The Way, I’m obsessed with this entire duet…. did I read all of Lola King‘s books out of order? Yes, do I regret it? Hell no! Roses duet though I can safely say is my favorite book by far that I have read by Lola King. I will say this is probably one of the darker books that she has written, so please check your trigger warnings. My heart really hurt for Rose in this story and what she had to suffer and go through in her teens after already suffering abuse throughout childhood. She thinks she’s broken, but there’s three individuals that are willing to give her all their love and that’s Rachel Lik and Sam. This is my first book that I’ve read with a true polyamorous quadruple relationship dynamic, and it was done so well in here I loved it. the balance and the healing that they all find in the end and the love that Rose is finally willing to accept and give back it is just beautiful. I ate this entire story up I’d give it six stars if I could. And girllll the spice? The spice was SPICEN

I received an ARC of this book from Valentine PR.
Phew, that was one heck of a ride! My kindle estimated about 12 hours reading, and I said ‘challenge accepted’ and read it in 9-10hrs.
This was an omnibus of Queen of Broken Hearts, King of My Heart, and Ace of All Hearts. It’s a why choose romance of Rose, Rachel, Lik, and Sam. Initially, I hated Rose, but I’m glad I kept going because the character development for Rose and Rachel especially kept me reading and by the end, all of the animosity I felt towards her was gone.
It was dark, emotional, and super spicy with all kinds of group fun!

So much yes. 2 full books...a novella...so much spice, plot, energy in all of this. You honestly get a little bit of everything. I am a big fan of this author for many reasons. Shes definitely not afraid to put it all out there for us to read. Definitely check triggers. Lots of tropes for each and everyone. Definitely recommend!

This one was a greater starter novella for the Rose' Duet series. It was filthy and wildly delicious and oh so sizzling 🔥.

I'm reading a FF book after a really long time and I was excited to dive into this wild ride but it was definitely not at all what I expected to be - Filthiest And Kinky 🥵.
As always Ms. King didn't disappoint in raising the temperatures to an all time high with taking us on wild escapades with Rose and Rachel.

Both come from super wealthy families but there is something in the past that seems to be dark and definitely leaves a lot of room for more questions which I'm hoping will be answered in the next books.

Rose is the possessive one who is crazy for Rachel but is also a serial cheater as is hinted at and also unapologetic about it but yet in her eyes Rachel belongs to her and only her while for Rachel, Rose is her entire world.

We get a sneak peek into their highly dysfunctional, emotional and kinky relationship and they both just go at it and are so thirty for each other constantly.
That ending tells me we are in for some high on angst times in the next books.
Can't wait to find out. 🔥🔥

After reading Queen of Broken Hearts novella I was running to start this one. Even though Rose and Rachel made me go crazy in that one, yet I was wanting to see what would happen next. Would Rachel's one sided love reach fruition especially when the object of her desire is a Playgirl to the extreme.

So I have to say when I started this one, I was not ready for the intensity and rollercoaster ride this one took me on.
I mean FREAKING SHT. There was just so much going on.

Rose is back after two years when she was kidnapped on the very day that she was to run away with Rachel.
Now Rose is back and nobody knows why she was taken or what happened or how did she ever escape?

There are secrets piling up, sure but for Rose, the people that were always the centre of her world have their lives changed as even though, Rose is the same girl who can sleep with anyone if she likes them at one glance, yet she's also the same possessive one who will do anything for Rachel.

The biggest shocker comes when Sam traps her and makes her be complaint to his plan to find the Volkov brothers, whose whereabouts no body can find out.
Why is Sam doing this and especially when he has a man of his own, Lik, yet why does Rose hate him and yearn for him at the same time?!

Lik was hot and his 🔥times with Sam had me 🥵 for the way they are with each other. Even though all characters have their own flaws yet Sam has to be my least favourite one. I just didn't like the way he would treat others.
Lik was a sweetie and a easy going cool dude.
I have to say though, the buildup to the attraction he feels for Rose was so beyond hot as he's a man who's never found a woman attractive.🌶️🌶️

Rose is a mad house and a maniac obsessed over Rachel but what I loved was the fact that now she's getting a taste of her own medicine with not getting Rachel's attention and having to be her dirty secret when she treated Rachel the same way in the past.

Yet I really can't blame Rose for the way she is especially after reading about her past I had tears in my eyes and wanting to save the little girl in the past for when she was wronged.
Rose definitely made me feel emotional for her and I might not agree with her actions at times yet that girl is a softie somewhere inside.

Rachel, man, poor thing. It felt like she's always in some kinda prison one time or another but I can't wait to see her get justice this time for the burden she carries and doesn't have to.

This one has tons of Kinky and outright filthy times loaded with so much spice that I would say read carefully or you might get burned with all the heat. (Kidding, although the spice is freaking hotttt ♨️🔥🥵)

THEN COMES THAT ENDING.😱😱 .... WHAT THE.... I knew that there was something not adding up... BUT THAT... Yep, straight going for the next book. Can't wait to start it after reading this crazy shocking twister. Also, hoping to find more times filled with utmost debauchery and 𝗌𝖾𝗑iness in the next one.😉🌶️

Wow... I really am speechless right after reading this one and I need a minute to process the intensity and rollercoaster ride that this one was.

After reading book 1 and especially the way it ended, there are questions that need to be answered, the main one being, what is the actual connection between Rose and the Volkovs and what is she hiding and why?

I have to say, I had hated Rose when I'd read the Queen of my heart novella because I felt she was a girl who didn't respect relationships and didn't care for love but boy was I wrong... So so wrong about her.

Knowing the extent of what that girl has been through made me oh so ache for her and I understand why she's the way she is.
Rose White might be one twisted woman but she's a Fiesty and Strong woman for sure, you definitely can't deny that after reading this one.

My heart also went out for Rachel especially when things escalate to a degree where I was so freaking out for her and was scared to find out what would happen next and would she make it out of it or not.
But she has a craziness and a unique strength of her own which definitely left me in awe of her.

I have to say Sam is the one that Ms. King finally made me like him. Although at the start and many times I was just irked by his behaviour and controlling ways as at times he showed no regard for the other person's wishes yet as we delve deeper into the past and getting to see Sam's side of the story, did win him points in my eyes for him.

LIK IS THE HOTTEST AND THE COOLEST. Lik is a favourite of mine and I have to confess his times with both Rose and Sam were so beyond hot... Oh my....
Lik only likes men, so what makes his time so much hotter with Rose is because Rose is the only woman he's attracted to and when he takes her.....OH MY FREAKING GOODNESS... I WAS A MELTED MESS.🥵🌶️🌶️🔥🔥

There's a lot happening in this one, along with the secrets and the lies, the findings and the past demons all come together.

BUT ONE THING THAT NEEDS TO BE SAID IS THAT - THIS ONE WAS LOADED WITH HOT SPICINESS TO THE MAX. I mean there's Kinky and then there's these four people who will definitely melt off your panties with loads and loads of hot times.
There's, MF, FF, MM, MFF, FFMM... You can just imagine the level of hotness Lik, Sam, Rachel and Rose bring out in this book. 🔥🔥🌶️🌶️🥵🥵

The secrets and the suspense were so freaking good and the spice and the action and chase keeps you HOOKED ON TO THIS RIDE AND WILL NOT LET GO.

That ending and the bonus content just added extra awesomeness and extra flavour and made me smile to see these four finally happy together.

A Game of Hearts is a novella (ft. Rachel and Rose) + a duet all in one. This was so good but boy, was it heavy and had a lot going on. The book was filled with secrets, twists and non-stop action. I’d check TWs before starting this series.

Rose was magnetic and like everyone else, I was obsessed with her. Reading her story was hard but watching her get the HEA was bittersweet. The dynamic between Rose, Rachel, Lik and Sam was so beautifully crafted. I’m pretty picky with my poly books but this one was top tier. Rachel was a badass, Lik was so damn sweet and Sam held the whole group together. Honourable mention to the friend group between Chris, Luke, Jake and Rose…between this series and Jake/Jamie’s book, I really loved reading about their friendship. Chris needs his own book asap.

Lola King writes her stories with a ton of spice, angst and leaves you in a state of wonderment until the very end. I’m sad to say I’ve almost read her whole backlog (with the exception of the Christmas novella). I can’t wait to see what’s next for this universe. Thank you, Lola!

"A Game of Hearts" by Lola King is one of those books you keep thinking about, even until you're reading, that stay with you for a long time after you're done.

It's always been hard for me to write about books that have truly touched me and found a place in my heart because I feel like no matter what I write, I won't be able to fully convey the experience I had.

"A Game of Hearts" is a raw palette of emotions. Raw, because it makes you experience in the most real, genuine and powerful way every emotion that the characters go through until you feel like you can no longer endure it. And yet you keep reading because it's much worse not knowing what's happening to them than figuring out what and how life throws at them again. Someone once said it: it's like watching a car crash - it's terrible, but you can't take your eyes off it.

Once you start it, you will encounter a wonderful writing style that immediately manages to influence and get the reader into the story and into the lives of the characters without it seeming forced or hasty. It is rare for an author to be able to grab me with the first 1-2 pages, and if it does - even less often continues to keep my interest all the time so it continues to grow and become even bigger. Lola King, however, immediately became an exception, with whose books I can't wait to continue. The book is extremely difficult and on a very deep level it touches on a variety of topics, but on the other hand it is so beautifully written that I still can't stop thinking about it.

✨The thing is, I never realized Rose wasn't protecting herself when she used to keep things from me. She was protecting me.✨

The story and the characters are complex, well build, and each of them is displayed in front of the eyes of the readers so that they can see the hell the characters are going through, which makes a fantastic job at getting to know them and feel those imaginary people, almost like a real person the reader knows. This, as well as the understanding of where the plot will go and what one of the main problems will be, can be seen from the very beginning of the book.

✨She doesn't hold herself like a queen. No, queens were always in the shadows. Rose holds herself like a king. Like she owns the power, knows it and isn't afraid to wield it.✨

The characters themselves are extremely different from each other, but at the same time they complete and fit each other so well that it was like looking at four pieces of a puzzle.

✨Look at us, a group of simple humans. The only thing that makes us special? Insanity runs through our veins. Our blood is poisoned with a passion for chaos. And chaos we found in each other.✨

First of all, we have Rose and Rachel, whose scenes are absolute fire, grief, sadness, happiness, crossing boundaries, and total self-destruction. I rooted for them and their happiness and the need to see them together calm and safe.

✨"My, my," she whispers, "Rose White on her knees for me."
"Anytime, baby."✨

Rose and Lik are a wild-sized fire. From the moment there were even little moments of sexual tension between the two, I didn't want to take my eyes off them anymore, I just needed more and more.

✨"Lik... Oh my god..."
"You gonna come for me?" he hisses against my lips. "Show me. Show me that it took. One. Fucking. Night. For me to own this p*ssy."✨

The couple Rose and Sam are similar to watching two trucks that are stepping up towards each other and whose drivers are best friends, without anyone wanting to step back from the accelerator. There is a clash of wills, the outpouring of too harsh words and love in the most beautifully toxic way anyone has ever witnessed. At least up to a point. After that, it remains just beautiful.

✨"You've lost it", I breathe out, my voice a murmur trying to reach his crazy mind.
"Yeah," he nods. "You've finally done it. I've fucking lost my mind."✨

Lik and Sam are a hot passion with wonderful dynamics that, in addition to making me happy, made my legs swathe.

✨Lik is big on being protected from the evil eye. He doesn't understand that he has nothing to fear when the evil sleeps in his bed and fucks him regularly.✨

Sam and Rachel are strength, intelligence, control, friendship and love brought together and springing between them whether or not they are in one place.

✨"Your mere presence does unexplainable things to my heart. So don't you ever go away."✨

And Rach and Lik - they are happiness, friendship, freedom and carelessness that brings only joy and sweetness to the reader while reading about them.

✨It's funny how it often takes extreme situations for us to sit down and think about how we feel about the people around us. Life happens so fast, and we never take the time to feel anymore. There was a moment tonight I thought I might lose Rachel.
It took that to realize I would lose a woman I love.✨

The relationship between the four of them made me enjoy the understanding, care, love and wonderful family they create just as much as they made me explode with each of their erotic scenes. I haven't read such a hot thing in a long time, and I can safely say that every written word is a delight to the mind of the reader himself.

✨I love it simply because that's the home where my family and I live.✨

I would say that from one point things get very bad for the characters, but this will be a pure lie, because they never stop getting themselves in more and more trouble from the beginning to the epilogue itself.

✨What I don't tell him is that I don't want to taste happiness. I want to taste revenge.✨

And yet the climax feels even higher than all the characters' problems and all the other moments before it. Extremely good, full of action, feelings, dynamics and tension. And the best part is that for the first time then we can see the quad working as a team, which is an invaluable experience! The surprise after it and before the epilogue was just as good, as straining and liberating, as emotional and harsh as the climax, which for me was another proof of how great a masterpiece this book is.

The ending filled my heart with happiness for the main characters, because everyone got what they deserved and dreamed of.

I know I'm not only going to read everything else by Lola King, I'm going to re-read "A Game of Hearts" soon because I want to experience the story of Rose, Rachel, Sam and Lik again. And I already can't wait to do it.

“A Game of Hearts” is Rose’s complete collection. It is an excellent choice if you’re new to Rose’s love story or want to get a few extra chapters of her future. It’s hard to summarize three books in one, but I’ll do my best to do the collection justice!

Rose’s story begins with her turning up after having been kidnapped. Rose struggles with integrating back in her hometown as so much has changed. The woman she is in love with is now engaged to a man, and her college plans have fallen to the wayside. While she heals, Rose decides to begin attending community college and figure out her relationship with Rachel.

Rose and Rachel have been on again-off again throughout high school. Rose, as we’ve seen in previous stories, grapples with her possession of Rachel and the desire to find sexual satisfaction with multiple partners. Rachel, on the other hand, desires a monogamous relationship with only Rose. Needless to say, the two have rocky history where Rose takes advantage of Rachel’s love, understanding that no matter what she puts Rachel through, she will be there for her in the end. Upon returning to Stoneview, Rose and Rachel have a rocky reconnect while they figure out what their future, if there even is one, looks like. In the meantime, Rose begins attending community college and she meets Lik.

If you’ve read any of the Stoneview Stories, you may remember Lik as being the plus one to Jamie and Jake’s wild night in book three. He also makes appearances throughout the North Shore series given his relationship to Xi and Billie. Regardless of whether or not you’ve met him, it’s important to know that Lik is gay until Rose comes into the picture. While Lik and Rose develop a unique friendship, Lik’s curiosity grows as he learns that his boyfriend, Sam, has been in love with Rose for years. Surprisingly, Lik is not jealous of their history so much as it piques his curiosity.

Throughout the series Rose struggles with a serious case of Stockholm Syndrome, coming to terms with her past abuse, and what a poly relationship looks like. I think this is an excellent introduction to poly, particularly as we can see that not every harem has to result in each member being sexually active with another. Rachel remains committed solely to Rose, Sam and Lik maintain their unique relationship, and Rose is involved with all of them. I appreciated that Lola didn’t force a relationship onto Rachel and Lik, and instead allowed them to remain true to their characters. I also love that Rachel acknowledges her feelings about Sam and Lik are love, but not lust. While all characters go through a tremendous amount of growth, I believe Rose is the star of the show. The Rose we meet in Stoneview Stories is not the Rose we read about at the end of this collection, and that’s a testament to Rose as a character and King as an author.

I am thrilled that I was able to read an ARC of this series and cannot wait to see my friends pick this book up soon!!

First off, thank you Lola King and Valentine PR for this beautiful ARC read. I am so glad I was given the opportunity to read this book.

This is an omnibus made up of a novella and book one and two of Rose’s story from the Stoneview Stories. If you haven’t read anything from this book universe, I highly recommend you start with Jake White’s story (“Giving In” is book 1). Lola King has a specific order with all her series (Stoneview and Northshore), highly recommend following it since everything is in timeline order. You’ll understand everything a lot better this way too.

Moving on - this is Jake’s twin sister, Rose White’s story. This is a why choose dark romance between Rose, Rachel, Lik, and Sam. Definitely check the trigger warnings before reading, this book definitely has its share of traumatic events in it. If you’ve read Jake’s story then you’ll already have had a glimpse of what Rose has gone through in her young life and an idea of what some of the TW’s entail.

Honestly, I loved Rose before but this book just sealed it for me. My heart just absolutely breaks for her and everything she’s gone through, but I love the journey she takes in her healing process and the relationships that develop through that. I love the dynamics between the four of them, and it’s definitely a new and refreshing take on a why choose story. I haven’t read anything that’s FFMM and boy oh boy did it create for some spicy scenes. There’s a lot of spice in general, but there’s still great plot going on a lot of tense moments. This book had my heart racing on more than one occasion for sure. I highly recommend if you’re an avid why choose reader, like me, and if you like dark romance.

My goodness...where do I even start?! This omnibus contains one novella and two full-length novels, totaling 1048 pages and all for the one and only Rose White and her loves. I loved her twin's omnibus and couldn't wait to get my hands on hers after meeting her in Jake's story.

Rose is an enigma to everyone around her and she fascinates every single one of them. This woman has been dealt more trauma in her short lifetime than you can even fathom. I wanted her to get her HEA so freaking bad, while keeping her strength and sass, and boy...Lola delivered!!

This is a dark, gritty polyamorous romance story of Rose and her complex life and relationships. It’s a twisted, messy story and not your usual romance at all.
It begins with Rose and Rachel. It’s FF romance and quite spicy. It’s a short novella introducing them and their connection/relationship.
Then, Sam and Lik are introduced in the next book. This brings the men into this naughty, wild world.
This has all kinds of spicy group activity and k!nks, so if that’s not your “thing” you have been forewarned. The spice is decadently naughty.
Rose becomes more understandable as the books go on, she’s not the easiest to like… she grew on me as I learned more.
It was a little bit hard to keep up with at times, I don’t know if it was just me or because Rose appeared in the 𝚂𝚃𝙾𝙽𝙴𝚅𝙸𝙴𝚆 𝚂𝙴𝚁𝙸𝙴𝚂 and some readers already “know” her.
There is a storyline and plot, though it is very heavy on the spice and I expected that so I was very fine with it ;)
In these twisted games, who will win? Is there a winning hand? Dark romance fans who like it in groups and with twists and turns will enjoy these original, dark themes and spicy scenes.

I'm reading a FF book after a really long time and I was excited to dive into this wild ride but it was definitely not at all what I expected to be - Filthiest And Kinky 🥵.
As always Ms. King didn't disappoint in raising the temperatures to an all time high with taking us on wild escapades with Rose and Rachel.

Both come from super wealthy families but there is something in the past that seems to be dark and definitely leaves a lot of room for more questions which I'm hoping will be answered in the next books.

Rose is the possessive one who is crazy for Rachel but is also a serial cheater as is hinted at and also unapologetic about it but yet in her eyes Rachel belongs to her and only her while for Rachel, Rose is her entire world.

We get a sneak peek into their highly dysfunctional, emotional and kinky relationship and they both just go at it and are so thirty for each other constantly.
That ending tells me we are in for some high on angst times in the next books.
Can't wait to find out. 🔥🔥

After reading Queen of Broken Hearts novella I was running to start this one. Even though Rose and Rachel made me go crazy in that one, yet I was wanting to see what would happen next. Would Rachel's one sided love reach fruition especially when the object of her desire is a Playgirl to the extreme.

So I have to say when I started this one, I was not ready for the intensity and rollercoaster ride this one took me on.
I mean FREAKING SHT. There was just so much going on.

Rose is back after two years when she was kidnapped on the very day that she was to run away with Rachel.
Now Rose is back and nobody knows why she was taken or what happened or how did she ever escape?

There are secrets piling up, sure but for Rose, the people that were always the centre of her world have their lives changed as even though, Rose is the same girl who can sleep with anyone if she likes them at one glance, yet she's also the same possessive one who will do anything for Rachel.

The biggest shocker comes when Sam traps her and makes her be complaint to his plan to find the Volkov brothers, whose whereabouts no body can find out.
Why is Sam doing this and especially when he has a man of his own, Lik, yet why does Rose hate him and yearn for him at the same time?!

Lik was hot and his 🔥times with Sam had me 🥵 for the way they are with each other. Even though all characters have their own flaws yet Sam has to be my least favourite one. I just didn't like the way he would treat others.
Lik was a sweetie and a easy going cool dude.
I have to say though, the buildup to the attraction he feels for Rose was so beyond hot as he's a man who's never found a woman attractive.🌶️🌶️

Rose is a mad house and a maniac obsessed over Rachel but what I loved was the fact that now she's getting a taste of her own medicine with not getting Rachel's attention and having to be her dirty secret when she treated Rachel the same way in the past.

Yet I really can't blame Rose for the way she is especially after reading about her past I had tears in my eyes and wanting to save the little girl in the past for when she was wronged.
Rose definitely made me feel emotional for her and I might not agree with her actions at times yet that girl is a softie somewhere inside.

Rachel, man, poor thing. It felt like she's always in some kinda prison one time or another but I can't wait to see her get justice this time for the burden she carries and doesn't have to.

This one has tons of Kinky and outright filthy times loaded with so much spice that I would say read carefully or you might get burned with all the heat. (Kidding, although the spice is freaking hotttt ♨️🔥🥵)

THEN COMES THAT ENDING.😱😱 .... WHAT THE.... I knew that there was something not adding up... BUT THAT... Yep, straight going for the next book. Can't wait to start it after reading this crazy shocking twister. Also, hoping to find more times filled with utmost debauchery and 𝗌𝖾𝗑iness in the next one.😉🌶️

Wow... I really am speechless right after reading this one and I need a minute to process the intensity and rollercoaster ride that this one was.

After reading book 1 and especially the way it ended, there are questions that need to be answered, the main one being, what is the actual connection between Rose and the Volkovs and what is she hiding and why?

I have to say, I had hated Rose when I'd read the Queen of my heart novella because I felt she was a girl who didn't respect relationships and didn't care for love but boy was I wrong... So so wrong about her.

Knowing the extent of what that girl has been through made me oh so ache for her and I understand why she's the way she is.
Rose White might be one twisted woman but she's a Fiesty and Strong woman for sure, you definitely can't deny that after reading this one.

My heart also went out for Rachel especially when things escalate to a degree where I was so freaking out for her and was scared to find out what would happen next and would she make it out of it or not.
But she has a craziness and a unique strength of her own which definitely left me in awe of her.

I have to say Sam is the one that Ms. King finally made me like him. Although at the start and many times I was just irked by his behaviour and controlling ways as at times he showed no regard for the other person's wishes yet as we delve deeper into the past and getting to see Sam's side of the story, did win him points in my eyes for him.

LIK IS THE HOTTEST AND THE COOLEST. Lik is a favourite of mine and I have to confess his times with both Rose and Sam were so beyond hot... Oh my....
Lik only likes men, so what makes his time so much hotter with Rose is because Rose is the only woman he's attracted to and when he takes her.....OH MY FREAKING GOODNESS... I WAS A MELTED MESS.🥵🌶️🌶️🔥🔥

There's a lot happening in this one, along with the secrets and the lies, the findings and the past demons all come together.

BUT ONE THING THAT NEEDS TO BE SAID IS THAT - THIS ONE WAS LOADED WITH HOT SPICINESS TO THE MAX. I mean there's Kinky and then there's these four people who will definitely melt off your panties with loads and loads of hot times.
There's, MF, FF, MM, MFF, FFMM... You can just imagine the level of hotness Lik, Sam, Rachel and Rose bring out in this book. 🔥🔥🌶️🌶️🥵🥵

The secrets and the suspense were so freaking good and the spice and the action and chase keeps you HOOKED ON TO THIS RIDE AND WILL NOT LET GO.

That ending and the bonus content just added extra awesomeness and extra flavour and made me smile to see these four finally happy together.

This is a novella of 8 chapters with POVs from Rachel and Rose. In this one, the reader gets an inside look at what Rachel and Rose's relationship is like at the beginning when they were still in High School. I loved that in this one we get to hear the emotions Rachel is feeling from her POV about Rose. Plus how Rachel is affected when Rose drops her to fool around with others and not be committed to Rachel. It is a little look into these characters. I loved this little insight especially since Rachel doesn't get many POVs to see her side of things. There are also a lot of S3xy times in this short novella.

For sixteen months she disappears being kidnapped by the Bratva for revenge. What happened during those months? We don't know which leaves a mystery to start this book. 

Rachel Harris, Rose's girlfriend,( the prequel, Queen of Broken Hearts) Now? Rachel is expected to marry an abusive man for her family's gain.  Sam, is Rose's older brother's best friend and her first love. But now he thinks she betrayed him and is on a rampage to not only hunt and kill the Volkov brothers but Rose as well. Why is it a mystery in these 16 months we don't know anything? Malik is entwined into this, but how, you'll need to read this one to find out.

This one was a ride; full of back and forth between Rose, Rachel, LIk, and Sam. I enjoyed reading Rose’s story. I wasn't sure which way this book was going to end and it kept me wondering what was next.  Rose just might be suffering from Stockholm Syndrome because of her worry and care about Viktor Volkov.  Will she listen to Sam, Lik, and Rachel or will she admit that he isn't good before it's too late? 
I loved seeing how everything played out in this story. It was a nail-biter wondering if they would get an HEA or more heartache and pain. I loved all the characters and by the end, I could see this polyrelationship might just work if they can save Rose from Viktor.  I love all the stories from Lola King. An amazing Duet.

I picked up Game of Hearts because I saw the omnibus and thought, A novella and two full books? In a poly romance? I’m in. And it absolutely delivered.

Queen of Broken Hearts (Novella)
This one is spicy and emotionally chaotic.
We meet Rose and Rachel—Rose is adopted into wealth after a rough foster system upbringing, while Rachel comes from privilege. Their relationship is toxic but passionate—Rose is possessive, needs validation from outside flings, but still sees Rachel as hers. Rachel, meanwhile, only has eyes for Rose. It’s dysfunctional, yes—but deeply emotional.

King of My Heart (Book 1)

This is my first read by Lola King and I loved every bit of it 🫢

Well you’ll start of with a novella and than two books wich are all in one
(but you can read them all as one)
There was so much diversity
We had FF in the novella with a college trope …and my o my was this entertaining and definitely a lot of spice 🫢
You’ll not be disappointed because even with the spice the story and a amazing plot lines, so you’ll get a story 🫢
I usually don’t read ff or very rarely but I did enjoy and love this one so yeah I can totally recommend it 🖤
Rachel and rose are both very obsessed with each other but things doesn’t really work they usually do because they both have their baggage to carry with them…

The second book has FFMM but it was more of a MM and mafia trope with many twisted lies and secrets🫢
This will start of with the return of an abducted one…
Here we’ll read more about rose and there will appear two more characters who are also very interesting to read about 🫢
There is definitely a lot of tension and passion between rose and lik but also between lik and sam …
As I mentioned this book will have a lot of dark secrets and it’ll show some dark sides…
Again an amzing book with amazing plot and spice

In Book three we have FFMM and we’ll get to read even more about Rose,Rachel,lik and Sam …
Well let me tell you I did not think that this series could get any better but guess what it did and it was definitely the spiciest out of all three…but again the books have some amazing plot lines 😶

First, I want to say Thank you to @lolaking_author and @valentine_pr_ for the opportunity to read this ARC.
You know I love a good dark romance read and this series just made its way to my highly recommended reads. I was given this book series "A Game of Hearts" as an ARC and yes, I mean series because this is a completed works which contains one novella and two novels in one.
We follow our main character Rose, and she struggles with heartache and acceptance. We watch as Rose struggles to put her life back together after she has been kidnapped. Her life has turned completely upside down and to make matters worse, the woman she loves is engaged to someone else! To be honest I don't know how I would have reacted If I was put in that situation. I should also point out that you should read your TRIGGER WARNINGS! As Rose tries to find a new path, she finds herself at a crossroads when her best friend Sam wants her dead, but his boyfriend Lik is becoming rather attached to Rose. As their relationship blooms, her ex-girlfriend Rachel does not want to let her go. The spice in this is amazing!!!!
I know these characters are mentioned in another series, so I did have some questions, but it did not take away from the series at all if you happen to stumble on this first!
After finishing the books, I cannot tell you how much I fell in love with their relationships. I loved seeing how all four of the characters developed in the course of 3 books. I can't for you to read this series! I had a great time reading and I know you will too!

I don't usually read dark romance, but this was a big surprise for me. This is such a crazy story! Check your trigger warnings! ⚠️There is mafia, violence, sex, polyamory, bdsm, kidnapping and more!⚠️
I ended up enjoying this so much. Was there some cringy parts that made me pause for a few minutes? Yes, but this story sucked me in, and could not stop. I really want to read more by Lola King in the future, definitely!

My Take:

This book is an Omnibus with a Novella prequel called Queen of Broken Hearts, then two full novel duets: King of My Hearts and Ace of All Hearts. It is a compilation of Rose's story and complicated relationships she has with a few people. One of the spiciest Sapphic stories you'll enjoy in Queen of Hearts, an introduction to Rachel & Rose's story. That's where you get to know more of Rose's story and what her true struggles were. I was initially frustrated with Rose's character, but as I read on to King of Hearts and Ace of of All hearts, you have a better understanding of Rose, what happened to her as ypu hear of her in Stoneview series and ypu will fall in love with her in the end. I enjoyed reading this book. I went in blind not knowing some of the characters mentioned from the Stoneview series. I was a bit confused at first, but it does explain a lot. But I think this book would be much more enjoyable if you read the Stoneview series first so you can understand the characters, their dynamics, and their individual stories. Great read, I can't wait to get the physical copy of this Omnibus and ho back and read the Stoneview Series by LolaKing!

This is an omnibus that includes Queen of Broken Hearts, King of My Heart, and Ace of All Hearts. I was super excited when I got the email from Valentine PR that I would be getting a copy of this book to reivew. I really loved the story and the spice was hot enough to singe a persons eyebrows right off.
I found Rose to be hard to relate to at first and she drove me insane. But as the story progressed I ended up liking her. She had some of the best character development i've read in a long time. I think I would have enjoyed the book more if I would have read the Stoneview stories first because I was told that the characters from these books were first introduced in those books. But it did not really impact the way I felt about this book, and the book still made sense. The plot twists were so good! My heart broke for Rachel several times throughout th book, but I am super happy with how things ended for her. All in all it was an amazing book, with really good plot, and even bettr spice!

This was my introduction to the author’s work and what an introduction it was! Going in I didn’t know what to expect. There are two full-length novels and a novella packed into one collection.

Rose wasn’t my favorite at first but her character development was fantastic. She’s lived a life full of traumatic event after traumatic event and it’s an emotional rollercoaster to see her deal or not deal with everything that’s happened. Rachel was wild card and I loved her character from the beginning. Her true self hidden behind her shy, soft spoken demeanor was my favorite. Loved when her true self came out to play. 🔪 😉 🥵

Adding Sam and Lik into the mix and the chemistry was off the charts! 💥 The power struggles between Sam and Rose were my absolute favorite and when they both gave into their desires I screamed with giddiness!

The resolution with the villains came too quickly but it was definitely a satisfying ending.

The characters’ journeys, the multifaceted characters, the plot twists and the spice were well worth the read!

• I went in to A Game Of Hearts completely blind and not having ever read any other books that connect to the characters in this story. Having said that, I do think it would have helped me understand the characters better, but it was not necessary and didn’t take away from the experience.

• This book was one of the Spiciest that I have read. The characters each had their own character developments through out and the action parts were fantastic.

• Rose, Rachel, Lik and Sam’s love was beautiful to read and experience and oh so hot. Proceed with caution because you WILL be turned on and you will need to take care of it😅🥵

This was my first book by Lola King and it kept me interested to see what was going to happen! I was also yearning to see when it turned into a MMFF romance. (Which you get PLENTY of)

This book includes a prequel and two full length novels and follows Rose, Rachel They have a TOXIC relationship, which they both are aware of, but their love is so deep they can’t stop going back to each other. It slowly turns into a why choose romance, adding in Lik and Sam which I DEVOURED.

I always enjoy reading books where the characters help each other through traumatic events. Character driven plots really capture my attention and this definitely checked those boxes for me!

4.5 Stars!! This is an omnibus of Rose's story in Stoneview and it does not disappoint. This is my first-time reading Lola King though I don't think it will be my last. This is one of the steamiest reads I have read in a while along with lots of action and tons of secrets that slowly eek out throughout the story. It's a long read but well worth it. Good character development and a storyline that keeps you reading to the end. This is not a read for the faint of heart as there is some seriously bad things that happen to Rose and Rachel. The love they have and the love they develop for Sam and Lik makes this a really good read.

Holy F - this world, these characters, there is NO LIGHT in the tunnel, so go back now before you are completely overtaken by the story. 😮‍💨
The amount of times I had to pause and reread and stare at my kindle, I lost count tbfh.

Sam, Lik, Rose & Rachel - did not deserve the HARD trauma they’ve endured in one way or another, but here we are.
Believe me, no one touches the people Rose & Sam love and …. No one.
I mean it.

I knew from the beginning that Rose was a complex individual and loving her would take more than just a man or a woman. I knew that she wouldn’t go down easy. It would take a lot to get her to open up and show her love to anyone. Sure she would show them a good time and give them what they desire physically but emotionally…nope not her style.
Reading Roses collection made me feel all kinds of things. I now understand her better and why she does things as she does. I see now it took more than one persons love to settle Rose. The more you learn about her…the more you want to know. Rose is for sure beautiful disaster so if you are into that then this is a collection of reads for you. I loved every moment of her story..or should I say their story.

ARC REVIEW!!! this was a wild ride! i don't know what i was expecting but i am thouroughly impressed with this book! i think there were some books that i should have read before this one (oops), but nontheless, this was still really enjoyable! i think this is one of the spiciest books i've ever read, and i've read the ritual. this was just on another level with it being why choose!

This book was very different from what I usually read and I loved every bit of it. I lost myself in the read from the first page and finished it in a single sitting. The complete read was an emotional whirlwind. I could not help but fall in love with all the characters as I got to know them. I loved the character growth of some of them and was waiting with batted breath to know how things would unravel. Its a read packed with emotions that left me feeling content at the end. The first book starts with Rachel and Rose the twist and turns of their relationship that you didn't see coming. The love and care they also have for each other with dreams of becoming more. Rose has a run in with past and end up being gone for some time. After coming back home he runs into Lik who she thinks is a friend. Later she realizes Like is Sam partner. The story follow the crazy group and you see how beautiful everything turned out.
