that kiss in the last chapter!!! omggggg
